- Walk through the Valley Temple to the Great Sphinx at 8am with no crowds. This walk was filmed on January 20th, 2019. You will get as close as a tourist can get to the Great Sphinx and see it without having to look past other tourists. After walking around the Sphinx, the tour continues up Khafre's Causeway toward Khafre's Pyramid. 🎧For an even more immersive experience, be sure to put on your headphones and listen in 3D audio.

You can find travel tips anywhere, but here are a few of my own:
1) Take an Uber to get there or get a airbnb right next to the Sphinx entrance.
2) Do not enter the Pyramid Complex by the Khufu Pyramid. Go early and enter at the Sphinx.
3) When you walk in, there is a wall that separates the road from the interior grounds. You are free to climb over the wall. You are essentially free to roam and walk wherever you want.
4) The cost of a camel ride should be about $5. Some places will try to charge you $50 per person...or more. The cost of a horse cart ride is also cheap but DECIDE ON A PRICE FIRST. Do not get on a camel or cart unless you have first determined a price. You should be able to take a horse cart ride from Sphinx to the scenic viewpoint for $5 or less.
5) Learn a few helpful phrases...but around the Pyramids, learn to say "Moshayes" which means "I don't want it." You will be harassed a lot while you are there...but they are just trying to make a living.
6) You DO NOT need to give you ticket to anyone when inside the complex. You will be approached by guys saying they need your ticket and that they are a guide that is "part" of your ticket price. They are just trying to get you to pay them for their service. Keep your ticket....and say Moshayes.

Thank you for not putting loud annoying music over this, I appreciate it!
Is this a joke?
Sky no
I know right?! Thank goodness!!
It's a sarcasm
Turn ur volume down or off, ghey don't talk so you don't need it
The pyramids in the background are amazing and they look like mountains
From those of us who may never experience this incredible place, thank you so much!
your idea of remaining silent and walking showing us Sphynx angles we rarely see was so amazing thanks !!!!
Imagine walking there 12k years ago, the surroundings filled with lush Green forest with the White shining pyramid emitting its ENERGY into the atmosphere
@Al winata.."emitting energy to the atmosphere" !?!? "12k years ago"?? Dang your old... 12,000-15,000 years? So tell us what is the purpose of theses structures... enlighten me. How and why would be nice.
Seems I remember building it 27,736 years ago, in a past life of course!! With the aid of Zeus and Apollo or was it RA?? Gets confusing they all look the same. Silly gods. Why did we build it?? Dude... there was nothing to do, so boring. I mean NO u-tube, MSM to amuse us.. too many men not enough females, which lead to many problems. so.... let's go build some shit.
Never could figure out why Ra liked triangles so much … weird. Or maybe it was just a dream?
@@tlezzy8252 Uhm, calm down?

Egypt like Ive never seen before thanks for this video
i am so glad you did not put music to your tour, i like the feel of the real sounds of the place. Thank you so much for sharing your patient walk around the pyramid with no music.
Hey, glad you enjoyed the format of the video. I want viewers to get the most authentic experience possible. Thanks for watching.
Totally agree.
Walking up the causeway..... you did it at exactly the right time of day. The warm orange-tones on the pyramids with a perfect blue backdrop.
Try to grasp the awe it struck when the site was in its prime. Pure white pyramids with gold capstones shining in the sun, the temple complex and the Sphinx covered in an array of color amidst lush green ferns and palm trees throughout. Awe-inspiring and overwhelming, the intended effect on the human psyche..
Those pyramids in the background look majestic asf.
This is the closest I’ll probably ever get to seeing Egypt for myself. I appreciate there being no music or other distractions. Very much like if I was experiencing it for myself. Thank you for letting me visit through your eyes.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this with us! Your channel is my very favorite and I am so grateful for your tours. I am in my 70's, have cancer and very bad lungs and can barely walk so your tours are very exciting for me...almost as good as being there!
Hi Dianna, well I'm sorry to hear about your health issues but I am happy to know that these videos offer you a bit of joy. The next video will be a a longer walk around all three pyramids. I'm also working on another Positano walk. That one is almost done too. Please let me know if there is a place or something you'd like to see. I am still just fascinated by the local life here. I've been wanting to make a video on local living in Italy. The men all walk together on the street talking or sit outside a cafe playing cards. Kids are running around in groups in the streets. The ladies are carrying their meats and cheeses home from the local shops. The streets are full of people just out to be social. Thanks for watching! I wish you the best and hope you hear good news at your next doctor's appointment.
@@ProWalks Thank you so much for your kind wishes! Have you been to Machu Picchu yet? If so, can you please guide me to that video? So far, your walks up Mt. Vesuvius, Rome, Pompeii and the Colosseum are my very favorite! And, unfortunately, there will not be any good news for me, health wise, in my future, but I have come to terms with that and enjoy life to the best of my ability. Thank you again!
It's a shame reading so many negative comments. This video is simply terrific. The atmosphere and landscapes are breathtaking. Not to mention the mysteries behind all the history, it makes you wonder and imagine a lot of things.
condor67: I think the video should explain why small bricks are all over the Sphinx. To a tourist, this does not look like it was carved out of bedrock.
This was quite nice. I decided that sending a bit of cash your way for the excellent steady cam work and the subject matter with no noise besides a good morning and no millions of other people was just what I needed. Thank you, Tour Walker. Tip sent.
I really liked this video! What a great perspective. I can imagine millions of people living in this area.

