Words can't do justice how brilliantly they've done with this moment for Daniel and Robby also i too would really love robby to win the tekai he deserves the trophy
This whole scene with getting Daniel back in the fight had me balling especially when I rewatched it. Truly heart felt, and it’s just crazy to see the growth in these characters from s1, I definitely have to rewatch the whole entire thing from the beginning for the nostalgia. Love this show with everything in me!
One of the best moments from the entire show. The ending scene of this episode gives me chills, every single time i watch it! If there is another big win on this show, Robby deserves it. He's earned that win by this point. Finally him winning by the end of the show after losing all along, with all his loved ones by his side especially his dad would be one of the best thing to happen on this show. Johnny & Robby have always been on the opposite sides every tournament, it's their turn to get that win. It would hold so much more weight and emotional impact than any other character winning in my opinion.
This literally almost brought tears to my eyes, seeing Robby come back to the light, didn't let Cobra Kai brainwash him, like it did to the others, seeing him & Daniel make amends and forgive each other is what they both needed, Robby never really had a hatred towards Daniel, because everytime Daniel would confront him, he will think about what Daniel has told him, because it's true, he really does need to come back to Miyagi Do, and I'm glad that he did come back to Miyagi Do, and finally see him bury the hatchet between him & Miguel, him & Hawk is all gone, and let's hope that Tory joins Miyagi Fang, because it's only right, it's about that time that everybody come together and take down the bigger threat, and I'm glad that Tory left Cobra Kai for good, can see Devon following Tory, now Kenny, don't know what he is going to do, but I do see him trying to make amends with Robby & apologize to Anthony big time
Oh man to I relate as a SW fan. I didnt even finish the last episode of Kenobi because I found myself so apathetic towards the characters that have meant so much to me growing up. I love Robby's character, and his relationship with Daniel is my favorite part of the first two seasons. Seeing all the characters come together to support Daniel as his very lowest point just gave me all the warm fuzzies. I think Robby winning the Sekei Taikai would be perfect, it would be very narratively satisfying and Robby has now trained under every sensei except Kim, it makes sense that he would have the most accumulative skills of all of them. He needed to be away from Daniel to be able to mend his relationship with Johnny, but seeing him finally acknowledge and return like the prodigal son to the man who took him in, helped his mom, and gave him a chance at a good life just melted me. Daniel cares for Robby so much and Robby having a good relationship with his dad, but still returning to Miyagi-Do shows a lot of character development for all three of them. Gosh I love this show. This level of downright competent screenwriting SHOULD NOT BE HARD.

I was thrilled to see Robby back in Miyagi-do where BELONGS. He was the perfect person to convince Daniel to go back to Miyagi-Do do as he was the person that inspired him to start teaching Miyagi-Do in S1. And it was heartwarming....BUT...one short n sweet scene and not even a hug? After waiting since season 3 for these two to reconnect? That was a little disappointing for me. Especially as it's their only interaction in the whole season. I think the characters deserved more. Compared to the amount of screen time that's always devoted to Miguel and Johnny. Daniel was also a father figure to Robby not just mentor/Sensei. He saw the good in Robby and his potential long before Johnny or anyone else. He was pretty much Robbys first real friend too. Instead of and off screen conversation with Sam telling him about Daniel, I'd like to have seen Robby's shock and upset and hearing about the condition that Daniel was in. Or better yet, he could have gone to Larusso auto to apologize to him as part of his making amends...and is shocked to see his appearance and demeanor. They could've had a longer conversation and Robby brings him back to Miyagi-do. Honestly they could've skipped some of the cringey teen romance stuff and given us a little more Daniel and Robby instead 😜 Robby and Daniel in S1 are what hooked me on the show. I love the chemistry with Ralph and Tanner. Now that I've got that out of my system, I'll end on a positive! i loved the 🙏 and breathing nod to Daniel/Karate Kid 2 when Robby was eating the chilli's. 😊 Miyagi-do is always a part of Robby, no matter where he is. ♥️
Episode 6 was definitely an episode that brought tears of joy to my eyes. Johnny and Chozen fighting together to avenge Daniel. Robby reuniting with Daniel. Then Samantha getting everyone together to tell her father that they're all in the fight together. Seeing Johnny outside letting Daniel know that he's all in on Myagi dojo. What an emotional moment. Johnny has definitely come a long way since season 1. Makes me proud of his character development 👍
This scene got me because it also brougth back some mr miyagi and yes it brougth back Rooby to Daniel . I alsp hope it opens Daniels eye a bit on who his real son is maybe with some help of Robby .

