crab tank on tower is horribly underrated. it lasts about as long as bubbler, you get massive DPS and long range splats while you protect teamattes, and if a booyah bomb comes you can just ball up lmao
@@willgofast5302 from what ive played before, i think as long as you ball before the booyah bomb it will save you from death, and essentially wastes the enemy’s way of getting you off tower
Splash is nasty when you have good tracking and can keep yourself alive. Especially if you’re using special charger/ saver/ up. It’s dead accurate when you’re on the ground so use that to hit your target, your TTK is fastest on the very edge of your range.
I find it funny how my mains for each entry in splatoon have been different. went from ttek, jr, and .52 in splatoon 1, to pretty much using kensa rapid exclusively with only side weapons like splash or dapples. now in splatoon 3 I've pretty much settled on splash. it may have lost damage up and mpu, but it still has burst bombs and crab helps against long range weapons. it's excellent for tc and sz. though you do have to be wary of inkvac, it's pretty much a hard counter to crab. that said, it has been consistently good the previous two games and it's looking to be its best form yet for splatoon 3.
unrelated question, but back in splatoon 2, did your team create weapon comps based on the weapons you guys could collectively play, or did you create specific comps to counter the playstyle of another team

I'm used to being very sensitive and don't feel that special when I try to use +0 or +3, but maybe by playing +5 I'm losing some edge? I often see pro players playing at +1.5 or +3, what is the advantage of low speed? I'm trying to figure it out but I can't, my hit and aim speed and click are the same on both +5 and 0

Loosely based on the map mode but honestly the meta weapons were so good at most points in splatoon 2 that everything was a mirror match.

the best sensitivity is the one where you can hit shots on. if +5 +5 works for you then keep using it
