I can only imagine that alien intelligence, is rather concerned about finding xenonaut codenames for their various species consisting of just a dollar value.
Fortunately it does look like our revenue from salvage is spiking significantly with these newer ships. Should help with getting more Phantoms in circulation, so we can just relegate the Angels to the off-sites - or maybe just retire them entirely. :)
Commander, you really need to avoid stacking your troops. Wraiths love it when you do that.. I have seen them "run out into open terrain" to throw a grenade on a group of 2.. and they have very good range...
Thanks for the episode, mighty brave of you to tempt RNG when its known to be fickle =) . Side note have you seen the game Our Adventurer Guild, it seems right up your alley!
I think I had it on my watch list a few months ago, but ended up dropping it because I was put off by the anime aesthetic. I do see they've got pretty solid reviews since launch, though. Might give it a closer look if I can find the time. :)
Looks so easy when he does it, he must have been doing these things for years, imagine the face of the Alien commander seeing what raider has done to his cruiser :D
Pegasus carries 16, imagine what the last mission is going to be if you need 16 troops. 12 troops is awesome compared to 9, I like 3 fire teams of 4 (1 hvy/1 sniper/2inf) this allows teams to cover 3 areas at once instead of all moving together.
You aren't very near to the build end. There are still 2 weapon upgrade levels and 1 better Interceptor and Drop ships too. Along with new modules and armour types. Plenty of new stuff to go. I reached the end of the current build myself. Again.
@@SilencerGDA Good to know! We do still need to end the series at some point, so it'll probably be shortly after the notification. But I'll at least try to make sure we finish all the research projects first. :)
Technically the Tactical Breach Wizards vid was in the now-empty BG3 slot. :) But no, I generally consider the Thursday and Saturday slots to be "crumple zones" if I start falling behind schedule and production is at risk of going off the rails. In this particular case, we had two extra-long XN2 eps that required extra production time, followed by an untimely power outage, which necessitated skipping a slot to get things back on-track.
@@TheArklyte Sadly, no. The series was struggling for months before I finally pulled the plug. If anything, I kept it running much longer than I should have - but I was having fun, so I kept giving it more chances. To put it into perspective, Rogue Trader is starting to struggle a little, and its still getting about twice the numbers BG3 was. Xenonauts 2 is getting about triple. That said, I do hope to return to BG3 every once in a while. I just can't afford to keep doing it on a regular basis.
I don't have it posted anywhere, though I really should figure something out for that at some point. :P That said, you *are* on it. I've got you listed as "Gallowglass" and you're not too far from the top now. :)

@@RetconRaiderI’m fine having to wait. If I can get in as Nobody that would be nice, I don’t want to be picky but I’d like to get my hands onto a shotgun if possible, but I understand if that doesn’t suit whatever rng chooses for stats

Pretty much, yeah. :P More seriously, though, it's because this particular build is very stingy on funding and we're having a hard time affording the things we need. Live-captures are worth significantly more than corpses.
It seems to hold a very tenuous balance, hinging on how kind or cruel the RNG decides to be at any given moment. If we'd been a little closer when the enemy came out of the ship, for example, or last time around when that one random Seb teleported in and immediately shot Rook before any reaction shots triggered. While this particular outing was largely in our favor (user error aside), I could definitely see one bad turn causing an entire mission to go south.
Compared to what? Are you the guy, who doesn't play the game, but suggest all the new nerfs for devs, like making grenade launchers shoot perpendicular to the direction they're aimed at?
@@Jompabompa it’s still early access, and as more patches come out there will probably be changes in difficulty. I just use the angels as pure missile boats now, all torpedo for the bigger crafts on interdiction for my base.
It’s happened more than once
Do they do enough to actually take UFOs down? It feels like their hull values are escalating too quickly for just missiles and torpedos to handle.
