I'm back and I bring with me a new contender for worst game this year. YAY! :D
This isn't the Halloween episode. That'll come later this week. :p
Game Link: www.medalofhono...
End theme by the incredible Dan Bull:
/ douglby
Additional Cutaway music. "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach.
musopen.org/mus...
All other music is in-game music. It makes me want to never play games again.
I like how the automatic machine gun doesn't have bullet drop yet the sniper does... because *REALISM!*
Probably because a sniper bullet is much heavier than an assault rifle bullet, also he's shooting a sniper from over 600 meters but with the assault rifle he's shooting 30 meters infront of him.
Probably because a sniper bullet is much heavier than an assault rifle bullet, also he's shooting a sniper from over 600 meters but with the assault rifle he's shooting 30 meters infront of him.
+Tommy Smout not when hes shooting the infinitely respawning snipers
Medal of Honor: Doorfighter
+My Soft Little Pillow faceplam
Good song
Karmas Camera Great song
Kickin down doors wherever we go?
If nerdcubed hell was around this would probably be on the list
'probably'
kek
Only because he shits on it.......
and I agree
Hell videos are for outrageously awful games and "plays" videos are for fun/mockery now
+Amanda Doyle noo
No matter our console, pc, Xbox, WiiU, or PlayStation, no matter the devs, no matter what separates us, we can all agree on one thing...
Ride to Hell Retribution is the second worst game ever. (next to Big Rigs Racing)
Nope E.T for the Atari is the worst game ever
Matt Pinkerton We dont speak of that game
Raquel Maclin true, we have rules for these kinds of things
Air Control?
Paul Looney Ride to Hell: Retribution is even worse.
I love how EA claim this game failed because it was too realistic.
I love ArmA.
I hate this game.
How can they claim this game is more realistic than ArmA with a straight face?
They were practicing.
This game failed because they charged too much for it. I bought it for $5 and loved every minute of it.
Its EA
Stuff your games full sily dlc andpay to win stuff and WAY too early releases and youll understand
Paul The Arsehole No. They were making a shitty game.
E.A. games. It's in the D.L.C., not the base game...
(either that or microtransactions)
I miss the days when this was what the most broken game of the year looked like.
In this game the player has been reduced to being an actor following a script in a war movie. And if he doesn't follow the script, the director sometimes kills him! #notanotherspunkgargleweewee
nice yahtzee reference!
Nerd³ Completes... Medal of Honor: Warfighter
>:D
*evil laugh*
+wilczur YES!YES!YES!YES!YES!YES!YES!YES! I hope he does this because it would be fun to watch him loose his mind playing it.
I love you XD
Drill instructor: "What is your major malfunction, numbnuts?"
Nerd³: "I had a coughing fit and I had to go and get medicine. Okay? Shut yo face."
After playing Spec Ops i thought 'Holy Shit i am a fucking awful person'
After playing MOHWF i just sorta thought 'Well.. K' and continued on with my day as normal.
***** Yes you are a awful person not capitalizing I. Ugh.
***** What is MOHWF?
Medal of Honor warfighter
Louis Greenleaf thanks
+Obagus00 And you are an awful person for not typing "an awful" correctly
I saw the limited edition of this game in a bargain bin for 5 dollars...
i only bought the limited edition for the Bf4 closed beta acces.
why is this so shit?
"electronic arts presents..."
oooooohh. i get it now.
Okay, so if you are 300 metres away from the person you are killing, you still hear them squidge? Damn son we got some batman shit going on in here
Ey Steve! Got any creative, totally not original, ideas for a new game?
Steve, who didn't think of it till last moment: uh... How about a war game?
BRILLANT!!! This is a totally new idea!
Storyline: People don't come back from war, and uh, SHOOT THE THINGS!!!
Figures this game was made by EA.
"Ooh! We blew up the space station! WOO!"
Aaaaaand he's a prophet.
EA makes the crappiest games
EA doesn't make games. DICE does.
The Dutch Gamer This wasn't DICE.
WelshGamer I didn't say it was from DICE I said that DICE makes games. I didn't say DICE made this game. But EA didn't make this one as well.
