“The big one” looks totally different then it did at the metro centre. Absolutely loved it in the metro centre with the tunnels glad it’s still getting used and enjoyed by the public
As you went up the first lift hill and you went through a dark tunnel with strobe lights and glow in the dark scary faces. Rumours at school that snakes lived in the tunnel and would bite you! Picked up some speed when you're sat in the back, go through a cloud of smoke and out of the wall / tunnel into the first drop. Felt intense as anything at the age of 6! I feel old...

Great video. Lovely to see the old Metroland roller coaster still in operation. Remember going on that when I was younger. Such good times. Miss it still to this day and for many years to come.

I know I'm really late but last time I went there all those goats were babies and they were running around everywhere. There was a black one that was following us everywhere.

Loved Charlotte and the baby goat. It looked to me he wasn’t trying to eat her tee shirt but to get her to take it off, the cheeky monkey! I think she needs a pet goat to make her happy. Nice vlog on unusual park in Devon. Would love some Devon clotted cream. Yum!

OMG!!..you found her ...for years i wondered what happened to the coaster from metroland which as a kid i used to ride loads..it was yellow and red back then..and i bet it was in fantastic condition due to it being indoors.when they got it..well i never...thankyou :-0

Charlotte should live on Bonaire. We have goats (and donkeys) walking freely on our island.
I have a lovely story to share with you guys, this afternoon I had a family in our shop, we where chatting about their holiday and they said they were going to Camel Creek tomorrow, I told them they should watch your vlog from there. without missing a beat they said they had already seen it and they were big fans, and I quote "but we wont be petting the goats!! by now I'm sure they will know of the well behaved goats at The big sheep!! Hats off to both of you :)

Have you guys ever done watermouth castle? Also local in north devon, Sadly its remaining closed all this year but it's a fantastic family theme park with a difference! No rollercoasters but plenty of other rides and so interesting!!
We’ve not however we hope to near year!
Omg grew up living in Devon so went big ship often, woolly jumper is my fav in the ship race cos he’s called the donkey 😂
The last time I went to The big sheep 🐑 was in 2002 and I don't even remember it 😮

Grow up from 02:42-02:58! 🐐. Or knock it off! from 04:44-04:47. That greedy goat that chewed your shirt as either she or he thought it was a toy as my first and super silly dog called Ollie used to chew my mum’s shoes as Ollie thought they were toys. LOL. Yes a dummy at 10:05. Or The Yorkshire Dales sheep at around 26:45. Sheepy Shop, What a cool name. Keeping ewe safe. 😂 I liked the train ride on this best from 31:12-32:13. Now and again from 32:35-32:37. In the meantime, make sure you and Shawn look after yourselves and I will definitely visit Cornwall and Devon after 18 years but you and Shawn have been like Sanka from Cool Runnings when he said I love Jamaica and Jamaica loves me! What a nutcase he was. 😊

The tv temperature checks are being used primarily in Asia as things open back up, universal japan has one and both Disney parks in Tokyo are testing it out, Shanghai Disney is kinda running it but it’s still in testing. Disney world is running a new system at the springs where temperature checks are running via those shoplifter gate things you see at the supermarket but they also check for weapons and whatever. Its located just exiting the parking garages and you won’t notice them at all because they look like nothing just a quick slide through a guide path. But they still do the temperature gun as a backup just in case.

