@@litasyourmother1575 in the past I think death had held a more respectful fear or reverence in people’s minds than it does in comparisons to today and very recent history. It was respected and accepted differently. Obviously there has always been people who have wanted to cheat death but I think the worlds recent obsession with prolonging their life span and/or reaching immortality is at a rate that is hard for me to not take note of at the least. I firmly believe there is an overall goal to push society to strive for immortality via technology like downloading consciousness etc to finally separate people from The Creator once and for all. And I’d think the best way to do that is to make people horrified of death and whatever comes after.
@@propanehuffer5859 I don't believe that's true at all. The fear of death has always been present in the human psyche, and the quest to overcome it most definitely has been as well. It's at least as old as literate civilization, for the oldest story ever preserved, the Epic of Gilgamesh, is about the search for immortality. And its surpassing popularity indicates it spoke to something deep in the people who read it. History is filled with men who wanted to live forever and who turned the resources of entire countries toward the goal. The first Chinese emperor, Qin Shi Huang, killed himself drinking mercury thinking that it would cure him of death. For centuries in the middle ages and Renaissance, European alchemists were consumed by attempts to create the philosopher's stone and the elixir of life. Juan Ponce de León was driven to explore North America in search of the Fountain of Youth. Sure, ancient cultures like the Sumerians who wrote of Gilgamesh and the Greeks who wrote of Asclepius understood that death could not be surmounted. But such cautionary tales wouldn't need to be written if people didn't believe immortality was achievable.

Beauty is subjective. Outer effervescence only allures the hedonists and those who are easily afflicted by appearances.

This piece is transcending all human music concepts. It goes beyond the waters above. It is pulled straight out of the Kingdom of God.
