I've just finished watching the new Batman movie, with its noir & kinda gothic theme, and some of the music suddenly reminds me of this particular music theme. It's holy, godly, yet at the same time sounds dark, bleak, existential, & depressing. a very rare Masterpiece.
man i miss the angelic chorus vibes that were present in many of DMC3’s tracks. Devil’s never cry, the cutscene where Arkham broke the tower’s spell, vergil 3, and especially this track. it’s something that I don’t think will ever be present in another DMC title but I can only hope.
If you think about it, hell in this game was meant to represent a fake heaven created by the first fallen angels who dared to rebel agaisnt God and ultimately were thrown to the abyss. Or at least, that's the vibe I get from this amazing chorus
I found this music fitting much like the throne room in the first game. When you enter Hell you expect some dark grotesque shit. But instead you get this, Holy, Heaven like. And entirely unsettling. It goes against what you expect and it has a eerie aura too it.
It's almost poetic in a sense. The souls of the damned are led to believe that they have attained paradise, only for the ghastly truth to slowly dawn upon them.
I'll never forget the first time i got to this place. The music, the atmosphere, the beautiful design, the flying platform coming to your feet. I remember staying in place to listen to this beautiful part of the music.

I think chorus for the level theme and metal for battle would be the perfect fit and it contrast really well too. I wish dmc4 and 5 went this direction. But the musics in those games are still great. But i still think dmc3 is the best game overall.
You should listen to the original song on her full version. Also I read the lyrics of the choir and are reversed.. THOSE WERE THE GOOD DAYS FOR THE PLAYERS
I grew playing devil may cry 3 and 4, but I was especially mesmerized and intrigued by 3. Dante was such a cool badass character to look up to back then, a guy never afraid to do what he wants and yet has a sense of responsibility and obligation towards to protect the world from demons. I finally got the chance to play it again after roughly 10 years and I fell in love with it again. The narrative of the 2 siblings, the human world and the demon world, the pursuit of power, and family were really as good as remember them back then and especially mission 18 with this soundtrack brought a sense of catharsis within me. Thank you Capcom for providing with such a game!
Love this interpretation of the demon world/hell. Kind of reminds me of Paradise Lost where the intention of the demons (who are fallen angels) wanted to rebel against God to remake the universe in their own image, which is the reason they fell in the first place. Now that they rule over Hell, they wished to remake it into a perverse imitation of the Heaven they wanted to rule.
I remember back when i played this game, it made me feel somewhat uneasy and sad. It´s like you are wandering down a path full of pain, hate, sorrow and there´s no coming back if you mess it up. And then you get confronted with a friggin game of Demon Chess. lol.

In a version of the battle with God and Lucifer that I've heard it was once said that Lucifer, as he was cast out, took a third of Paradise with him, now it could have meant the forces of Angels that stood with Lucifer, or the part could have been of the Heavens itself. Man, I love Devil May Cry 1 and when I see this picture, I can easily fantasize what it would be like if they kept that spooky yet epic horror, gothic, otherworld atmosphere and the song suits that perfectly. Hell is what we would come to expect
Angels to some, Demons to others...
Me hitting my head and falling backward seeing my life flash befroe my eyes:
"are you reglious"
Guy:nah not-me:this is my reglion
Guy:damn fam I'm down with that
Thank you
Heaven 👼
Dmc3 is the goat dmc game
Devil bless you.
No word, just cool
Hell is in the eye of the beholder.
The bosses in this game are so fucking difficult. Geryon, Beowulf, Cerberus, and Arkham to name a few. The boss rush of mission 18 to get the blue orb fragment is dreadful to go through.
Good song and good game dmc 3
Me pregunto cual es el nombre del coro que interpreta esta ópera?
When I heard The final battle ost in elden ring I came here 😢
Games dont feel the same anymore huh. Elden ring, souls and the dmc series are the only ones still doing it.
*It feels like I am actually in heaven rather than hell*
The sound of the true nirvana
How can it be the true nirvana when is the demon world xd
does anyone knows the real name of the song?
Anyone know where I can find the wallpaper for this video?
i wanted the "cursing" version where he speaks jebrish with that demonic voice.
Um dos infernos mais enigmáticos dos games, um lugar branco sem fogo, com dimensões interconectadas onde a gravidade se diverge, com demônios de aparência angelicais.
My kind of jam while destroying the chess board
If this is the sound of the condenatedes what would be the punishment for those?
the deep calls
This Is And Will Always Be My Shit!!!!!💪🏾😎
Is there a version with only the creepy part that follows the choir?
