Why do people complain when somebody says a TV show, commercial or video game brought them here? These great tunes are 40+ years old and have been overwhelmed by today's shitty mainstream music, so how else is a kid supposed to be introduced to them? Who cares what brought them here. True Story: At the beginning of this song Steven Tyler is playing the Vibraslap. (Rattle Snake sound.) He hits it 4 times. On the 4th time, at :23, it broke, and they left it in the final recording. Also, Steven wanted to have a Maraca's to play as well. However, they didn't have one in studio at the time. So the slight maraca sound you here is actually a sugar packet next to a cranked up microphone.
oh nice! i was totally coming here to state this fact haha. @ 0.23 in the tract you hear the vibraslap break as he hits it and then a few seconds afterwards you hear him fiddle with it and that's the coupled rattling woodblock sounds after the break. definitely cool that they kept that in the original mix, or even that it happened.
