The first tractor I ever drove was a Oliver 770 when I was growing up on the farm dad had two of them and one super 77. Nice to see the Oliver 770 at work.
@@garybarrett6581 I remember somebody went with Dad to go get the cab but I didn't know who it was. I tried to see if I can go and not go to school that day but that was a no. How is it going with you Gary?
@@michaelsheeder148 also it seems like we went to Orange city to get the cab cant remember the name of the cab company. retired and waiting to get a hip replacment this summer.
You shouldn't have moved the drawbar because that changes your line of draft. The furrow tires need moved out so it pulls straight with the drawbar centered.

I learned to plow, disc, and plant on a 770. Also learned how to bale hay and pull the corn picker with the same tractor. Sure do miss grandpa's 770.

Yeah once it started raining, the field grew to 5 miles long it seemed 😄
One I was a kid dad drove to Charles City Iowa to get a cab for his Oliver 770.

I have the chance to buy a 770 with loader for 2000 it cranks but won't fire should I get it
Don’t seem to bad of a deal. When’s the last time it ran?
@@WisconsinOliverNut from the pictures not that long ago
Seems like it would be an easy fix, but no guarantees. If it ran not long ago, I’m sure it’s a carb rebuild or sanding the points away from running
Move tongue a little to left on plow to correct your center of draft.
Thanks for the tip!

Agreed. But wasn’t going to go through that as I was using different plows
Move the drummer on the plow not on the tractor
You mean the hitch?
