Lol remember the last "infrastructure bill" passed where they stole millions from the people to divert to everyone and everywhere else EXCEPT our own dilapidated infrastructure (ex:Pittsburgh bridge collapse etc)
Bills are nothing more than a front for moving around our money.
It passed but no one knows where all the money went except for 7 charging stations🫤.
Maybe they should consider building another more modern bridge over the Sioux River for all those supplies and commodities which “…will affect them for months to come.”
Because railroad bridges are the responsibility of the government? It is an old bridge on a river that doesn't have any flood control, so it is prone to mild seasonal flooding. Getting 22" of rain over a significant regional area in a very short amount of time is the issue, not government politics. We used to say things like this is an act of God, and then do what we can to help those negatively affected...now it is "Is it a Red State or a Blue State?", "Did they vote on the thing I supported or did they vote against it?"

We lived on a river and after a hurricane there was flooding. I asked my dad if we had to worry about flooding in our home. He replied, we are high enough that it will be the end of the world before that happened. As a man who built and improved bridges and waterways, I figured he was right.
that is moronic and downright heartless to the point of being evil. It isn't anyone's fault. The fault is God's will, which can't be faulted for that takes both understanding more than God and superiority over God. The amount of rain that fell in a short period is the issue, for reality doesn't take such conditions into account in someone's planning, because you don't plan for such anomalies in weather, you accept that in such cases, tragedy happens, and pull together as a community, as a people...not find more hate and division.
@@robertevans2450 extremely heavy rainfall is not unusual. Every few years read about extremely heavy rainfall causing flooding and dams to break. So whether it’s Minnesota or South Dakota or Wisconsin or along the Mississippi, it happens.