The Dutch Gamer Sure
Who is a call of duty fanboy?
hello? anybody still here?
I'm here

Medal of Honor: Airborne is better
It looks amazing for a game that old too
Indeed.
Rising Sun? Anybody? No...? Ok.
they need to remaster Pacific Assault & Rising sun. I would like a WW2 game set in the pacific.
Adam Savage yeah, it was pretty good, apart from the fact that it's too short.
Dan didn't point this out but when you tomahawk you kick the door down anyway! you just break the handle with the hatchet and kick!
I will say one thing good about this game. Castle of glass by Linkin Park was featured in it.
And it was the only thing.
Tigerowski2
Yeh. Spec ops did pretty much everything better.
+Tecreatoromega
No. Any shooter is better than MOH:Warfighter. Not just Spec Ops.
Spec Ops: The Line= You awful person. Turn off the console and go to hell. Or just sit in the naughty corner forever
MOHWF=Hey! Why is there sort-of shiny powder? Oh, that is the DISC.
Preacher, Voodoo, and Stump are all different characters. The names at the beginning of each mission state who you're playing as.
Well some people do so your input is not needed. Thank you now please stfu
So at the start, wouldn't submerging your gun fuck it up. at least without some kind of cover across the barrel? Hell, G.I's back in World War 2 used condoms, I think modern badasses could figure something out.
eh i'd say with modern technology we would've figured out a way to make it work wet :P.
Thor Zeusian The problem is that water gets into the inner workings of a gun, jamming them up and making them unable to re-chamber a round after being fired, plus suppressors are very fragile and are damaged easily by water. We do have underwater guns, but they have to be special made to avoid these problems, and in fact don't even fire bullets, instead firing steel darts.
If this scene was realistic, he would go out the water, fire one unsuppresed shot since the suppressor broke, alerting everyone, and when he tried to fire again his gun would jam.
Also, gun development has pretty much stagnated after World War 2. Modern day guns are pretty much re-skins of World War 2 guns. Hell, the M2 .50 cal was developed in World War 1.
No the guns they use are able to fire submerged and after being submerged... Look up "over the beach test" there are plenty of examples of it if you want to take a look.
Demon50 Huh, didn't know that. Guess i'm wrong about that.
My point about the suppressors still stands, but still. Thanks for sharing!
worldwar2freak12 yeah the only way that gun is firing more than a single shot is it that thing was in the AK family or a Makarov or a Bizon and that's it.
And logically the silencer would break so the gun would only fire a very very loud shot.
I love your channel Dan, but stop going out of your way to make games YOU don't like look bad. Yes, I know the video's near 2 years old and there's literally no possibility he will see this in his existence, but he still does it today.
The game is not horrible. Yes, the car would stop if you were to "randomly" slam into a brick wall. If the driving is so bland, dull and easy why do you keep failing? You edit out things like the fact that you can't endlessly resupply as you stated, and why not stay with your fuckin' group of buddies or listen to the dialogue instead of forcing yourself to say that going down an empty street that BLATANLY doesn't look like you can or should go that way.
He never calls the driving easy once, he just calls it bland and dull. It's another "kill the foreigners" shooter that doesn't do a single thing different from other shooters. It's made even worse by a horrendous story and butt-ugly cutscenes, and the campaign is just repetitive shooting galleries with teeny little gimmicks (like the robot thingy) that try and fail to mix up the dull gameplay.
I agreed with everything until you said "This game is not horrible."
Worthless pepperonipancake The game is by no means "good," I didn't say that. It's a stupid senseless shooter that I preferred for the multiplayer that I played with a friend (and it could be fun when you did, it had some fun little mechanics), but Dan turned it from a "😐" game into a "😞" game, which it wasn't all that much. The story is not good, original or interesting, but it does exist, within those supposedly ugly cut scenes (which I think look pretty realistic, both in-game and those CG ones; apart from that scary fuckin kid). The gameplay is not original or interesting, but it keeps you mindlessly entertained like CoD until you go to multiplayer.
Anyways, back to Dan making games look bad, he did it for the Dark Souls as well (I never actually played them, but the comment section of the first Dark Souls video is littered with saying he made it look bad.)
