I had a preconceived notion I would not like the green dial but your vid dispels that notion. The watch is absolutely beautiful. I have a Bel Canto in Black on order but estimated delivery is Jan 2024, so for now I have to wait and be content to look at vids like yours on this amazing timepiece. Thanks for sharing Blake.

I love the look of the watch, but the hour repeater chime is also of interest to me (it would help me pace my work day in a pleasant manner). How loud is it when the watch is on one’s arm? I’m not sure, but I’d guess that the metal case back helps resonate the chime’s sound better than would a sapphire one.

I own a bespoke CW Sealander GMT, it was made for our watch club and a CW C1 Grand Malvern Worldtimer. I got the early heads up to order the first release blue Bel Canto before it hit the public. I sat on it and thought, well its more expensive than the usual CWs, Ill just wait for a sale or when they drop the price....... yeah...... slight error on that call. Kind of a heads up, not sure what it is yet but Mike France was interviewed a few weeks back and explaining the delays. He mentioned a few times a new project coming out that will not suffer the same fate. He seemed very excited about it. Wonder what it is?
2:41 Really? He wasn't able to deduce this from the pictures? I'm not sure how much a dial design would change from picture/videos to in-hand in real life. I mean just looking at the crazy design, you knew what you were getting yourself into. Something smells fishy. I don't think he's telling you the real reason why he's parting ways with it. That's like me ordering a Moser with no hour or minute markers on the dial after seeing countless pictures and videos of of it online, getting it in-hand, and then being like, "oh shoot , you know what, it's hard to tell the time with this dial!" Its like no sht, you couldnt tell by the lack of hour and minute markers on all the pictures? 😂 Same with this Bel Canto. Its like really, you really didn't think tjat it would be hard to tell the time after seeing multiple pictures of the dial design with its crazy unconventional design and with lack of hour and minute markers? 🤦♂️ Suuuuuuuuure.

Inside the house without a ton of loud sounds around, you can hear it. Outside with any other sounds would be hit or miss.
