Such a fun journal. I don’t understand how there’s people out there that act that way. I do hope that all those lovely customers will outweigh the bad ones

I worked retail for several years and enjoyed it very much, but yes, some customers were to say the least “challenging”
I wish I could say I was surprised by some people's hateful, inconsiderate, rude behavior--but I'm not. Luckily it's not everyone. It's just that the bad ones really get to you. I hope that store realizes what an exemplary employee they have in you! Don't work TOO hard...you know how much we all miss you! 😍
Hi Lynn, I love your To Do book. So fun. I'm glad you saved the artwork from that ruined book from your work. I am appalled with you at the behavior your described, and I'm so sorry that you were the one who had to clean up after the dog mess. What is wrong with people? Too bad the person who wasted the paint and made the mess wasn't caught in the act and charged for the materials plus a cleaning fee. That is just vandalism in my opinion. I'm glad that in spite of all of that, that you still love your work. Here's hoping that the bad behavior goes away.
I love the slender size of your journal, and the lovely birdie cover! A sense of entitlement is rampant in our culture today, and we are seeing the negative effects in all areas of life. It's not pretty! My dad worked retail all my growing up years - many joys but a few nutty things as well!

I feel your pain! I have worked retail as well and I have experienced how rude people can be. Watched them yank product off the peg wall cause they cant see it and break the peg brackets which brings down all the stuff and then just throw it on the shelf because 9 times out of 10 they dont want it anyway. Ive had customers bring in big dogs and watched them let their dog squat or hike their leg on the products. Ive watched one lady run into a display and was going to leave it all over until I made myself known and she said something about guessing she should pick it up! I had a little clothing store next to us and sometimes the salesgirl would come over and by cleaner not for the counters but for the dressing room cause PEOPLE would potty in the corner! Happened a lot! So watch out for that if you ever use a dressing room. They didnt have a bathroom but we did for the public. I used to be in accounting and after working retail and food, I too learned how mean and cruel people can be. But I also saw really good hearted people. I started getting vocal to those who were being destructive or letting their kids run and pull things off the shelf. Im so glad you found a few minutes to share with us. Miss seeing you. Seems ljke your part time job has turned into a new career! Lol. God Bless you!

Omg, my girlfriend❤ so many people completely suck! 😢 wtf is wrong with people to do that? What happened to, you break it, you pay for it? And so forth? I think people like us are displaced humans, we need another planet or something. You keep me sane! Dont ever stop your junky journals, please, and i love your garden. This is the best little to do list book I've seen. Love the bird cover. Having worked a lot of retail and owning by own small business I am not surprised by what you said people do. You didn't mention the stealing either, which is so on the rise. It's really a shame humanity has fallen so low.🩷🩷🩷
