Boots are banned in such works, because the worker cannot see which toe is hurt. Gloves can be worn, but only for gay welders to protect their blue nail polish. Dark facemasks for welders are not needed, as a cheap stick welder can easily be found on any street corner, to replace the old blind welder; so a cost saving here. Hard-Hats are for homosexuals.

Why haven't those expensive bearings got a dust shield? Grinding right next to them and covering them in grinding debris is stupid. The squirt from the 3-in-1 oil can should make them last a long while. Painting the insides of the flywheels stops then fitting the shaft easily. The guy using the shaper has no idea. The clapper box lifts UP on the return stroke, so the workpiece should be below it. Why has one end of the shaft been beaten to death? The surface preparation is nil, with no etching primer as an undercoat? There's a thread on the shaft end, where is the nut? Why flywheels both ends, where's the drive pulley? Brilliant, I think not.
What an event! did you see? The cutting torch guy is wearing REAL shoes, not flip flops! He must have earned some UA-cam money, I presume...

Каждый раз смотрю с удовольствием на этих по настоящему трудолюбивых людей, но всегда поражаюсь их методам сварки, про технику безопасности ничего не буду говорить, но вот сварка поистине шедевральна, по сути своей это прихватка, ни фасок, ни глубокого провара и это при такой толщине металла, странно, вообще по идее это работать долго не должно, прорваться и развалится довольно быстро.
А им и надо чтоб развалилось, чтоб потом ремонтировать. Херачат без маски на ощупь, электроды гнут и варят наполовину без обмазки. Всё на земле никаких столов, подшипники все в песке извалены, как свиньи в куче мусора копошатся. А трудолюбивые они потому что деваться не куда.
@@timonreikin7088 я очень много наблюдал за ремонтниками на сто и могу утверждать у наших разъебаев схема аналогичная, подшипники в песке это вообще норма.

What is it about the enforcement of PPE in these 3rd world societies ?? I applaud their ingenuity in creating difficult things with very little technology, but the rate of preventable injuries here must be a lot !!

Not all those 3rd world countries are victorian like this content is targeted too. Also, you have issues in self proclaimed 1st cuntries from flawed planes to collapsing towers ..... result of the desperation to save pennies. You have serious dust explosion in these countries (sugar/flour) mills ... because it was to expensive to keep duct extraction systems up to work .... or too expensive to retrain pilots on a new type, so they hide the MCAS system to the airlines, pilots and certification authorities .... This list goes .... Ones are in danger because dont have enough resources to do thing the rigth way and othes that have the resources only think on saving pennies. This machine is secure in comparison to a cargo door from a DC-10 in ealry 70s ... and somehow they keep the planes flying.
Glad they get free pass on safety and pollution, unbelievable...

I salute many previous comments, this is not something to 'aim for' but sort of insight to 'managing' in the absence of most resources the developed nations take for granted. Good engineering it is not! but keeping weary old bits of often abused equipment and machinery going despite all the odds it certainly is. Try not to permanently damage too much (people, planet etc.) as you work away in squalid conditions.

I have just learned that tolerances in such works are very tight. Some tolerances are upwards of a full half inch, beating Western tolerances by 499.5 thousands on an inch.