MajoraMoon2000 Well dan doesn't actually care that people don't like the way he takes apart games and looks at the bad things, thats just how he does it. Now i'm not trying to discourage you, but if you don't like how he does it then watch someone elses videos.
"I love your channel Dan, but . . . "
What I'm complaining about he doesn't do often, but it does happen.
The reason they can breath under water for so long is because they are trained to.
The reason I can survive 26 bullets point blank to the head is because I am trained to.
The reason I have never had a friend is because I am trained to.
GeniusLad32 lol
Roverdrive X The reason I die by not following orders and then tripping over a piece of stone is because I am trained to.
***** I know it's mainly the Navy Seals who are trained to hold their breath.
If Dan played Medal of honor AirBourne He would love it!
Regenerative health is one of the stupidest ideas for a fps. It basically turns you into a bullet sponge. Obviously all that body armor is usless, they might aswell be fighting naked
I think the way it was done in far cry 3 was decent, you get a few bars of health and you have regenerative health if a bar completely depletes it wont regenerate health anymore unless you use a healing item.
tgsachris or do a very long healing animation.
In America's Army: Rise of a Soldier, the levels are kind of linear, but at least they are open, and the textures aren't great, but at lest they don't go in and out every 3 seconds. And it makes sense that you follow your squad. This game was made in 2002. In 2012's Medal of Honor: Warfighter, we kick doors, walk through something, and then look at the creepy cut-scene creatures, and we shoot some doors, and then have seizures from the awful textures.
To be honest, these people aren't given choices, so it's either follow orders or be arrested and sent to prison for life.
joshua powell HOW IS THAT BETTER!
RandomGamingUltra It isn't. You can choke them out, knocking them unconcious.
LeonHDgaming I really don't think they had time for that
i had an iq test before playing the game and then a week after finishing the game my iq when from 136 to 134, i am not even kidding i lost 2 iq
Damn dude you're pretty smart
i had an iq when i was 9
+Sworm Trooper no fucking shit, you don't 'get' one, you always have intelligence. at least most people do, not sure about you
+EVO6reviews That's a bit harsh maybe he was saying he had an IQ test when he was 9
GamingBlarg your IQ should stay the same all through your life unless you get brain damage
SPEC OPS THE LINE IS $5 NOW ON STEAM FOR 2 DAYS! GO GO GO!
It is free since its release on Piratebay. GO GO GO!
flyingspagetti
How about you buy the game, and support the developers for this amazing game?
TheWalkthroughKiller
How about no.
Yusuf Akmal I update my PC hardware every 6 months to maintain top notch beast performance and I save my hard-earned cash by not buying games. Because that's an economic way to do things. If I COULD get free PC hardware I WOULD buy the games. But because I CAN pirate a game, that means I certainly WILL pirate it. No excuses, just a way to save some money instead of tossing them around. There are plenty of suckers out there who pre-order games, leave them to support the devs. I don't have money to waste on debatable and mediocre games. Also DRM.
Yusuf Akmal
You concentrated only on my 2nd last sentence. Saving $30 from this game is a thing nontheless, mediocre or not. It's been two years since release and it still costs $30. Bet your ass I will pirate it, since I don't spend time chasing sales seasons. That $30 is used on a different product for me. Again, if I can pirate it, I will. No excuses, no hiding behind my finger, no boasting in doing so. Just saving money to use on a different purpose.
The best bit about the tomahawk animation was he spends six years smashing the handle off... Then just kicks the door down, just like the kicking the door down animation!
Everybody I have ever talked to hates this game, except for people who didn't read the reviews about it. I found it at a sale at The Ex for $5, bought it, loved the single-player campaign, and loved the online multiplayer. Showed it to my nephew, who had never heard of it, and he loved it. He showed it to his friends, who had never heard of it, and they loved it. Maybe I'd be a little pissed if I spent $60 on it, but it was not by any means *horrible*. It was a very fun, good looking, immersive, exciting game.
Same here, I got it last year for only $20 and I still have a blast playing both the multiplayer and single-player to this day even if it is on the short side of campaigns nowadays.
