- Did a little jetty surf fishing in Ft Pierce Florida and I tried targeting Jack Crevalle with heavier surf gear to no avail but luckily got on a nice little light tackle smorgasbord bite catching a decent Snook, little Jack Crevalle, and a nice size Mutton Snapper on the Fishaholic Shad!

Florida fishing is always a blast to watch. Nice video man!
Fort pierce is my home town, beautiful beaches and the fishing is awesome.
Nice job man, that jetty is really heavily fished, so no surprise there. This time of year the snook have transitioned from their summertime spawning areas offshore, back to the rivers and flats. Your best bet is to find some flats near deeper water, or structure in the rivers. Snook will usually run for deeper water during cold snaps like we're having now, so they're never too far away. Keep up the good work dude!
Its cool the narrative you do while fishing at the same time... nice the explanations of diferent maners to work the baits... great job dude!
You worked hard and stuck with it. Makes the prosperous days that much better. Thanks for the ride along.
when your stuck on something try to angle yourself right towards it, pull your pole back to gain tension and than flip the lever to release your string that sometimes sends it back and gets it unstuck. nice video
Great camera angle Rich, you can really see how you work the plug & shad, tempo, twitches to the rod etc. Bonus watching you catch fish AND show some tips and tricks on how you work the lures.
Great video. I excited to check out Fort Pierce Inlet parking this weekend for some fishing fun. Love me some snook action
Love the Florida series bro, especially the kayak inshore.
I caught a fairly nice permit on that jetty last year. Tons of diversity . Probably my favorite area of Florida to fish. Will be back there hopefully later this year when I get back stateside. Good video man!
I can’t believe you were literally 15 min up the street from my house would love to help you out and maybe fish with you if your still in the area
I get excited to see your videos !
How you hold the camera is amazing. The point of view. Great video man.
Can’t slay’em all the time. Great video.👍👍
Nice catches will try the inlets. Thanks
That swim bait is on 🔥🔥.. Fish on🎣👊🏻
Cool video. Thanks. I like the Montauk reference
Now that’s what you call fishing 🎣 fun times would love to come out there and have a go
Thanks Dave! Hopefully next time I'll catch one of them big Jack Crevalle
I’ve caught big snooks and ‘cudas on that Lixada popper. One of the best poppers in the market, it works perfectly.
Lol nice to see your human after all. Good to know I’m not the only one getting snagged on the bottom and losing lures. It may sound strange but I enjoy some of your videos when you don’t catch all the time, it keeps it real
Fun video for sure. Maybe the Snook are transitioning to warmer water areas. I'm enjoying this series.
You need to hit the Jetty Lounge drive thru and get one of their rum runners to go. Classic! You should do a dive video in the inlet where you lost the lures along with everyone else and restock your supply.
Good job with te mutton rich💪
Thanks Greg Tight Lines!!
Love Fort Pierce for fishing!
You taught me so much!
I love full fishing vidios
I lived near there for years, it’s a very hit or miss spot and only the bottom at Sebastian inlet matches how annoying it can be but there are massive fish in there. They are there but it is heavily fished and they’re wise to it. You actually did quite well.
Great video dude
Nice video bro! I was expecting some action on popper but next time better luck. Cheers!
Lol was watching on my switch and came all the way over here 😭😭😭 you let
Him get away lol
another dope vid! im hoping to get some traveling done soon aswell!
Thanks 🤙🏻 and good luck catch em up!!
great video bro,beautiful spot
Nice footage 🤙🔥
Hell yeah there is always next time . I can not wait till March will start getting the big bass back in of the pier i fish in uk 🇬🇧 southsea with fishing lures good times put up a good fight
Nice bro.👍👌
Good trick i learned for stuck lures is to reel down on it hold the line once its tights hold the line with ur index n then open bail n finger which release the tension making the lure sorta pop out n free the hook works for me a lot
I caught my pb redfish along those rocks, super fun place to fish
Nice job . Miss Montauk ( the end ) striped bass fishing under the light house .
Nice vidéo bro 👍
Hey Rich. You opened the vid with a comment, you're a little tired. Triggered a question: how's your back doing?
Take care of yourself amigo. We appreciate you. Your time on the shore and along the jetties teaching me valuable stuff. No worries from me and I'm sure many others seeing you off the yak from time to time. Be well. Cheers.
My backs good lol lifting that kayak off the car frequently can be tiring though believe me. But with anticipation of catch a nice fish on film gives me some energy!!
Nice mutton!
My home turf, just found the channel🤙🏽
Verry nice fight bro.
Cool channel man
exelente video amigo buenas capturas saludos desde la ciudad de México 👍
Agus de pesca busca @mesillasoutdoors nosotros somos de Nayarit, Mexico y vivimos en Florida tenemos vídeos de pesca y casaría de venado
5:57 that moment when I go crazy..getting stuck on the rock..
Good job bud. Those are some beauties
Thanks Adam 🤙🏻tight lines!!
