John talks about the right way to do things in government but the government system has many vested interests that do not allow pragmatic or logical governance it was designed with only two main priorities which were to maintain the elitist rule and to control the people, the rest is decoration with rigid controls preventing pragmatic governance . New ideas can be put forward but that also is dependent on outside controls as seen in the ideas of Liz Truss was not liked by the international financial markets . The control of the people can be seen in the lightning quick reaction to the riots including emptying some prisons in order to quickly put revolting rioters but we have had many riots before much worse but no such actions.
