I know she has many powerful songs, but this one is special and extra emotional because it’s not about a man, but about the city she grew up in, and all it’s people. Makes me cry especially seeing her perform it in London.

I wonder if folks had the same reaction to Etta James during her generation as we do with Adele. They are both so incredibly talented. I am glad I was around when Adele came out & have had the opportunities to follow and support.
