Amazing! I thought I bad BAFX IR wire, until I seen your last segment on plasma tv's, I moved the IR receiver away from my plasma screen and it works now....Thanks!

Just received my kit yesterday. I followed your video and it made the installation very smooth. One suggestion if you read these comments is to move the screen overlay of BAFX Products LLC to the bottom or to the top of the video screen. Because this overlay is in the middle of the screen it is distracting. It seems to lay right over top of the person hands who is doing the demonstration.
However, as mentioned, the video is helpful.

Thanx for the videos ....👀Will it work if I connect the IR output of my Samsung TV directly to the IR receiver and then put an IR extended cable to an amp on another room instead of having an extra amp....I also wish to control the amp volume and tv volume with the same remote control PS: when I am on the tv room I switch to speakers A and speakers B when I am in the room where the amp is. Cheers!🍺
what is the limit on the length of the cables to each watching location? How to run this over CAT5 without have electrical wiring skills to custom build connectors?
Hi Randall, For running over CAT5 the CAT5 line must be dedicated solely to the IR signal and must not run through any switches, hubs or routers. That said, we also sell a "CAT5 Adapter Kit" which comes with everything you need to plug the kit right into your CAT5 jacks without doing wiring work. In regards to how far you can extend the IR receivers, typically up to about 2-300'. This can vary though. If the extension is to run past heavy electrical wiring or other heavy electronics, this can cause signal loss/interference limiting how far it can be extended. I don't know, is ira receiver and repeater one line , I don't get it . Too much talking and not enough video. Video should be at bigger distance instead of video of mainly hands
