I actually hope Axel and Miguel get over their love triangle beef after seeing Kwon die. That should show them there’s serious consequences and bigger things going on outside of their petty rivalry.
Axel is like a heavyweight boxer going against the lightweight division, and nobody could land a hit on him, but that will change in part 3 when both Robby and Miguel beat him .
THE CHOSEN ONE: My favorite moment of Axel is when we saw him on the beach doing that Kata in the sand in circular motion with his foot. He was so focused but at the same time calm & allowed himself to be vulnerable.
@@melissapas8474 Hi. I left you and the others a message below your newest livechat on "CK UnderGround". I have some thought and I would be interested in your opinion about it :). It has something to do with Mr Miyagi and his victim Claramunt.
In some way Axel is a sad hero. He saved all of the people in that hall from an out of control psycho who would have killed anyone who stands in his way to badly hurt or kill Robby. So Axel saved all these people from great danger and still ppl call him a monster.
@@cowboysdubs Thx. Maybe it was exactly the same with Miyagi s opponent Claramunt back in the day. That he was like Kwon, a sore lose who lost control, and Miyagi "killed" him in self defense.
@@chrisbach1533well you also have to keep in mind Axel didn’t realize Kwon was armed with the knife.. he just swept Kwon’s leg when he went for the kick.
@@Rorieking Yes I know. I didnt say Axel wanted to kill Kwon. He was only defending himself nothing more. And this block as you mentioned correctly also shows what a great battle IQ he has. These kind of kicks are technically the right block/counter to these jumping tornado kicks. Kwon wanted to kick him with his right leg, but Axel kicked Kwon s left leg away with a low kick by himself, and Kwon fell down like an helicopter who gets hit in the propeller. That wasnt a coincident but Axel knew how to counter these kicks and executed it perfectly.
I agree I love the fact that he’s somewhat the opposite of Kwon personality wise being more stoic and quiet then cocky and loud but it’s also going to be impossible to fight him one on one and it’s going to take Robby and Miguel both to be able to take him down because of how hard he is to fight. Anyways another great video and Happy Thanksgiving Jacob!

THE CHOSEN ONE: Aw 😩Another great video. Baring his rivalry with Miguel, I think Axel is a very interesting character🧐. I think after what happened with I believe that everyone will think of Axel as a monster (Miguel as well) but Sam. Hayden did a Q & A on X (twitter) and he confirmed that we would see more of Sam & Axels connection in part 3. It’s very possible that Axel could literally be between light and dark with Sam sort of becoming his light and Wolf sees that and he beats and Berates Axels mind into submission until he becomes the monster that Miguel and Robby must beat in order to win.
I am so glad Axel was introduced. Personally I want him to win. Axel vs Robby and vs Miguel would be amazing. Also Jacob, do you think Cobra Kai would be removed from the final, or do you think they will put Yoona in the male Captain's spot because they got to the male finals, or will Diego from Furia de Pantera take the finals spot. I'm so excited for Part 3 Also it is 1000% not Axel's fault for Kwon's death. If he saw the knife or not, he was defending himself. Plus Axel is not a monster
@@FutbolFanatic27 Story wise it wouldn't make sense for Yoon to fight anyone in the finals. He isn't strong enough. He lost to Hawk. Even tho Hawk did have help from Demitri and Kenny. But he still lost nonetheless. Yoon doesn't stand a chance against Axel
Great vid as always bro. He will be a tragic villain. Kwon’s death will mess with him mentally and alongside the toxic teachings Wolf will continue to put him through, and people blaming him for Kwon’s death - he will go fully to the dark side.
That's just it. That was his own fault. Kwon knowingly picked up the eunjangdo and wanted to use it to murder, if not injure, axel. It was kwon's own fault
You are right he is a monster to people because I could totally see him being blamed for the death but he ain’t just like you said I think Sensei Wolf is going to manipulate him into thinking he is a monster and to stop holding back but I think his left side is his weaker side because that is the same side sensei wolf kept hitting when they were training and also in the inside the dojo clip that’s the same side Robby had kicked so his left side might be his weak spot
He's not a monster... Yet. If the leaks are true and he severely injures Robby and faces Miguel in the finals, they need to get Axel to the point where we truly are rooting against him. I think he'll be distraught about Kwons death but Wolf (and maybe Silver depending on where they take him next) will break him down into believing he did the right thing giving him the "if he dies, he dies" mentality.
Very likely, yes! Silver, Kreese and Daeun looked completely shocked when Kwon was death on the floor. But no sign of Wolff. It seems he didnt care about Kwon. And I wouldnt be surprised if Silver hired the wrong guy, that Wolff is 10 times more evil as anyone from Cobra Kai (including Sunyung) and on a personal mission. Miyagis victim Claramunt came 99% from Catalonia since the name is from there, and Wolff speaks Catalan, maybe he was connected to him. And I wouldnt be shocked if Wolff turns up in episode 11 which starts where 10 ended, and contrary to all others will mock Kreese for being too soft, and mock the death Kwon, telling Axel he did everything right and that little pu..nk (Kwon) deserved it.
Kwon actually did land one hit on axel during the brawl right after he grabbed the knife its hard to tell bc of the camera angle but you can see axel wince a little and if you look at the behind the scenes footage you can see from a different angle that kwon did actually hit him.
@@timdagod Yes the kick landed. But Axel wasnt hurt by it, Yoon also kicked him in the stomach with full power and nothing did happen. Axel "wince" for one tenth of a second and continiued as if nothing did happen. And in the footage you speak about he didnt just "kill" Kwon there, before he pushed Yoon to the floor, and after Kwon was down, he was attacked by Chunghee and Minseok (two other Cobras), and he beat them down with ease.
@@chrisbach1533There’s no need to go all in depth about it because it’s not that deep i was just correcting chosen one because he said despite all of kwons athletics and his variety of kicks he couldn’t land a hit on axel which obviously isn’t true bc he did. Thats all I was trying to say. Knowing that kwon landed a blow is important to a degree bc show frames axel as being untouchable and a lot of people did miss that kwon actually hit him and only saw yoon hit him so this is mostly for them, not to spark a debate.

I'm wondering if Axel will go through a similar phase to Hawk in season 3 in terms of how we can clearly see he's conflicted and there's good in him, but it's being clouded by his sensei, forcing him to do certain things. I'm hoping we see Miguel and Robby team up to 2v1 him in a brawl, in my opinion that could potentially be the best fight of the show
No he isn’t. A lot of people are going to look at him as if he’s a monster, except Sam. I believe that Sam will be the one person who doesn’t and maybe actually defend him (before he, Miguel, and Robby fight). Sam I think will be in a sense what has Axel stand between light and dark and Wolf will see that and beat his mind into submission and turn him into the monster that Miguel and Robby fight at the tournament until Miguel snaps him out of the mindset that Wolf will have him in by beating him.
Axel will be off balance because of Kwon's death, leading Axel to lose vs Robby. Also, It will be revealed that Zara is pregnant with Robby's child (From their 1 night stand), but she won't tell Robby.
Axel will beat Robby but Robby will find the weakness to axel and tell Miguel which will lead to Miguel beating axel. This is very likely. Which I do not want. I don’t want it to be this predictable. I want Robby to win the tournament because from a narrative standpoint it makes sense. What I would do is make the final 2 Miguel and Robby with Robby winning.