I'm from a few hours north of there but I'm sure that inlet is off the chain during the fall mullet run. You would kill huge jacks with that topwater plug
Snagged up...That's Reel Fishing!
Should have tried fishing the oposite side, inside the channel you’ll get snagged up A LOT! North Causeway bridge right under neath that bridge before crossing is where the action is, also Harbor Pointe if you get lucky 🤙🏼
Those are some tasty looking fish 😋😋😋
I caught a baby bluegill earlier in my backyard, and then a peacock shows up out of nowhere and i almost pooped my pants (not literally, ofc)
I’ve straight up left after breaking off twice in a row like that! Lol. I was pissed.
Like the weekly vids! I assume you tying the broad right to the leader ( which knot) ?
Fishing buddy. Take care bro
This video made me subscribe
Lol me and my pops was just fishing there it’s some big snooks over there
awesomee!!!!!!
Hi mate! Thanks for the vid. So do you suggest to start with top water lures till we end with bottom water ones?
Waooow Kreeenn mister 👍👍❤️
Cranking out the content!
Nice 👍🏼
Nice bro
Man how early was you out there? I’ve never seen the jetty that empty
Hair jig with fat cow strip worked well when went their last October
Nice!! 👍🏻
Nice 👍👍👍
good video😊
Wowwww..... great
You ever wanna fish some rough stuff with big poppers come to Hawaii 🤙
How does that rod handle the heavier plugs ? I have the 7’ version mh , still yet to try it out
Gotta try the zing pow to get those snags off.
Nice friend
Nice to see you in a new video 👍😀Keep it up buddy 👍
Nice video. What's the name of your boots? Is that cover over apart of the boots?
I've been to fort pierce inlet before. Not a place for the kayak. Current gets to be 5knt. Almost got sucked out into high surf but a boat rescued me. Night time jig fishing for snook with nighthawks jigs is another way the locals do it. I tryed it. But, I didn't bottom structure or contour. So, I just kept getting stuck. If i had to do it again I would hire a guide to teach me to jigg, if there is such a thing as a shore guide there.
What kind of roof and reel set up is that love the rod
lovely
Nice
You know you really like to fish, when you haven't had a bite in hours, but you're still there...
That’s were my family lives. Like you videos
Thanks dude 🤙🏻
Flair Hawk!
You should’ve fished on that other side i always fish there its called fort pierce inlet state park the snook is everywhere there and tarpon
Nice vid! What size reel is that tsunami?
early in the day I believe water is too cold for most fish and you should slow down . it looked like a rocket . I believe in general when it is wavy and windy the fish can not hear as well because of all the waves and they move down to stay in calmer water so top float or top water is not a good choice . There is always exceptions because I had a shark attack my bait when it way 5 inches above water so it is possible to catch fish without having your bait touch the water lol .
Great video just like always..
Mate I need halp I can't make up my mind between the shimano stradic 5000 fl 2019 or the penn slammer 3 4500 which one makes the best for inshore saltwater popping and jigging..
If you were me which would pick up..
Thanks keep the great vids coming 🎣👍
I’ve never used the Stradic personally but have heard good things and the same for the Penn Slammer. But I would go into a shop and try it on which ever rod you want to pair it with and then get what ever feels more comfortable
@@FishAholicTV. They problem isthat iam from North America libya and I order my takle from amazon anyway.. so Thanks again for your quick reply and your advice...
This the spirit of ture Angler
When will you start selling your own Jigs? Definitely would be interested in buying some👏🏾
12:34 sec I’ll never get back
Question , what was the first set up you were using in the video the bigger sett up
Florida fhising. 👍
What kinda of reels and rods do you have in this video ? And what length ? Power ? Tips ?
Here in Belize we say mutton or nothin🎣
I live in fort Pierce 4 over 30 years I know just about every hotspot there and that place is one of them one of my top favorites to go my second favorite was the South big bridge you crossed over they had a cat walk under there that got torn down I hopefully they are putting it back soon but definitely fishing in fort Pierce is a pleasure nice video Happy fishing mission on
In the first part of the video. Where were you fishing from?
Those rocks is unforgiving on lures The bite-frenzy pops off at dawn on feathers for snook. Mid day is mostly bait. I use a 1/8oz crappie jig at the very end of rocks and catch everything from lookdowns to muttons. Something to do when its slow.
I met local that did that. He was catching snook on them at the dock lights. Would loose most because of "crappie hook" but, if you where to tye your own with better hooks I bet success would be better.
@@jeffknowles3952 His name is Geo. taught me the tricks those rocks. One day he caught 3 slots in my face on walmart jigs/bass combo. Comes out to put on a show.
are, are unforgiving...
@@jeffknowles3952 lose, lose most... loose is less tight.
there some spillways around there if you want to fish them , they got some big snook in them and they bite all day
Peyton Lake yeah but they’re fished a lot too
Caleb Bellizio true , but I usually do good
How do you rig so you can make that lure swap at like 8 mins 30 secs in?
What's the first top water lure your using?
Rod shows up nice on camera
You ever fish for bass on the fin back?
What was the first set up you were using rod and reel