As someone whos life time dream is to see this in person but will never be able to afford the trip, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
You are very welcome. I never thought I'd ever see the Pyramids either. Italy is pretty central location though and living here has allowed my family and I to visit many wonderful places. Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy the next walk around the Pyramids.
How do you know if you will never be able to afford this trip? They say ask and you will receive.
I hope you can.
Even on a small youtube video screen, the pyramids look beyond incredible.
Omg, Egypt? Sphinx walk? I must be dreaming, Pro Walks!😀😁😆😊
Pyramids and then Old Cairo are next.
The Pyramids are Impossibly big !! It's incredible !!! Great footage, thanks.
Magnificent video. I felt like I was there. The beautiful morning light, the quiet with just the sound of the breeze. It was perfect!
Wow! NEVER seen it like this. Next best thing to actually going. Subscribed
This video is amazing, the quality, the tranquility everything. Thank you for capturing this!
The right time to hit it for sure. Excellent l have never seen them from that angle before.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👋
Beautiful video, respectfully done with good captions. Also, great cinematography. It felt like I was there.
Awesome pov!!! best view I've seen yet ... Thank you for your effort !
Hey, you're welcome. Thank my wife..she gave me the okay to go. :)

@05:50 Those stones are perfectly placed, the colors, and the masonry is truly amazing.
For sure! The whole places makes you wonder.
Fantastic video and very smooth to watch. Thank you so much to an armchair tourist like me!!!
Thank you, thank you! I've never seen those angles, and never knew it had a tail. I love your videos - very well done. Thank you!
Welcome too Egypt anytime writer and yes right is very beautiful 😗🌷
I've never been in Egypt but damn... for the first time I realized how really huge pyramids are! Overwhelming!
Thank you for not talking and just showing, greatly appreciated
I'm glad you're enjoying the format. Some people leave comments saying the exact opposite. :)
This was very cool to watch, thank you!
This has to be the best video I ever seen of this. You’re blowing my mind I how clear it is. It’s like being there. Thank you for this.
It is difficult to imagine how breathtaking this complex looked when it was new.
What an amazing walk! I can feel the hot sun, the dry air and the heat too. Thank you again for your hard work.
Superbly made video with utmost calm and composure. Thanks galore for taking me to perhaps the oldest man made site on earth.
I loved how the dog came to you like it remembered you from a long time ago. It was very noticeable :)
Thanks for posting. I don't have the money to visit Egypt, so this is the next best thing.
That's the idea. It is definitely worth a visit someday.
1st time I have ever seen the Sphinx from a angle where you can see the tail. Thanks!
yes I loved that!
Felt like I was there, thanks to the wonder of 4k video and a walking pace. I doubt I'll be able to see it myself in my lifetime. I hope we find out the true history while I'm alive, these structures are just unmatched in history. Thank you Prowalk Tours, liked and subbed.
What an awe inspiring exit, 7:21. I feel like I've traveled back in time to ancient Egypt.
go play assassin creed origin, it's an excellent recreation of ancient egypt, in fact you don't have to play the game, there's a mode which allows you to tour the cities and pyramids while giving you information about the subject in the background.
This video will be the closest i will ever get to this amazing and miysterious place so thank you very much for bringing this wonderful place to me
Absolutely one of the best things I've seen on UA-cam. Thank you.
Hey, you're welcome! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
Wonderful video for the many who cannot travel there. The site must have been even more impressive in its original condition.
Great video. Like all you have been uploading so far. I´m in love with the egyptian civilization since I was a kid. Please, tell me we´re gonna get a second part !! Thanks for uploading this one.