***** Why? The only consistent complaint I have heard about it was the buggy level scripting, where you had to walk around looking for the point to trigger the next phase of the level. But other than that, what was so bad about it? It had great graphics, great directing, great gameplay, an interesting story, fun multiplayer, lots of weapons and customization...
moeburn An interesting story? No no good sir, an interesting story is more like psychonauts or Dishonored. Fun Multiplayer? No Garry's Mod Is Fun Multiplayer. Lots Of Weapons? In Metal Of Honor The Weapons Mean Jack Shit. Also About The Graphics While Watching The Video Remember That Part Were THEY DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO RENDER PART OF THE MAP
Sorry. You can put it however you please, you can't talk your way around this game being a bugged-up-the-arse piece of shite, especially in Singleplayer. It's just objectively badly designed and programmed.
In Multiplayer it's... ... ...
... bearable... or so.
AniGa - Anime, Games & More I've played through the campaign plenty and have yet to come across a single bug.
Anyone else notice that the subtitle at 11:13 was incorrect? It should have been "your" not "you're"!!
Nerd plays : uncharted 3
Games like this always fall apart when they have those "supposed to fail" sections if you get shot 2 seconds earlier it's a failure but at that specific time it's a 'good' thing
For the beginning, you reference spec ops the line because it gives you a choice, but in that game they used to be the same kind of person you were when you kill them, and that makes you feel worse about killing them. In this game you just shoot Taliban and other insurgents,
***** How am I a noob?
Facepalm.
There is more to a shooter, not just shooting.
I'm sorry, you don't kill foreigners in Spec Ops The line: you kill americans
Zelousmarineinspace I know, who said otherwise?
High-Risk Insurance It sounded like you did: probabully a misunderstanding.
11:16 "You're time was poor" hahahahaha
I actually liked this
quite a bit of people did.
When he is aiming like a sniper hiding behind the crates, when he moves left the crate gets in front of the scope... his gun goes through the crate. he's right behind it.
I hope you understood because I don't think I worded it very well
9:54
Fail subtitles
Mmmm polished game...
9:53 or 9:52 :D
at the start where Dan is forced to shoot that guy standing around that barrel he was unarmed and unaware of them so shooting him just broke THE FUCKING RULES OF WAR yes there are rules of war google rules of war
***** The point is that this was supposed to be "real" since they contacted vets to get their input on the matter.
Not sure what they did specificcally, but it was advertised that they used them to make the game more realistic. I do understand that it wouldn't be as interesting a game if you didn't actually get to shoot things, but if they wanted to advertise it as a realistic "almost real AKA Arma" experience, they shouldn't force you to do stuff like this.
Rules of engagement
If you look closely the man had an AK, but they didn't have to shoot him.
***** It would have been easy to make it realistic by just giving the guy a gun, but they didn't, that's how lazy they were
I loved this game
Tell me one FPS where you dont do that
where don't you shoot an inocent person in games??
Blah b well iam the one who playes a alot of games and ive been playing games where you are not an american and where you kill inocent people
Blah b So no war games?
Said nobody with a brain.
This was the golden age of nerdcubed
1:16 "You're time is poor"
THERE. IS. A. EFFING. TYPO. IN. AN. AAA. GAME.
At least Karachi was surprisingly accurately built. I think they did more than 10 minutes of research for that. With 1494084730x the number of cars+motorcycles+civilians on the road it would even look like the real thing.
I swear in his Liero video he thinks that "warfighter" is the stupidest name ever. This is so fitting.
The first MoH from 2010 was so good. I remember there was that one mission where you make the huge assault in the desert as Adams with your squad. It was a tough mission, but the ending was sad and awesome at the same time. You end up being caught in a building at the bottom of a hill and being surrounded by Taliban. It takes minutes, but they just keep coming. Slowly, your squad runs out of ammo, and has to call off the reinforcements to them. But just in the nick of time, Apaches save you.
you are the first person ever to not say. "Because it's call of duty." congratulations for being smart and actually giving me reasons. and i agree with you.
5:58, and a couple seconds almost made me fall out of my chair.
