    This actually helped me more than those videos that overwhelm us with scenarios that aren't happening. Thanks!

    Straight to the point. No effing about. It doesn’t look scary as I thought! Thank you! Saved to my MSFS playlist.

    In the FBW you still have to use FPA mode, but will be helpful for inibuilds, and, in the future, FBW.

    I love RNAV even more so than landing the plane myself. It’s super satisfying when you’re landing using RNAV.

      What do you mean? RNAV is an approach type which ends up with a visual approach. It won't bring you to the runway itself.

      @@TiJayFLY because he said that he likes RNAV landings more than his landings like RNAV has a type of autoland xd

    Thanks a bunch for RNAV. I love your each flights and tutorials.
    I hope you to show me the RNAV approach and landing to LOWI Rwy 08 or 26, cuz it sucks me up. XD

      IIRC that one only takes you near the runway and you have to fly the rest by hand?

    Nice vid thanks. I'm really struggling to get the A320nx FBW version to execute RNAV/RNP approaches at my local AU regional airports using LNAV and VNAV guidance. When I asked about it in the forums they tell me RNAV is not yet supported in any versions. Your video suggests otherwise. I often find the aircraft sailing over the runway at 2000ft and I can't activate the APPR button.
    So either the FBW A320nx is not yet fully compatible for VNAV descents or I'm missing something in the MCDU when importing from Simbrief. Do you need to 'activate' the approach before the IAF or FAF or should it kick in automatically?

    • @TiJayFLY
      @TiJayFLY  Рік тому +1

      This video is for the payware Fenix A320 not the FBW, if that helps? :)
      But no, as long as the plane supports it, you don’t need to do anything except hit APPR near the glide slope

      @@TiJayFLY Thanks for the explanation TiJay. I thought you mentioned a few times in the vid that it was applicable to both FBW and Fenix A320 aircraft. Appreciate the clarification 👍

      @@max_dee agh sorry, that one is on me! I should have added a caveat “it’s the same process, provided the add on actually supports RNAV”

  • @Stianpilot

    So you don’t need to put in any Frequency for the runway?

    • @TiJayFLY
      @TiJayFLY  5 місяців тому +1

      No, RNAV is entirely internal guidance