Also random theory but I have a feeling that Robby was named after Rocky Balboa.It’s ‘cause of that one part in s5 e8 where Johnny says that Rocky Balboa is his hero,and Rocky’s real name is Robert “Rocky” Balboa.Robby’s full name is Robert Swayze Keene. So when you think about it,it makes sense,at least to me.

10:11-10:24 I'm still holding onto Robby being the one that actually can and will defeat Miguel too, due to season 1. As you said, keeping each other on their toes. It's too boring if it's just one definitively over the other.
Also I agree that Robby should should win Sekai Taiki. A Lawrence winning for Miyagi-do is very poetic. And imagine "you're alright Lawrence". (Assuming he changes his name for the tournament lol). The others have all had their turns. They weakened Robby a bit, fight wise, for plot in S5. He beat all the cobras on his own in S4. But this season Kenny winded him and he needed help to fight them off? Same with Hawk. I get that is the nature of these shows you do get plot and plot armour. But sometimes it's hard to watch Robby keep on losing in fights because technically Tanner is better at martial arts than the people his character is losing to. I've seen several real life senseis reacting to the fights who've said the same, that he would win a tournament in real life because he's the most accurate. Including 10th degree black belt and sensei, Daryl Vidal. (KK1). He said Tanner was the best of the young cast, most realistic in technique, stances control etc I know, I need to try and separate actor and character more with the fights 😂. While he respected Robby's wish of not visiting him in Juvie, Daniel tried calling. He actively tried to get Robby away from Kreese and Silver. He was the one who got Daniel back into karate in the first place, his first student. And Daniel definately blames himself for what Robby had to go through in Juvie. Daniel really needed to hear, that he helped his student as well.
I think Cobra Kai has given us 3 Karate Kids. Miguel, Robby and Sam. Each have their own unique story arc that could follow the original The Karate Kid trilogy in their own right. Though I can see if it weren't for Miguel and Johnny we wouldn't have this specific series.

I really don’t see how Kreese will convince any of the students to come back after the last episode when Silver was exposed for paying off the referee. Do you think Sensei Kim would bring in her students from Korea to compete in the Sekai Taikai? I really don’t see students like Kyler, Kenny, etc. coming back to Cobra Kai after the brawl at the Cobra Kai dojo. Maybe you can do a video on this? I’m curious to hear your opinion!
Has anyone realized that Robby trained with more masters than all the other characters. Everyone else either trained with 2 or 3. Robby trained with literally 5. Daniel, Kreese, Terry, Chozen, and Johnny. He has to win Sekai Tekai
The new Miguel Vs Robby fight showed Miguel was the better fighter. But honestly all throughout season 4 I felt like Robby was the most OP student in the show. And still into season 5 until he fought Miguel. Robby is still a beast.
In all honesty Robby lost in s5 because Miguel got more aggressive due to the flashbacks as they were on the balcony. Downstairs Robby was winning. I think they’re pretty even at this point.
I really liked your video I also loved that episode when Robbie came in with Daniel says I cannot fill these kids again and Robbie said you didn’t fail me that was really powerful I got pretty choked up. I didn’t think the show started till that scene with everyone joining Daniel and Robbie that’s when the show really started in season five episode six that’s when it really started. what else was pretty awesome I think it season five was all the rivalries what kind of shifted that they were all working together Johnny and Daniel Robbie and Miguel Sam and Tori in episode nine and 10 even they started talking and kind of working together at least it was a start with them. I have a question for you in season six what do you think Daniel and Johnny will call their team when they go to the big dance the big tournament. The people who I think who need to win the big tournament next year or both Samantha and Robbie that be awesome if they could win the big tournament for Miyagi doe. another part where I can’t wait to see what they do in season six is how they bring in Julie Pierce that is going to be awesome to see finally both karate kids finally talking together I cannot wait to see how she comes in to help Daniel. it’s also gonna be awesome to hear maybe some more Miyagi stories from Julie’s point of view she could tell Daniel maybe some karate techniques that she is learned that he does not know so that be pretty awesome to hear. yeah season five was really awesome but episode six was the best I think of season five way to go
I find it personally funny how Tory will probably join Eagle Fang with Miguel and Robby and Sam stay in Miyagi-do with Daniel! This scene was so spectacular with how Daniels first student comes back to help change his mind and take down Silver. Without Robby coming back I dont think this scene ever happens!
I agree about Mitch...did anyone care that Mitch flipped to Cobra Kai? Besides Bert? No!!...no offense to Aiden Minnicks (sp) but no-one was really that invested in his character. Love your Robby vids, Jacob keep em comin'

