Note: You're actually supposed to not put a kid in the seat with a heavy jacket on. So instead of loosening the belts, take the jacket off and put the jacket over top to keep them warm if its winter.
This was very informative however he mentioned adjusting shoulder straps because of wearing a coat/jacket.... Absolutely never ever should they be wearing a coat/jacket while being strapped in ! Thx 😌
Great review. Will definitely get this one. If I can give one constructive criticism, I would say that you could have used a table or a more stable place to hold the seat. My OCD was acting up when I looked at the seat above the crib the whole time. :)
Elena Burger no way. The finish on the Sleepi is pretty tough. That one has been put together and taken apart several times and it’s no worse for wear.
Hi @Clueless_Dad, I need your advice. Does it have very bad backrest support? When I checked it in the shop I was shocked. Very thin material on the backrest and then plastic reels which are using for goes up and down headrest.
Here's a question: My son is only 30 lbs but I can barely get the crotch clicked. I have run out of the extra belt at the bottom on the car seat. Surely there is another way to loosen the belts??
sorry for my late reply. I don't remember for this exact seat, but there may be more than one set of holes for the shoulder straps to go through that would make it fit better. also keep in mind that you're recommended not to try to strap in a kid with lots of bulky winter clothes on, so if you take off heavier jackets they should fit better (and either keep the car extra warm or put the jacket on top of them once belted in....)
Thanks for your comment. It really depends on the type of car you're putting into. In a mini-van it wasn't a problem at all. In the back of a 2 door car, definitely a bit of a pain! But the high sides are definitely a good thing, they'll protect better in case of a side impact accident.
You cannot only use the LATCH system with this seat, once your child hits 35 pounds you have to use the seatbelt. LATCH only holds so much weight, read you manual it is in there.
Yes, I think you can pivot the seat while the kid is in it, since it just adjusts the base, the straps should be ok.... maybe undo the harness first to be safe.

Cursing on the child car seat video!!! I like this guy! Good review!

He did state that in a comment

Ha. Thanks for the feedback! Yes I definitely need a table. It's hard to film in my small guest room!

Elena Burger ha. I did a video on that too!
hahaha :)
This is the best video I’ve seen !
Thanks! The best comment I've ever gotten! ;-)

Very easy to assemble.

Pls how easy is it to put and remove your baby from the carseat considering the high sides of the seat. Thank you
Thanks for your comment.

I'm 5 feet tall and I have a small SUV. I have to stand on my tippy toes to get my son in the car seat.

Can you recline the seat with the kid in there?
