The gentleman is right. University of Ibadan had its own acting company back in the days which was known as the Unibadan Performing Arts Group. They had a program on the then NTV/NTA Ibadan that used to air on Sunday afternoons. 'Theater On The Screen' was what it was called.
Mr Yinka Akanbi explained the reasons why I'm so glued to your channel, thanks so much Mr Yinka Akanbi for the interview. Thanks so much Mr Dele Adeyanju for your great works, they are more than just interview, your works serve as 'docu-series' for some of us.
Late Professor Foluke Ogunleye (née Adesina) died on December 26, 2015 on her way from Ibadan to Lagos while visiting Nigeria from her sabbatical. The accident also claimed the life of her brother-in-law, with her husband and the driver sustaining injuries. She was journalist/former government spokesman Femi Adesina's older sister. Many thanks to my dear Egba brother Yinka Akanbi for the inspiring interview. We met when I did a couple of voice overs for Tade Ogidan in the late 90s. Tokunbo Akintayo, ogtv news anchor in the 90s/noughties.
@dr.tayoa.edmund5523 my bad..she was for a very long time ..and most parts referred to as Ms Adesina in my most recent memory or recollection. She was my literature teacher in the early '80s during my secondary school days at St.Patrick's Ibadan.
When you see a master in his/her act, you know. Egbon is good at what he does. Kudos! Please release the Gelede documentary, can't wait to watch it.
Great and insightful interview.
Such an insightful and entertaining conversation. Uncle Yinka is alway a delight to listen to🥰
