  • Drove down to Orange today from Camping des Favards to see the Arc de Trimophe and have a stroll around Orange.
It is a beautiful historical Roman town and well worth a visit.
The Roman arena has been restored and is now a famous venue just like it was on Roman times when the gladiators fought here.

That's a shame. We had a motorhome on our first visit and found the same so just stayed on our site in Port Grimaud .
Since then we are caravanning again and we're able to get out and about.
There was no height barrier in the free car park next to the Arc Trimophe in Orange.
Ironically after we went back to a caravan I noticed that St Tropez and Port Grimaud had no height barriers in the main car parks. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

It was very difficult to park anywhere in south of France. We were there at the end of Sept. All garages and parking lots have a ramp with max height of 1.9 or 2.1m. our van is 2.6m high. It was a dissapointment journey for us.
