His motor is too low to play pro football. He consistently refused to be active during the plays
You don't need a motor to be an offensive lineman. You're just looking for a criticism
@@wilez3219 I played LT, you definitely need a motor. D lineman are physical specimens these days and will eat you up if you ain't turning like a driveshaft
@@dailyjuce I played nearly every position on the field. Not to belittle the position it is not completely necessary for left tackles to have a high motor.
@@wilez3219 I thought left tackles were the most important position on the offensive line ? If ur getting your qb killed.. you are finished early
@@jaydrains2247 the most important position is the quarterback. The most important unit on the field is the offensive and then defensive line. What does that have to do with the comment? The high motor is not needed to complete a blocking assignment
It’s a totally different sport. Wishing this kid great success on his passion!! God bless 🤛🏼🙏🏼🔥
Great personality as well . I swish the brother success on anything he decides to do
His foot work and personality got $$$$$ signs all over it!!!!!!!😂😂❤❤
😊He can do alot off the bench in NBA. He can be a rebounding machine
“If he would get up to 300 lbs”!! That’s 3 meals and 5 snicker bar for him😂
I sat next to bro at the Knicks playoff game 1 series 1 against the 76ers he’s a cool ass dude, actually a beast of a human being! Good Luck with your career Dj!!
He just need the RIGHT Coach behind him I can see him playing football to good luck Big Homie
Nah bro, a sad reality is that nba rookies get more in there first contract then some nfl superstars get in there whole career.
the men said he loves basketball with that answer
Off that quick clip of him i like his personality
He’s on the cavs right now😭
How could you not like this guy? I hope he does well in whatever he does.
People will find any reason to dislike someone
You gotta be a real dawg to play football on that level…gotta have heart
Zach Randolph 2.0 should go pro. Make more money have a longer career no brain damage. Wishing him the best of luck either way
It will be hard for him to adapt to that kind of grind and plus that's a different kind of contact.
Rootin for you bro.. whatever the endeavor 👊🏾
You Can't Tell Me This Instrumental Isn't Hot -(Getcha Freak On) Timberland 🔥🔥🔥
Couldn’t have chosen any better of an instrument 👏🏾👏🏾
dude sounds like such a great guy, best of luck in whatever field he chooses
He said hell nah at the end 😂😂😂😂
Love the loop
Great response from him in the end
They love him at NC State thats for sure. Seeing him play for the Wolfpack on the gridiron would have been awesome and must see TV
Football gonna fuck his life up frfr
Whatever you choose it was a pleasure to watch you play basketball. Don't know if you are a senior but if not please stay 1 more year at NCSU. We need you
Well spoken. Kid do your thing. Tractor Traylor, you remind me of him
I like how he was in those Hornets and Panthers jerseys. I feel there was something being implied
No, he has already said he will never play football.
Coach Campbell!! You definitely got one!!!
He spoke well. That was nice to hear
Thought it was Fanum for a sec😂😂😂
Always good to have options in life.
In football, where low man wins. Hype to be a star tackle? I’m glad he seems level headed and practical through all the attention and reporting.
Anything is possible, but 6’9” is not really an advantage in football.
It’s fun to speculate and imagine, but he’s playing the right sport to exhaust all options on first.
This baby has options! Such a polite young man and intelligent!! Can’t wait to see it all unfold!!
Yup, great potential to continue to excel. I hope he keeps his weight in check and continues to do great on and off the court! Young man is a beast.
Lakers could use him. He's worth at least a a late 1st. or second round pick.
I liked that picture of dj burns in a hornets jersey 🔥
Love seeing him in Hornets/Panthers gear lol
My goodness! “If you don’t make it…” the young man’s been killing though. Tf?!
man was built to protect the blindside
But but but ... Austin rivers said it's impossible to play both sports!?!
This guy's a beast in the paint, either way... I believe he will succeed in both sports 🙏
maybe DLine but it would take him years to be a successful O-Lineman. it's not a plug-n-play position
That man better go where the bag is heavy. Talking about options
I played football with a guy who was a D1 basketball player and he transitioned to football. He was a pretty good tight end. Good enough to have a cup in the league. A bigger cup than mine. Back in my day there were a lot of multi sport athletes. The youth has definitely become more specialized. I think I would’ve gotten bored, but I will never know I played every sport available.
There’s a lot of big dudes that have player O Line their entire life and can’t block well enough to be in the NFL. BUT I like the kid and want to see him succeed in whatever he choose. But in his own words it sounds like he’d go overseas before he tried football. Either way I wish him nothing but the best. Seems like a really good dude.
Size and Nimble Feet make him a worthwhile prospect, project.
I watched NC State in the second round and with what was basically a media blackout, was amazed at how skilled this dude was. Big man has those ballerina feet
Great job go do great things 💯
Bro make that transition & get that 100 mil
Its nice to have that option in the tuck.
He's got options...good for that young man. I enjoyed his run in the tournament.
275 my butt. Dude is already 300+ easy.
Basketball players turned offensive linemen have had a lot of success. Dj Burns already has elite footwork/lateral quickness. It would be a smooth transition
Aww he seems like a nice guy from that short clip
Love to see it go DJ
Similar size to my boy Bryant McKinnie✊💪
He’s a perfect tackle. With that foot work and quickness he can be elite
Reminds me of Zo when he played for the Memphis Grizz all those years
