I always wanted someone to make a biopic on Dr Vikram Sarabhai because he was someone that people should know about, I was hoping that I will soon see a movie on him, but finally it's done in a form of web series and with what perfection they've done it.
I would love to see more films about ISRO, wheather they are based on real stories or a fictional one.
It actually gave me goosebumps when A P J Abdul Kalam Sir was introduced to the show

Being a student of Nuclear Physics , me & my friend who is in Commerce , i explained him nuclear reaction for half an hour ! I was so excited for this one ! From 12-00 - 08-00 PM i was invested in series ! BTW loved review

Yes after a long gap I can literally see a masterpiece... All actors just nailed their characters in their own way...But Jim as Sir. Homi J. Bhabha was outstanding... Thanks, Vi for your review.

These are my initial thoughts
What a masterpiece it is. The characters, storyline everything is just a flow masterpiece.
The BGM music and intro theme music needs a special mention. Loved it
When I was watching these series, there is a constant thought in my mind regarding Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai. These guys lived for INDIA and its development.
Also Dr. kalam is shown in his youth days.
Loved to see him in this character. It was quite shocking the way he replied back to that american journalist.
You'll feel inspired by watching this series
These guys did wonders for their country when they had rare technology. Now, we are entering into web3.0. There are so many ways we can prove and take our country to the next level.
I would love to see the season 2 of this series featuring the Dr. Kalam role in rocket history to the people's president of india.
Man when APJ Adul Kalam introduces himself with his full name in the mosque gave me goosegumps and i recorded that part 😃
I just watched 2 episodes yesterday and I can say-it's A masterpiece in it's own way,
The animation starting, straight forward Vision of Homi bhabha- "Train is arrived ,are you on it or have you left behind"(grabbing every opportunity on door) hita hard, love chemistry of scientists awesome 🔥👍🏻.

I Seriously Fell In Love With The Series. The Visions Of The Indian Scientists Affected Me A Lot. I Enjoyed Every Second Of The Series. The Only Problem I Faced Was The Time Period Of The Incidents.
I Ignored That Point & Enjoyed The Series......It Was My Best Experience To Watch A Series In 2022.... I will Never Forget These Characters Played By The Sincere Actors........I Have No Word To Explain How Much I Enjoyed The Series.........

Such a series was long awaited showcasing the untiring dedication. This is patriotism and not the jingoism we witness.
When Vi said "maine ek baar bhi intro miss ni ki " then i was ' he's literally me' .
Apart from the 2 leading protagonists- Sarabhai & Bhabha portrayed by Singh & Sarbh resp, I would say the female protagonists were also portrayed as positive opiniated & visionary in an era when India was so young. Mrinalini Sarabhai is definitely the real character, I was very impressed with the way her character was portrayed taking one step at a time to fulfill her ambition. Women doing great in that era is a feel good factor in the webseries i must say women of those days were equally boisterous & fearless just like the women of today. Unlike with Satyameva Jayate 2 , Nikhil Advani dint disappoint us with this particular patriotic production venture.
Sony LIV is giving the giants Amazon and Netflix a tough competition 👌🏼

The way dibyendu sir and Jim sir have played their roles I loved their performance. I wish is series ko wo attention mile jo isko milni chahiye coz this is about our heroes our real heroes. And Jim sir I'm a big fan of his acting the way he performs man 🔥 his performance in padmavat, Sanju, made in heaven, rabta and etc. was 🔥🔥 I love his acting❤️

Peace and happiness in my mind after watching this.And feeling more proud and patriotic as an Indian as well as a science student
Finally we have something of our own that deserves a global audience. Its going to be a cult. Alongwith Bhabha and Sarabhai it also talks about Dr. Kalam, SS Bhatnagar, Sir Raman, Pt Nehru and the legendary JRD Tata. Though expecting more on JRD . The makers beautifully avoided showcasing political conflicts particularly during partition. Hats off for the detailed research like role of Bishop at Thumba village, Indian Institute of Science, Merger of Travancore etc.
No one talked about the glimpses of Mrs Indira Gandhi and Shastri ji in the series which clearly indicates that we have to wait for its next season.

It was an amazing series. Meaningful inspiring with a contemporary touch. Best part was to know how these great personalities of the same time were so well connected and inter linked. Agree with most of review points except background score which was less impacting at certain high points. Wish they extend the series ahead in the same story line

I love this show I got Goosebumps in entry of APJ Abdul Kalam
I'm also dark crime thriller fan of Indian Web series but after watching rocket boys really I've loved it a masterpiece by Sonyliv after scam 1992 really goosebumps with real videos of special moments where performance by every supporting cast was really brilliant and outstanding especially apj abdul kalam and mathur character was really suprising and jim sarbh is born for Homi Bhabha role I can't imagine any other actor in this role where ishwak singh was also brilliant and authentic in Vikram sarabhai really aslike pratik Gandhi as Harshad Mehta this actor Will Also be known for Vikram sarabhai really he just nailed it and what a beautiful direction with visuals and cinemathography was really beautiful which made this series masterpiece 😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌😍😍❤️ after scam 1992 this series will be huge concept especially for people don't like physics they will also Love this series 👌👌😍❤️😍😍❤️😍😍

Hello, I am from Pakistan and I always loved your review videos and find them really justifying and true, However about this web series I liked it a lot and everything including music was good too, but let me tell you while listening to the BGM I never knew that the MD for scam 1992 and Rocket Boys are same but I guessed it only by listening because they have similar rhythmic tune also the BGM where the title for Rocket Boys comes it sounds like the BGM from Harry Potter whenever the Marauder's Map scenes come. Just a review of input from my side. 😊

Now i got to know why sony liv has kept subscriptions price high due to content it delivers from Scam - tabbar - whistleblower and now Rocket boys amazing content delivered to cinematic experience. As you mentioned all of this is not for mass like Sardar Udham but its an cinematic experience those who appreciate cinema. Due to OTT we got amazing content for people who appreciate cinema aa art.
Review is good! But my personal view is, this beautiful n brilliant craft has no such negative points. This is a superb show which has elements in balanced way n at exact amount. I hardly remember a webseries made with this much flawless n with ease . I don't know I even know all these characters by their name Or they are sealed in my mind as Homi bhabha, vikram sarabhai Or Kalam sir ( with all respect) . This is the first time I see them only in that frame.... I was astonished with this beautiful craft.... Kudos to each and every one in crew.... They need appreciations nd awards...

Agree with me or not but somewhere we did expect some scientific stuff that could have been part of the story in the series. to put an exact reference, Chernobyl was some real scientific series I would say, the way nuclear radiation and nuclear fission was explained plus the way the horror of radiation effect was set through the entire series . I wasn't expecting it to be like Chernobyl but I expected to see more of Scientific scenes where some explanation of nuclear reactior and it's functioning,the making of rocket etc would have been better than seeing the politics. although overall we can say that it was what we really need to know and it was brought to us in a very presentable way through this series
