Thank you! I am glad it all worked out too. I would have preferred to make new lines but with our deadline unfortunately we couldn’t. But it seems to all be working!
Great idea with that Heim joint! Little customization and that worked perfect. I was actually considering a very similar conversion to this for the V10 Impreza because at first I thought the brake booster would be too in the way. Bummer about all the adapters, but should work now anyways! Solid video ma dude.
Thanks Aaron! I’m really happy the heim joint worked out too. Will your brake booster work out for you? I would have preferred to make new lines but you know how it goes lol
@@pissedoffpistongarage Yeah I can get my brake booster to work now. I actually dented it slightly to clearance for one engine head, but now it turn out I didn't really need to because I moved the engine over a bit. Oh well! Should still work fine. I still have to remake all the front lines and lines to the rear connections too.
Great video Oliver! I'll never need to replace a brake booster on an S10 but love watching you creatively solve problems. Nice job! Looks like you could use a small bushing on the brake pedal rod after grinding down the Heim joint. Nice job bending the brake lines!
I would say the 11 inch probably has a little bit better stopping ability just because it is a bigger I did not notice any difference between the 11 and the 7 inch. I went with the 7 inch for the sole purpose that it would be easier to fit the turbo.
you do know that corvette style have the front reservoir in front and the rear reservoir in the back? , that's why the fittings were revers than your old because the setup is reverse.. , also when you got your dad pushing the pedal to check the play it looks like he's got the foot on the clutch pedal lol
Love it!
Thank you! Couldn’t have done it without you!
Dang like the heim joint instead of welding the old one onto the new.
Nice job on the brake booster and master cylinder installation. Glad you were able to locate the fittings and lines to complete the installation.

Great video you’re getting very good at explaining everything well on your way to be a UA-cam star can’t wait till the next video keep them coming! 👍🏻
Haha thank you! I’m really proud with how good this video turned out. “UA-cam Star” I like the sound of that!😂
Nice Job, That really opens up a lot of room!

Thank you Don! Well if you ever need to replace one now you know how!😂 I wish I could take credit on the brake lines but that’s all my dad!
They make a nice tool to check the depth on the booster rod .
What is it called?
That in my opinion is a well done video. Thanks man.
Thank you! I put a lot of work into it lol
Great great video. Do you think a JEGS 555-613014 booster/cylinder/valve will work? Or? .. Disc brakes with single pistons. Thanks
Dude! Sick mullet!
I don’t have a mullet!😂😂😂 just long hair!
What Corvette master cylinder did you find that has the 9/16 fitting in front and 1/2 in rear?
Great vid! 👍 Just a question about the difference from 11" to 7" in brake power... Are there no difference between that in brake quantity?

Have you done anything else with the 2.2 turbo yet?
Other than order a bunch of parts, no. But I do want it to happen soon.
