I stopped buying things from Super 7 a long time ago. I have been disappointed with everything that I have ordered from them. Their QC is consistently bad.
Yeah, It’s a mixed bag with these guys. Their products are over priced. They’re really good at grabbing licenses, but they really can’t follow through with the product. There’s a lot of other independent toy companies that are really doing a better job. Example, boss fight studios and fresh monkey. I’m definitely looking to phase out my super7 purchases.
I appreciate it. I’m just really bummed out about super7’s female figures. I still have about 10 hours to decide whether I’m going to get the new Conan wave.
Thank! I wish these were better but they’re not. I sold them and picked up the VAC metal versions. But I’m afraid to open those because the paint will flake off.
I already sold them to my local comic shop. I did buy the new Vac metal ones. But I’m afraid to take them out of the box so as to avoid the paint from rubbing off. Over the years I bought a lot from super7 and overall the quality is just not there. I am winding down.
Hey Novus! Yes, as you can see, these little plastic things give me so much happiness! Seeing batman again tonight, (sorry Flash) probably do a review.
Quicksilver's head is too big. And Steelheart looked off even in the promotional images. Face's too round, neck is short and body should be much more sleek, figure is too round, specially the hips. This two were a huge dissapointment, first no van metal, then no accuracy, not to mention qc issues.
@@EvrydayErik Yes, crossing fingers on them not messing up those... I missed the vintage ones as a kid because they were too expensive, and though I had a couple bootlegs including a giant Quicksilver, they weren't shiny, haha. I specially liked the purplish chromy color on Steelheart, and since I intend on displaying those only with masks and extended wings, I can overlook the cartoon inaccuracies. But, I'm sure they'll mess it up like with Thundercats, lol.
Yeah, steel heart really bugs me. I don’t know why they always look different than the promotional mock ups. They claim they get production samples to approve, but it doesn’t look like it.

It’s like super7 hates women. I hate all the female characters they do. They ruin them all. I’m going to buy a few more to wrap up my collections and I’m done.
Respect to your statements. I’m just not seeing what you’re saying is horrible. This looks like the TV character I enjoyed growing up. I do hope for more waves in the future. This line is what I’ve been waiting for!
So, Super7 totally changed the color on Quicksilver from the samples shown by Super7 on Shartimus’s video. I’m undecided on that one. But still heart has had her body changed from the promo shot. Super seven does this with all their female figures. They have nice womanly figures in the photographs, but when you get them in hand, the wastes are much wider, and so are the hips compared to the shoulders. It just doesn’t look like the cartoon body. Plus her face is way off and ugly. But that’s par for the course or super sevens females.
hey eric, are you into Godzilla? cause the super7 ultimate are getting ready to ship, and from the in package shots they actually don't look to bad lmao, keep up the good work tho on the vids

From a fellow fan here. Just be happy we got some nice Silverhawks figures overall. Quicksilver is a dull grey most episodes. Buzzsaw looks cool enough. The Monstarr arm sucks and I would not blame you if you return it. I get where you are coming from but I just see things differenly.I get everyone wanted them shiny like the original toys as well but they explained that.
Yeah, it’s cool they are made. But these are grossly overpriced, and I never get a shipment without some QC issue. I gave them a lot of money over the years, but I’m running out of patience very quickly.

They should have made higher quality figures with chrome paint and way better sculpting. Then after the chrome release, release these cartoon versions? Almost no one is going to buy the wave 2 because the wave is not going to stick. As far as marketing goes it was a terrible idea.
Super7’s business model is to make the the version Nobody wants first, pocket the money, and then crawl their way to the version Everybody wanted in the first place.

@@EvrydayErik Well, it's the same sculpts but with vac metal, but they do look better. I saw they were a lot more delicate than the vintage Kenner figures. I truly believe super7 mocks its customers. We wanted metallic looking Silverhawks and they made them extremelly plain, because "that's what they look in the cartoon", which is completely false; then instead of making them with metallic paint and/or diecast (e.g. like the Saint cloth myth line) after the criticism, they went for vac metal "because that's what people asked for", which again, is false, people wanted metallic looking ones, not specifically vac metal. And even then, they couldn't even get the colors right... Quicksilver is a lot darker and Steelheart is too purple. They should've known better and released shiny ones since the beginning, but they just don't care because customers are extremelly lenient to their unaccurate, overpriced figures with quality control issues.