While you have been through the UK, me and my friend did a French coaster Mega trip. This time, days 4-5, we visited three amusement parks. The three parks were all unknown territory for us, but in the last park we would meet some old acquaintances in the form of two roller coasters from Nigloland.
-Day 4:
The first day, as we started preparations, we drove into our first amusement park, Kingoland. When we arrived at Kingoland it was immediately apparent that this would be a neat and tidy park. This year, the park opened its new Gold Rush roller coaster, which was another reason to stop here. When we walked through the entrance, and therefore also saw the entrance square, we immediately noticed that this park pays a lot of attention to decoration.
The park's first rides had a racing theme, such as the special Warm up mill. There we already warmed up to explore the rest of the park.
Later, we arrived at our first roller coaster of the day, and the smallest in the park, Speed Chenille. This is a Powered Coaster built by Soquet, a builder you will encountered alot in France. The roller coaster is neither the fastest nor the highest, but it is good for a few rounds of pure fun.
Our next attraction immediately became another roller coaster, this time the Apollo Steamrocket. This Pinfari Zyklon Coaster looks very standard on paper, but when you see the amount of decoration, you are almost stunned. The queue goes through several buildings, full of steampunk objects and various inventions. The ride itself is quite rough, but pleasant. I had a bit of a Baron 1898 feeling with the theming, a feeling that was reinforced by the well-known Efteling music that was played here.
Of course this park has more than a few roller coasters in its portfolio. I was thrilled to see the park's Huss Enterprise, one of my personal favorite flat rides. Gravity gave a shorter ride than we are used to, but something like that continues to enjoy us.
On our way, we also came across a walkthrough haunted house. The La Maison Hanée turned out to be much larger than I could imagine from the outside, but the scenes are more of fairground quality. Still, it is nice to try it out.
Finally, we arrived at our last roller coaster in this park, Gold Rush. A new acquisition that bought the park from the English amusement park, Gulliver's Milton Keynes. This roller coaster is located in a Western area that was again very nicely decorated. The queue takes you through rocks and fun themed objects.
Besides the roller coaster we took place in the boats of the Log Flume, Timber Splash. This water attraction had a nice drop that made you a bit wet, but we found the course a bit long and unfortunately also boring. Some theme objects along the way could brighten these up.
Our last attraction was Old West Shooting. Here you have to aim for targets as you drive through scenes. This is a quite entertaining attraction for a younger crowd.
And so it was time to say goodbye to Kingoland, who pleasantly surprised me by the decoration and cosiness. This is certainly a park that I will certainly return to one day.
The second park on this day was Parc des Naudières. Here we mainly stopped to try out the roller coaster, Roller Coaster, a Zierer Force 2 to add it to our credit list. A nice family coaster, but not a high flyer.
For the rest of the park, it was mainly intended for young children. I noticed this during a walk along the attractions. For example, you can find some water toys and random children's attractions that are scattered around the wooded domain. You will also find a lot of toys here.
We visited another attraction here known as the Luge. This is a cross between a kind of slide and a toboggan run. You have to push the gondola upwards yourself. This is followed by a course through a kind of slide with many curves. The Luge is fun to try out when you are in the park.
In conclusion, Parc des Naudières could not really convince us, it is rather a children's park where the youngest can let off steam, but there is little to do for +12 year olds.
-Day 5:
After preprations to leave our hotel and a fun little drive, we arrived at Parc De La Vallée. We mainly knew Parc De La Vallée from the news reports, because they bought two old roller coasters from the French Nigloland. For the rest, the park is very family oriented and contains a water playground.
We immediately hit the road in search of our first roller coaster. Magic Pomme is the park's newest attraction, but an old acquaintance to us. This Big Apple roller coaster had to make way for the roller coaster Noisette Express in Nigloland. We cannot tell much about Magic Pomme, only that it was mainly just another Big Apple on our counter and one of the many of entusiates would ride in their life time.
Our next stop was also an old acquaintance from Nigloland, namely Bobsleigh. This creation by Schwarzkopf turned out to be rougher than I expected, but we forgive this old man for that.
And so we had one more roller coaster to go, named Grand Canyon. This roller coaster is also a “special”. This small roller coaster was the only one of its kind left out of a model which built by the Japanese company Togo and is actually not much more than an oversized Sunkid Butterfly. A pullcart pulls the gondola up a slope and releases it, so that the gondola rides back and forth between the two spikes. Not really a high flyer, but secretly fun enough to make several rides.
This park also has a copy of the Luges, a kind of plastic toboggan run. You got quite a tough ride on this.
In conclusion, Parc De La Vallée is also a very family park that has a somewhat strange layout. The attractions are nicely arranged at the front of the park among the trees and lawns, but extend via a path along the rocks and next to a large lake. This path also comes to a dead end, so you cannot really make a round along the lake. Due to the green character of the park, we found it quite pleasant, but the park still lacks a real highlight that could tempt us to visit several times.