Pal, I 100% agree with you! Episode 6 was so freaken good & BEAUTIFUL! Somehow it just solidified, that ALL of the old tiresome bullshit is now DONE_with! :-) Everyone was united & it felt so damn earned! That entire sequence, from when Amanda takes Daniel into Miyagi’s “time-capsule”, till the moment they all bow to him (with THAT music!) and then ends it on the highest of high notes = Full on man-tears in streams!!! It was the exact OPPOSITE of how I felt at the mid-Season episode of S4, when Danny and Johnny split up - AGAIN! I hated it so much. This here in Season 5 was a god-send! So beautiful, powerful and EPIC. I didn’t like Robby too much in Seasons 1 and 2. He honestly felt cheasy & a bit akward, I couldn’t really place him.. Then S3 came out and he seemed to grow much more on me. In S4 I thought he was a total badass, and in S5 he became even more badass! The fact that him and Miguel are now on the same team, oh yeeeeah, it makes for one hell of a powerful Step-bro’s-duo! ;-) Ps. Yes - Get rid of Mitch, Chris and (Sorry!) Bert and Nate. All of these tiny character’s, whom really doesn’t do much, get ‘em outta there for S6. They just aren’t needed, and quite frankly they carry no weight anyways.
Cousin Louie definitely has to get with Shannon. That will definitely be comedic and complete the circle of Daniel, Johnny, Samantha, Robby and Miguel officially becoming related 👍. Oh and It will be Robby Lawrence that will win the world tournament 🙂

U know I’ve been watching for videos for almost a year lol… but respectfully I’ll have to disagree with u saying Miguel is better than Robby. For one in season 1 Robby was clearly the superior and skillful fighter anybody that’s denying that is clearly bias and Miguel knew he was losing that’s why he yanked Robby’s dislocated shoulder to get a advantage and he won the fight and people still give him that W but in season 2 when Robby basically do the same thing that Miguel did to him in season 1 which take advantage of the moment y’all still give Miguel that W but didn’t have them same reasons for Robby which Robby won that fight regardless of how he did it because in a real fight the winner is either the last person standing or somebody can’t continue the fight so Robby tied it 1-1 then in season 4 he clearly was also the better fighter in season 4 when they had that fight at prom Robby got the best of Miguel in that fight which now he is 2-1 and Robby clearly was winning the fight in season 5 until they upstairs then out of the blue he acted like he couldn’t fight no more lol due to plot reasons so Miguel got the best in him at the end so technically it’s literally 2-2 so I don’t get how u saying Miguel is superior than Robby when it’s basically tied and is equal
Agreed. Robby and Hawk got the plot treatment. They both got winded by Kenny in S5? Lol🙃. Robby beat all the cobras on his own in S4. Yet needed help in S5. Robby was Daniels number 1 student of Miyagi-Do and has Johnny Lawrences genes. Re the fight with Miguel. I felt like Robby maybe sort of pulled back, got scared and stopped when they got close to the balcony? Because of what happened in season 2. And then they had Miguel continue pounding him for a moment but then he also pulled back because he didn't want to do to Robby what Robby did to him I'm S2. I think both characters have strengths and weaknesses as fighters. Tanner however, is undoubtedly better at the karate regardless of plot. Even Xolo said he's got the best moves.

I don't know how but I'd love that the writers bring back karate's bad boy and train Robby since he has experience in national tournaments.

In all honesty Robby lost in s5 because Miguel got more aggressive due to the flashbacks as they were on the balcony. Downstairs Robby was winning. I think they’re pretty even at this point.
I really liked your video I also loved that episode when Robbie came in with Daniel says I cannot fill these kids again and Robbie said you didn’t fail me that was really powerful I got pretty choked up. I didn’t think the show started till that scene with everyone joining Daniel and Robbie that’s when the show really started in season five episode six that’s when it really started. what else was pretty awesome I think it season five was all the rivalries what kind of shifted that they were all working together Johnny and Daniel Robbie and Miguel Sam and Tori in episode nine and 10 even they started talking and kind of working together at least it was a start with them. I have a question for you in season six what do you think Daniel and Johnny will call their team when they go to the big dance the big tournament. The people who I think who need to win the big tournament next year or both Samantha and Robbie that be awesome if they could win the big tournament for Miyagi doe. another part where I can’t wait to see what they do in season six is how they bring in Julie Pierce that is going to be awesome to see finally both karate kids finally talking together I cannot wait to see how she comes in to help Daniel. it’s also gonna be awesome to hear maybe some more Miyagi stories from Julie’s point of view she could tell Daniel maybe some karate techniques that she is learned that he does not know so that be pretty awesome to hear. yeah season five was really awesome but episode six was the best I think of season five way to go

