hit the top of brickworks turn left into Kettleshulme, Macclesfield road, turn right onto the A5004, down into Goyt and if its climbing your after you'll find it as there's no way out of the Goyt other than up and either way is beautiful.
I had ridden one of the roads out of Goyt (Shining Tor to my right) and, yes, it’s lovely round there. There’s a video of it on the channel from a couple of years ago…
I didn’t manage to make it over to Mow Cop that day - I went in the other direction to pick off a number of other climbs which I’d never attempted before... I will definitely be down to do Mow Cop once then CV restrictions are lifted...

Start from the Legh Arms Adlington, to get even more climbing in..
