This is really interesting. I've had my hair cut for years by someone who was a trainer at Vidal Sasson and is still in touch with them. She decided to go back to he rural life, her cuts are steals in terms of value due to her location. I've just had someone else cut my hair - I am in tears. These people are very talented indeed. I came across the best by accident and for an amazing price.

Her name is Silvia Salerno, she's not a youtuber but head of Sassoon Academy in London. Her lessons are life changing but very expensive. Totally worth it!
I’m a hairstylist and whilst I have respect for this nose in the air kind of work, I can’t help but notice how absolutely miserable this woman is. I’m happy as a clam doing hair and very good at it. I’ve never watched a Sassoon video where the instructor seemed to like their job. Sassoon needs to start conforming to some modern trends before they become obsolete.
Sassoon technique is pure class...You can't compare it to anything else...if your honest that is!! Sassoon doesn't need to conform to modern anything, they set the bar!! Its just an elite experience and you can't compare it to a high street stylist..I trained with Toni & Guy in London and the only reason I didn't do any creative courses with Sasson, was the expense..back in the early 90's it was about 9k then to train with them!
