I am half Haitian and did not grow up with my Haitian family and I am now 39 trying to connect with my Haitian roots through UA-cam. I made this dish tonight and I must say, this is the best pork I've ever tasted in my life. I can't wait to try more Haitian food.

You can also bake it, 375 until brown (flip it once) and it comes out about the same, use the awesomeness left in the pot to make your sauce (remeber to remove as much oil as possible from the left over in the pot)

fresh sour orange is preferable for excellent color and result for all pork/goat, any meats. Sorry sweetie but authentic haitiene cusine do not use maggi and powdered stuff...and don't know when or why they started to incorperate that into their cooking, because it's a killer... using a pressure cooker would take less time and putting it in the oven would get better result instead of frying it the traditional way... end result look nice :)
