Mitewak were many and there were fights but now there is order and there are good mitewak out there. "Good" is too loose of a term of course. Also stop collectively place indigenous nations like the indian act. pay respect to the nation. Pan Indianism, destroys the colorful spectrum of sovereignty. Many woodland nations have other slower drumbeats. This is plains culture, learn to use your teachings that you adopted from other plains nations
@Skyhunter Aho, kemenwipematethi? I hope you do not mind me addressing you with my question. Now can Sauk be learned the same way, I know both are Algonquin languages, but I do not know really how close they are??? How close is the plains Nehinaw language compared to the woodland language??
Reuben, needs to be a bit more humble and recognize the knowledge he teaches came from a sacred source yet he does not acknowledge Elders- or perhaps that he dictates a Heuristic Philosophy Belief that He is the Progenitor of Cree language now as is.
His acknowledgement of the elders is how thorough his explanations are, how seriously and precisely he expounds on the language and it's history, and how clear his pronunciation is. Respect is not just a bunch of words tossed in for effect, sir.
I have not experienced a teacher who uses humor, the force of being correct, and putting words to an understanding that resonates with natural truth.