This game's trophies speak volumes about it. A Zelda joke that everyone's heard of and "Extreme Realism".
9:51 Subtitles: "Approach your brother to resupply YOU ammunition." Erm..
Wait a second, at 9:52 did the subtitles say to "Approach your brother to resupply you ammunition"? Resupply you ammunition. You. YOU. YOU!!! GRAMMMMMAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!
I came back to this video... after all this time to say... I really don't think Warfighter was that bad.
tbh, from what it seem, nerd would have thought the same thing if it wasnt talked about as a super serious war game.
if it was talked about as a war game (but not a super serious one) then chances are he would have enjoyed it more.
but with how the game is in places he still wouldnt have enjoyed it much but he would have went into it with the mind set he was playing a cod like game instead of a the line like game.
like if someone make a game advertised as the next burnout but instead it was more simulator less arcade. he enjoys simulator games a bit. but if its described as arcade and is realistic then hes going to end up disliking the game alot (although maybe if the game is done well enough he will like it somewhat still)
Judging by the amount of flashbacks, I'd call it...... FLASHBACK-CEPTION
Spec Ops: The Line: Written with a Golden pen, on a diamond parchment, and stored in a museum where people can't go within 6 meters of it because they might damge it by breathing on it.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter: Written by EAs own shit on a wall in a petrol station some where in the middle of nowhere.
the ending cutscene of this game made me cry though
I do, Dan does, whoever wrote the countless bits of trivia on the Call of Duty wiki obviously did
You want to see a game that portrays the harshness of war? To be honest, I don't think there is one, because there will always be that disconnect because the players know it's just a game. The closest thing I can think of that portrays war, however, is Arma. Give it a looksie, it might change your view of things. And remember, if you think it's too boring to be war, then you aren't looking for a portrayal of war, you're looking for an action packed, but fictitious story.
02:45 That's why they are called SEALS... You won't see them coming out of the water... That is why most people fail the SEALS training.
One of the trophies totaly ripped off the "it's dangerous to go alone, take this," quote from The Legend of Zelda.
Sadly enough....I bought this game....got maybe one or two missions past the driving mission and just stopped because I couldn't play it any longer.
God what happened to the Medal of Honor series? Allied Assault, Pacific Assault, and Airborne were such GREAT games!
Even worse, when the guy in the beginning told Dan to approach his brother, he said:
"Approach your brother to resupply you ammunition"
You ammunition.
YOU
ME
crashi bandacootie we
US
Also, 11:13 subtitles: "You're time was poor."
They can't even be bothered to check their grammar? I won't be buying this, that's for sure.
bullet drop at 100 metres?erm this is worse than WW2 guns
The ammo on the gun with the weird scope keeps pissing me off. Sometimes when it reloads it has 30 bullets, sometimes it has 31. Inconsistency, thy name is Medal of Honor: Warfighter!
The reason why it sometimes has 31 bullets is because if you reload when you still have ammo left, you'll have one bullet left in the chamber plus the 30 in the magazine.
The kicking the door open icon at 10:44 looks exactly like the Mantread kill icon from TF2.
I lost it at the little girls face and "Kill it with fire" popped up on the screen hahaha
9:53 "Approach your brother to resupply you ammunition"
They speak good Englandish
*Not missed and totally forgotten*
Except for those poor souls who played this tragedy.
I like how on the second mission the gun camouflage matches none of the terrain textures at all
The comments on here are funny to read , but they don't realise that they are all just opinions, even the video is just a big opinion , but no matter how much you argue, and I'm not being mean , but no one will care , you could argue for days and cause it's over the internet it won't matter, so hate this game fine go play a different game ,love the game , don't watch this video then and go and play it . Btw dan , I love your vids ;)
When did I ever say I don't play generic FPS? And even if I did I own them it doesn't mean I play them nearly as frequently as MoH. There still generic and don't change much but it doesn't make them bad games it just means you get bored after a couple weeks.
Medal of Honor used to be so damn good. Frontlines, Rising Sun, Vanguard, Airborne, AKA the good old days.