Hey, thanks! For such a famous site, I don't think a lot of people really know what it looks like from a tourist's perspective. Thanks for watching. I am just about done with the rest of the walk through the pyramids.
I felt like I was playing a hyper realistic version of Assassin's Creed. In the game I would always ride to the pyramids and then just walk around and imagining that's exactly how it looked around that time. Love that game! Great video. I subbed.
Amazing content! Loved every aspect 👍🏼 especially the ASMR
Yes right is very beautiful welcome to Egypt anytime beautiful 😗😘❤
Loved thanks for making these
From Syria.. Thank you and welcome to arab lands
مرحبآ بك في مصر العربية
the pyramids on the horizon is an otherworldly site even to modern eyes, i cant even begin to fathom what it must have been like to see such structures for the first time as a bronze age person. Not to mention that this is only a mere echo of the glory of the ancient Egyptians. and in they're heyday would have been a far more magnificent sight.
It's crazy to see just how fucking big these things really are, and how they were built so long ago.
My jaw dropped
Thanks for this video! Felt like I was there!
I BET PROWALK IS THE BEST CHANNEL IN THE WORLD.
Very nice video! I liked the pace, and the looks from side to side, and the facts in the captions. I liked the ambiance of the quiet of the morning, and being able to see to people doing their jobs, hear a stray dog panting, and people talking in the distance... Well done!
Wow, fab and no bloody background music. Magical
This was so epic, I'm grateful. So much like being there and walking and looking around!
It's weird how the modern city is just that close to the sights. Imagine waking up and having those ancient buildings as your regular view
When I was there I stayed at an airbnb there in front of the pyramids. I sat up on the rooftop at sunset and read a book and sat up there at sunrise and had some coffee.
It's a surreal experience with American restaurants like KFC/Pizza Hut across the street from where the bus groups are.
I mean if you think about it, back when all this was built, the buildings where they ate food were not far then either.
Yeah, i think that KFC was a good idea. Everyone I know who has been to the Pyramids comes back talkibg about it. :).....although no one ate there. :)
I thought all that theory of the Sphinx being as old as 10,000 B.C. was unpopular. The way Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock tell it, they are basically the only scientists who believe that. So I'm surprised to see it mentioned here. Extremely interesting!
There's just no way it was built at the time said, in the time said, in a desert, by slaves.
The sheer water requirements would be insane.
@Generic Human 2600 BC it was a desert.
It has been a desert for around 7,000 years.
That's my point. The official timeline and methods are just patently false.

The most frustrating thing is most people who are interested in this topic- all know that "all the info in this vid" is BS. I honestly think we could do something about it, if we made a collective effort.
@49 GROUP True. I remember him now
@@Hyperdriveuk pretty sure the guy making the vid doesn't buy it, just posted the official line.
*_wonderful video, and the silence of no tourists made it great_* 👍👍👍
Exceptional views, beautiful video. 10*s.
Personally I believe the Sphinx is a min. of 10,000 years old. . A couple of geologists recently claimed that their studies show the Sphinx is roughly 80,000 years old. The water erosion is clear proof that it is much, much older than 5,000 years. Great video, hope to visit this place someday.
I'm glad you add the "alternative" ( more logical) theories behind the Sphinx.
I'm pretty fascinated by the Sphinx and ancient history in general. There are definitely some strange things going on there.
i get goose bumps seeing these magnificent pieces of art and acrhetiecture. i cant wait to go myself
This channel just keeps getting better and better. There are probably millions of pictures and videos of Giza and yet somehow this video still manages to present this historic site in a unique and more realistic way when compared to everything else. It's also nice not getting the stereotypical UA-cam nonsense that the other travel channels have (e.g. click-bait titles, host yelling at you to subscribe/buy crap, most of the content being nothing more than the hosts face with the interesting content in the background and barely visible, etc.).
MassivE!! Double thumbs up. Love the map at the beginning. It really establishes the location well. The walk is fantastic and I"m so glad you went early before the tours show up. It's so calm and relaxing to see this almost by yourself. Just a treat to see something that is so famous but so foreign. I like that the tour group gives a great sense of scale too. Great tour. -Henry
Sphinx is the most interesting thing on Earth to me. This is a wonderful video. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful, calm (and steady!) tour...
What a great video! Thanks for taking me on your wonderful adventure.
Hey, no problem. Happy to take you along.
The silence was awesome, and the video clearly gives you a sense of the grandeur and immensity of this incredible place. My only annoyance was with the factoids that were continually disrupting the sense of peace that this video beautifully emits. That said, and after had visited Giza a few different times myself, this video is nearly perfect. Thanks...
Hey Gary, I have been meaning to post it up again without the captions and titles. There seems to be enough interest that it would probably be worth it. Just give me a little time. Thanks for watching!
I disagree - I like seeing the facts - it helps me understand the place...
@@ProWalks Yes please! It would be great to have a pure ASMR walk-with-me footage without the tips. Thank you for your work!
Nice. It’s like being there, especially without annoying elevator music added. One reason that I like these walking tours. Appreciate the brief text telling us where we are, too.
thank you so much for this walking tour! you provide a totally different perspective than the normal videos where they focus on one aspect ie. mummy etc.... this gives a real feel for magnificence of the giza plateau 🌷
Nice to see theses amazing places..well presented too with the silent approach..good style.
Lovely gold sands and stone...stunning.
Thanks for the tour.
