I had a very bad experience once I was coming by car from Valparai to Coimbatore. There was severe mist near NEPC tea gardens. Nothing was visible. It was around 3 p.m. Then I opened the door glass near the driver seat and put my head outside so as to know the edge of the road. It was for about half an hour. I almost moved the vehicle dead slow. Fortunately there were no vehicle in the opposite direction. If there was I should have to move to my left. Under such circumstances one cannot see the egde of the road on to my left. It was really horrible. I was alone. Thereafter there was not much mist. Riding two wheeler or driving a four wheeler in ghat roads when raining is really enjoyable and a test to our driving skill.
