The new midrange drivers of the ultimate do a very good job in sound quality. I didn't expect the ultimate louder than two 710. Sold my ultimate and got a 710 instead, because the ultimate was to big. How does the bass feel in reality? I hear more bass in the video for the ultimate than 2x710 for sure.
Is the stereo really worth it? Does it make a big difference vs single speaker? Currently I have 710 and I don't know if I should get second 710 or just get the Ultimate instead.

JBL Ultimate is clear winner for outdoor, I have a JBL710 which is more than enough to rattle the neighbors windows on bass boost. Love the JBL Partybox line. The only negative thing I'd say is the price of the Ultimate. Can't justify spending $2000AUD on one. Sure better light show and sound, but WIFI? Really? No one buys a speaker of this caliber for the WIFI. I'd rather spend like $300AUD less than have WIFI. I could get 2 used Partybox 1000's for the same price as the Ultimate, daisy chain the 1000's and blow the Partybox Ultimate out of the water. Maybe if there is a decent sale I'd get an Ultimate, until then, not worth the upgrade.
Partyboxes are always overpriced so you shouldn't really buy them at MSRP if you are concious about your spendings. Few months down the line Ultimate should be 2/3 the price which is more appropriate in my opinion.
Please do the same comparision with all speakers on bass boost 2 and with full equalizer. 710s lose a lot of deep bass outdoor. Ultimate sonuds more in 50-60hz frequencies, what is more audible outside 😜🔥🔥

This ult is heavy and not transportable, and the color music is wild and too bright! You'll love two 710s, and they'll be more than enough. And if something happens, they can be taken outside without any problems. And the sound is no worse than the ultimate. The bass of two 710s is quite enough. At a distance of 5. 7 meters there is a decent pressure of two 710s. Who will listen to music like on video at 50 meters??? So in the video it’s just a range check, and no more. So I think the 710 is the best balanced speaker that has the right weight, size and sound quality.
@@ilyakv7282 I agree that 710 or even 310/320 is the sweet spot. 710 is already quite troublesome to move around when I take it outside and Ultimate is even bigger and heavier. Since Ultimate is way overkill for indoor use and it's not very portable, it sits at very weird spot for me personally. The only reason I still want the Ultimate is for it's sound quality and sheer power for outdoor use but it's probably not worth the investment objectively speaking since my Dual 710s are nearly as good. After I got my 710s I was taking them outside quite regularly but now I mostly use the 310 just because I can't be bothered moving two 710s around. It takes too much time and effort to set them up. 310 is just grab and go and that's why I love it. I still love my 710s obviously but they mostly stay in my room now. Very happy with them.
The ultimate is 2 x 9 inch woofers and the 2x 710 is 4 x 8 inch woofers. Perfect example of quality of quantity. The 710's should be pushing so much more air.
Also the 2x 710s is 1600 watts and the ultimate is still more powerful with 1100. Again, quality over quality! It even beats the partybox 1000 that has a 12 inch sub and 2 x 7 inch woofers.
@@tomdrums4607 7" woofers of partyox 1000 don't play bass, only mids. Partybox ultimate has larger dimensions and high excursion woofers which means it can move more air.
Once i told a person here that even if you buy 4 partybox 110 a single 710 will destroy them cause sound isnt working like this.He said i have no clue also before this video i said if you dont mind the stereo sound a single ultimate is stronger than 2 710. Also the ultimate has better amps and improve dsp you can hear it easily when the play at 100% the ultimate has way more clear signal than the 710. Also excursion woofers isnt the thing here but i agree with the cabinet litres.

Ok te entiendo que en exteriores sea superior pb ultimate pero eso se debe al algoritmo de IA que cuenta la últimate lo que le permite autoecualizarce al exterior, modalidad de la cual carecen las 2 pb 710 y por lo tanto se tendría que ecualizar manual mente por medio de la app, y ya veraz que casi estarían las 2 710 ala par de la últimate o talves asta la superen. Pero si las dejas en punto plano sin ecualizar los parámetros de frecuencia, es obvio qué ganara la últimate ten en cuenta ese detalle.

I recently updated PB 710 to version 1.35.0. And I was disappointed. All the joy from purchasing the speaker was gone. The bass disappeared and the volume became lower. Even pressing the bass button doesn't do much to solve the problem. The backlight began to work differently. Don't update your speakers.
Looks like your update is crooked. I have 1.35.0 and everything works fine. Both the bass and the highs are at their best. At home the bass is in the middle and without boost, as everything is shaking in a circle.
@@ilyakv7282 Previously, modes changed independently after a certain time. Now one mode works constantly and to change it, you need to turn it on the speaker.
@@Sapogi_Sandali I searched the forums about firmware 1.35.0. They describe that it was not the bass that was reduced, but the Hz. Above 85% of the sound was 40Hz, for performance reasons this was done so that there would be less distortion at maximum volume, since in 1.31.0 at 90% There is a decent amount of sound distortion at the volume level. Well, I’m happy with it, the house generally sounds like fire, even at 50% everything rattles from the bass. But on the street, I agree, the sound is lost, and one 710 is very little, you need at least two of them.
I think all those videos are paid and aren't very realistic. Ultimate is better of course, but not that much better, especially against two 710. The sound of those 710s are very muddy but in reality they have very clear sound, again, especially two in stereo. EQ from the 710s isn't default, I can guarantee that.

Acontece que a Ultimate conta com geolocalização, que se auto equaliza se perceber estar em um espaço aberto ou fechado. Provavelmente em espaço fechado onde você fez o teste, a Ultimate segurou mais a "potência".. Em espaço aberto a caixa toca automaticamente diferente.

I too have a pair of the Wonder Twins 😂 (710s) I also think one Ultimate won’t outplay 2 710s.