11:16 'You're time was poor'
Really? I understand typos, but this is a complete game
In shooters there´s always 1 Rule: Enemys are unkillable in front of you and they disappear behind you. So please the next time you play a shooter just run through it and watch the enemys spawn infinetely in front of you and despawn behind you^^ Thats the way you can play the game without killing anyone except if the script is telling you to ^^
I don't think they will ever make a game that can come close to the old Medal of Honors.... European Assault, Rising Sun, Pacific Assault, Frontline, etc. Sigh... The music, the pacing, just the plain immersion that was possible where you would get lost living and fighting in a war torn part of history. These days, it's kinda flat, and there's just nothing there. Well at least that's how i feel.
I like how the flashbang that gets thrown when they breach seems to do jack shit.
i know what it does
it slows down time
because that's how flash bangs work
When a game makes you feel more sorry for a robot , poor robot got bazzoka'd
Previos Medal of Honor game had at least better "give me ammo" mechanic. Your "buddies" gave you ammo only for your starting gun. If you swapped for, let's say, AK, they didn't have the ammo for it.
of cause they would only have ammo for that gun because, when did a soldier need AK-47 ammo for a M4A1 ?
The Survivalist My point was, that they didn't magically had ammo for every gun, you decided to pick up.
okay, now there's no finesse, it's just un-coardinated anger
If Rabbit hadn't died, you would have played as him. Preacher was an idiot in the Medal of Honor that came out before this that was called, Medal of Honor. Preacher was also green as grass in terms of facial hair. I would have enjoyed playing as Wolf or Dante, the other two guys you played as in Medal of Honor.
Did the soldiers hack the handle off and chuck a grenade into a room they didn't even know would contain people hostile to them?
I'd like to point out that it says "resupply you ammunition" at 10 minuyes
It HAS also been released for the PC. Unfortunately no platform was spared.
RIP medal of honor 2000-2012 missed but never forgoten
From what I've seen, the "hardships" are what happens to the soldiers with their families/friends... But I'm not sure.
Why so much hate?! Seriously when I played the game there weren't any texture glitches or lighting glitches or a dumb AI or anything like that. I bet half the people or more in this comment section haven't even played the game. I really loved this game. Hate on me for stating my opinion you can go ahead. Not to mention the multiplayer was amazing! The detail from choosing the length of you barrel to head to toe customization. The soundtrack was also pretty awesome. Castle of Glass by Linkin Park
Coming out of war alive doesn't look like a problem if every wound just heals.
Why does AI roll their ENTIRE body out of cover to shoot? Is this Golden Eye? Do they do that funny sideways bunny hop too? Remember that? (BOING) "Missed me!"
Did anyone notice that in the subtitles at 11:14 it said "YOU'RE time was poor."?
This story was based on real events... you don't think a game going in-depth on not only the struggle of coming out of war alive but trying to keep the relationship with your wife alive while experiencing hell being in war and your friend getting shot in the head right in front of you is a good story? When you get revenge against the taliban in this game you feel good about the tribute of this game towards our soldiers in war. No other miltary FPS is better for the campaign then MoH.
One of my favorite war games when I was younger was Medal Of Honor: European Assault.
Fuck yes!
EternalWisdom I liked Rising Sun
Derek Schaaf Double fuck yes!!
EternalWisdom I recently found allied assault for extremely cheap at a goodwill store
The game was not complete and also based on what the special forces community experiences . the government took most of the game for national security reasons. It was made as tribute to the sacrifices the make so you can sleep in peace at knight.
I wanted to watch this on the nerdcubed site, and I hit the randomize button and got this video, five seconds after I watched it I wanted Abe's odyssey, hit randomize and got that video, and after that I wanted to watch the second dungeon keeper episode, hit randomize, and got that video, is that coincidence or did god just decide to have a larf with me
He said on Twitter he's not likely to do that one because its hard to be funny when a game is making jokes like Deadpool does. But, he still might.
oh my god the voice at 1:07 is hysterical
Nerd³ Challenges! Beat Medal of Honor: Warfighter Without killing anyone, Except that dude in the beginning
There's always that one guy who "personally really liked this game" and completely ignores everything you say
