Ooooh NICE reaction Tauri!!! I have fallen absolutely in love with this song... I would not have known about floriography if BB didn't make this song, and its such a beautiful thing, like a lost treasure. Hope you and all dear to my heart are doing great! Best wishes from Namibia
Can I mention they have already recorded their 3rd studio album, including Floriography !!!!? This album will be for sure one of the best future reasons to wake up in the morning ❤❤❤
Jesus! I resisted watching it before and watching it with you, Tauri! Ever since that song that Zora made in collaboration with Marjana, in the song Moonflower, which for me was a work of art, she won my heart! There is something in Zora's voice that catches my attention, especially in the fluctuations and vibratos, when she raises the tone of her voice and causes an oscillation, at the end of the verses! Woman! I watch you in a slower rotation so I can capture the whole context that is being exposed in front of me: translation of the lyrics of the song, arrangement, band performance and your reactions. And when a song, a singer, a band, connects with you, your physiognomy transforms like a flower that blooms! And Blackbriar has this power, just because of Zora's voice! There is a background whisper, at the beginning of the song, that floats between the headphones and captures your attention! Jesus! Look at this at minute 3:42! I see your gaze searching and waiting for a simple break in the musical arrangement, which produces a lightness in your expression, absorbing the music into your soul! This is beautiful, Tauri! The lyrics are richly written in a way that makes us assume romantic situations from the past! Searching through letters, notes, messages, between the lines, for what we want to read and say, is getting lost in time! The emotion of opening a letter, that curiosity of knowing what is written there, is a surreal feeling! Understanding the message that is exposed there in that specific handwriting, that only you can decipher, is indescribable! Zora worked this very well in the lyrics, in the arrangement and in the message! Man! We share some tastes! I also love the Victorian Era, with its characteristic structures, I also love reading, but mainly writing! And if I don't hold back, the words flow at a speed where my fingers write faster than my thoughts! You know, Tauri! I'm learning to understand you and I often try to put myself in that situation where you don't have your "mind's eye"! And I keep thinking, how do you transform so much information you receive into the lyrics of all the songs and reactions you've seen and heard? I have a huge affection for you! I've expressed this countless times in the comments, because I see you with the eyes of my soul, and not with the eyes of my flesh! This sincerity, this maturity, this constant concern for others, while at the same time emanating a sweetness, a sensuality, a light that comes from within you, warms my heart! What I see here, on the other side of the camera, moves me! Jesus! I'd better stop here! I love you, my beautiful one, with all my heart and soul! Always! Always! Always! I'll be here! Woman! Jesus... Take care! I loved the reaction! I loved the song! I loved Zora's voice! Congratulations Blackbriar! You won me over! But I don't have a favorite band! I have a favorite channel called TauriReacts! It was through you, Tauri, that I had the privilege of getting to know all the bands that have been on the channel and your reaction! I thank you for that! Pure emotion! Kisses to your heart! 💖🥰🌷(English is not my official language, that's why I use the translator)
@ Good morning! So! Both the lyrics and the melody, according to what is on the band's page, were written by Zora! She had a wonderful ability to construct the lyrics, crossing the meaning of the words, in the elaboration of the verse, of the verse, in a very beautiful symmetry! I loved the whole ensemble! As Tauri says, they manage to "hook", "capture" our attention! For someone who loves poetry, art, literature and music, this was splendid! 🥰
@rosana1961 Basically, here's what I know or believe or understand about how a Blackbriar song is built. It all begins with an idea / inspiration theme caught by Zora. She's then in the process of writing lyrics based on that basic magical idea given by one of the fairies surrounding her all days and nights. And then she composes the main vocal melodies with very high attention on how to amplify the lyrics. Then René receives the lyrics and the main melodies and turn it into a whole song. Then, when all other members are in the process of recording, they are adding small details and their own flavours in the way of playing the song. Zora and René are focused on how to convey the basic ideas. Not one useless note just to show off or for whatever reason. If it doesn't serve the song, it's out. The awesome original fairy is amplified by Zora's writing and main melodies, amplified by René's genius in music, and refined by all other members. That's why you can here a clear difference between Blackbriar's songs and basically all other songs that are just like : "oh, I've got a good riff" + "I wanna try that fill on the drums" + "what d'you think of that bass line" + "we need some lyrics to add on it, let's write something and we will see if that matches"...
@ I watched one of Tauri's interviews with Zora and Rene! And they all talk about how the idea and inspiration for the lyrics come about! And that's basically what you said! But what I admire is the way the lyrics are constructed! Thank you very much for the information! It was great to talk about the band! I'm sorry if my English isn't correct! I need a translator to communicate! English, unfortunately, is not my official language! Stay safe and take care! 💖
Sounds like you would be a perfect dinner companion for many neurodivergents - someone who is happy to listen to us gush about our special interests. (My wife and I have an agreement that she will tell me gently when I'm going on too long, which is handy.) Have you tried the BBC "Boring Talks" podcast? Each episode someone gets an opportunity to share their unusual interest, e.g., gas cylinders or cornflakes. It might scratch an itch. P.S. my least favourite architecture is Brutalist.
I wasn't a fan of Blackbriar the occasional song was ok, but this, this is perfect. I love it. Marking words from a quiet nook Did you make an acronym out of a lyrical hook they had me at these lyrics.... Another great reaction.
I still say Zora is an enchantress because I'm ALWAYS enchanted every time I hear her art. . .
Such a special band. Zora has an incredibly magical voice. Listening to Blackbriar in good headphones is a treat, so many great touches.
BlackBriar are the masters of this Victorian Gothic aesthetic in metal today.

Fun fact, the house is the same one they filmed Arms of the Ocean music video!
I love what Blackbriar does. Dark but beautiful. Great reaction 👍

Zora is not only an exceptional talented singer but also such a fantastic actresse. ❤
Jesus! I was waiting for this! Thanks Tauri! 💖🥰

What could be more effective than a Blackbriar song to unleash passion? 😊

@rosana1961 thanks! Your translation tool is very clear to me 😊
10:34 that was so funny, indeed! But you did it and thank you for that ❤
Never say never Taurie. There's a Victorian American home waiting for you someday. Great song BTW. I've really grown to like Blackbriar's music.
Hauntingly beautiful song 😀

Marking words from a quiet nook
Did you make an acronym out of a lyrical hook
they had me at these lyrics....
Another great reaction.