I find it personally funny how Tory will probably join Eagle Fang with Miguel and Robby and Sam stay in Miyagi-do with Daniel! This scene was so spectacular with how Daniels first student comes back to help change his mind and take down Silver. Without Robby coming back I dont think this scene ever happens!
Must likely she will joing Miyagi-Do because of Robby and find that balance she has been lacking and Daniel can help her with that.

Honestly, the fact that even just ONE person likes Season 4 more than Season 5 is beyond me.. S5 takes all previous seasons and wipes_the_fucking_floor_with_them!
Pal, I 100% agree with you! Episode 6 was so freaken good & BEAUTIFUL! Somehow it just solidified, that ALL of the old tiresome bullshit is now DONE_with! :-) Everyone was united & it felt so damn earned! That entire sequence, from when Amanda takes Daniel into Miyagi’s “time-capsule”, till the moment they all bow to him (with THAT music!) and then ends it on the highest of high notes = Full on man-tears in streams!!! It was the exact OPPOSITE of how I felt at the mid-Season episode of S4, when Danny and Johnny split up - AGAIN! I hated it so much. This here in Season 5 was a god-send! So beautiful, powerful and EPIC.
I didn’t like Robby too much in Seasons 1 and 2. He honestly felt cheasy & a bit akward, I couldn’t really place him.. Then S3 came out and he seemed to grow much more on me. In S4 I thought he was a total badass, and in S5 he became even more badass! The fact that him and Miguel are now on the same team, oh yeeeeah, it makes for one hell of a powerful Step-bro’s-duo! ;-)
Ps. Yes - Get rid of Mitch, Chris and (Sorry!) Bert and Nate. All of these tiny character’s, whom really doesn’t do much, get ‘em outta there for S6. They just aren’t needed, and quite frankly they carry no weight anyways.

U know I’ve been watching for videos for almost a year lol… but respectfully I’ll have to disagree with u saying Miguel is better than Robby. For one in season 1 Robby was clearly the superior and skillful fighter anybody that’s denying that is clearly bias and Miguel knew he was losing that’s why he yanked Robby’s dislocated shoulder to get a advantage and he won the fight and people still give him that W but in season 2 when Robby basically do the same thing that Miguel did to him in season 1 which take advantage of the moment y’all still give Miguel that W but didn’t have them same reasons for Robby which Robby won that fight regardless of how he did it because in a real fight the winner is either the last person standing or somebody can’t continue the fight so Robby tied it 1-1 then in season 4 he clearly was also the better fighter in season 4 when they had that fight at prom Robby got the best of Miguel in that fight which now he is 2-1 and Robby clearly was winning the fight in season 5 until they upstairs then out of the blue he acted like he couldn’t fight no more lol due to plot reasons so Miguel got the best in him at the end so technically it’s literally 2-2 so I don’t get how u saying Miguel is superior than Robby when it’s basically tied and is equal
Agreed. Robby and Hawk got the plot treatment. They both got winded by Kenny in S5? Lol🙃. Robby beat all the cobras on his own in S4. Yet needed help in S5.

Re the fight with Miguel. I felt like Robby maybe sort of pulled back, got scared and stopped when they got close to the balcony? Because of what happened in season 2. And then they had Miguel continue pounding him for a moment but then he also pulled back because he didn't want to do to Robby what Robby did to him I'm S2.
I think both characters have strengths and weaknesses as fighters.
Tanner however, is undoubtedly better at the karate regardless of plot. Even Xolo said he's got the best moves.

Maybe Sam and Ribby can get to win finnaly , like for Sam she trains also with Tory so in a way Tory helps Sam to win , and maybe for Robby he get to train under Chozen , because Chozen knows the complete Miyagi do .

This scene was so anti climactic for me. It was too rushed. All of Robby's key scenes were rushed this season. Why do the writers always do his character so dirty?
