Your jumping at shadows didn't disappoint. I'm sure Peter would approve and at the same time be modestly overwhelmed with your familiarity with his playing style. As for Paul, he was playing along the whole time and pulling the same kind of faces. God bless all three of you.
digging the tunes big time buddy. I had the long walk in my head all day and now i'm playing it and the rest of your songs after a hard days work. Thank you man, you've come a long way. I remember watching you demo amps mic'less at full volume for a vintage guitar shop. you deserve all the success. Keep on rocking Dave. respect
There’s so much expression in your playing… you’re such a top bloke with truly phenomenal talent … I could listen to your instrumentals all day 🤘 Big love x
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively. you sir are truly great! ❤
You inspired me so much! It was like one of the best concerts ive seen in years passonite full of perfect tone and the best lp playing ive heard in a minute im officially a FAN Dave your passionate and truly talented bravo bravo bravo!
Birthday Guitar time came around again Aug 5, and I treated myself to a Epiphone 59' in Aged Dark Burst. It's a matted finish but still awesome in tone and feel. So many great reviews for it on the Inter-Web that over almost 6 months I dreaded none would be around for me! ! ! Well, I got it and it's mine for ever. Great playing tonight Dave ! the sky was crying with those bends and the soulful gut bottom low end is outstanding. Thank you Sir Dave ! ''''
Just a side note on the subject of Les Paul influences. Paul Kossoff is my number one, the music of Free will always be with me. Peter Green is a legend. I have a third Les Paul influence… Martin Barre. If anyone is unaware I refer them to the solo from Aqualung, not a bad place to start.
You are Amazing, you have an incredible gift and a way of getting out of your soul through that beautiful guitar to all of us! Thank you for sharing, I am in awe of your talent. Cheers from Canada.
I could never stand on the same stage with Dave just for me to be musically dismantled with nowhere to hide ! Best wishes Dave, total respect for you as always.
Wow! what an incredibly skilled luthier! blows my mind how one dedicated person can create such and incredible instrument, true respect! All of course brought to life by your as always brilliant playing Dave, really enjoyed this thank you.
It's so hard to explain that feeling you get when you play the perfect guitar for you, but man you know when you know. Great playing and what a guitar!
Now that put a huge smile on my face. Stellar playing Dave 😎🎸 And the guitar My Goodness I could feel the wood vibration From through the pod cast. MOJO BABY! Excellent Video. Thanks for the share. Most appreciated! Best blues I have heard in quite a while, , make them all cry!
This is "One of your Best" Dave ... Plenty 'Genre' here... So enjoyed ! Who the 'mystery' guitar Luthier is ? Knows a thing or two or three or four !!!! (Would Mr Aussie-Wall come close) ? Did wonder what a Brass Slide would do ? Maybe another time ? another place ? another guitar ? ... Ha Ha... For my vote ? ... Your the Dude ! 🤠...
Got a 59 Epiphone with the same Tobacco burst from the inspired by line - and while I truly love it, man... I'm such a sucker for dark backs. The guy who builds these guitars sure slaps all of my tastebuds around in the most delightful of ways with his stellar work. Fittingly enough, your playing does so to. 😉
Not that it matters but I’m pretty sure the 59 Epi is a limited edition but not part of the inspired by collection. Still a great guitar though , I have one myself.
It seems that you fall in love with that guitar. I can ear and see it, but not feel it. Only you in that case can say that. Too bad i cannot test myself too. I think they are very rare moment in life we found "The guitar" and often it is not a question of label or price. It's just a question of our on feeling. Very beautiful video. A real pleasure. Thanks a lot Dave 🙏👍😏
Beautiful craftsmanship, both that of the creator of the guitar and certainly the artist playing it. Love all four tunes but the last intimate one with just the artist, guitar and amp…Oh My! ✌️
Mr Dave, you’ve made so many phenomenal videos I find it impossible to rank them. That said I have to put this video right up there. Your enthusiasm for that guitar is infectious and completely unrivalled. To the genius creator of that guitar, I can’t thank you enough for putting it into Daves hands. Mind, I’d also pour tadpoles down your trousers for taking it away again… Back to you Mr Dave, those four songs were better than my words could ever describe, you did indeed capture the spirit of Green and Kossoff. More than that you also injected a one third dose of Simpson. End result musical perfection.
It would be a gift to have an album of yours, playing your compositions in the GREEN/KOSSOFF line The first song of the session, I already imagined how pleasant it would be, if I did that!😍
Hey Dave have not checked in since you got your real 60s Stratocaster . This is a year old hope you have a nice holiday season. Needed to see this video was excited about the Epiphone Greeny to be disappointed when seeing it so now doing research on other Les Paul copies. I'ma Fender guy.
Almost thought you were going into the song "Tennessee Whisky" when you started that first track.. loved the vibe, easy like Sunday morning, chill out.
Man this is an epic jam. Just incredible tone and feeling and emotion. Really inspiring mate, listened last night, it made my Friday night. Thank you. 🙏🙏
Dave all these things are here to test us and you certainly put this Les Paul to the TEST ! Absolutely Awesome Guitar ! I'm very Jealous ! 😊👍 Enjoy and Rock On Man !
This is amazing Dave thank you. I really love that guitar too and i'm not even a big gibson or Lp guy but you can just tell that thing is stunningly well made.
Love it that a guy 40 years younger than I am has the same two guys as his blues favourites. Well played young man. Fabulous stuff.
Guitar is beautiful but Dave's playing is incredible. I'd be happy with just 10% of his talent.
👍🏻🥰👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your jumping at shadows didn't disappoint. I'm sure Peter would approve and at the same time be modestly overwhelmed with your familiarity with his playing style. As for Paul, he was playing along the whole time and pulling the same kind of faces. God bless all three of you.
Gorgeous playing, gorgeous sound. Dave at his best!
Amazing playing and tone and you nailed the style and sound of the two p’s perfectly 👍😎

Yup that's the way they should sound. Nice playing Dave, you rock!
Love the emotion.... pulls me right in and helps me see what you're feeling and reacting to.... mesmerizing my friend!! I better get practicing!!!
I played a 59 re-issue in the guitar shop and I was pulling face like Dave. It is easily the best guitar I have ever played.
This is probably the best performance and guitar tone so far out of all the videos I hv seen on your channel. ( for me )

Holy smokes! “Nothing Inside” took me into another dimension. Cheers Dave!
OK Dave... I get you not revealing the name of the luthier of the LP's, but that does make it a tad tricky for us, your apostles, to acquire one....
Well he would find it difficult to make you one from a cell 🤣
@@marka8738 A cell??? Nobody goes to jail for making a copy of a guitar....
@@cpk313 would lead to a massive lawsuit at the very least. Not like its from china where gibson cant touch them. But yeh i exaggerated a little 🤣
@@marka8738 🤣🤣👍🚓🚨
I'd buy one with a blank headstock to avoid identification and lawsuit problems.
Great playing Dave, nice one!

first guitar solo what shocked me when i was 15... after George Harrisson's solo in I saw You standing there ;)
Tim Pierce just did a piece Martin. Very worth checking out.
That was amazing. I would put these on a playlist.
