I’ve bought the apple silicone case and I’m not happy about the amount of dust which sticks to it… Does dust stick less to the lumen and beats cases? Thank you for the review btw!
Hi yes you still have the click. The camera control works well for all the cases with the exception being the clear case is slightly better imho. One most caveat is that rubbing your finger back and forth on the short silicone case is slightly more irritating on your skin than on the Beats or clear case because those cases are plastic. Concern would be you will eventually get a wear pattern around the camera control button with steady use. The clear case button seems to be slightly more sensitive and responsive. It does take some practice to master the camera control button itself like dialing in how much pressure you apply but should take an hour of use to master imho. If you want to get the most out of the camera control button, I would recommend getting a case with the button to control it and not a cut out. If you want that perfect iPhone shape, even the best designed cut outs, dramatically alter the symmetry of the phone overall.
It really depends on how you treat it. I'm pretty tough on my cases and always put my phones in my jeans. The silicone still holds up. By 1-2 years, you will see some wear and tear for sure.
had to go for the clear case this year to show off the beautiful natural titanium. Used to use spigen clear cases but they yellow within months and need to be replaced and well over time, that adds up.
I purchased the silicon apple cover, dont like it at all. Little bit slippery in hand, does not protect the camera or front if you have a glass protector on it as the sides of the cover sit below the screen.
I think the otterbox is the best, especially if the camera control button is as responsive as the apple clear case. What case have you tested that has the best magnets, in your opinion?
I bought preordered the beats case, but swapped it for the otterbox in the Apple Store once I saw that, also a good choice given the Otterbox case is like 9 Euro cheaper from the Apple/beats cases. I defiantly recommend it. Magnets are about the same as beats id say but for me the beats colour was very muted (I had the purple one and swapped it for pink otterbox), Its a more vibrant which I like but both looked good on the desert titanium phone.
@@4iamking I wanted a completely clear case. No mag safe compatibility. As I never use why accessories, or charge it via magsafe, as that's bad for battery health. But too many cases easily. Even the expensive ones with scratch resistant coating
@LeeLong 0 seconds ago I bought this case and regret it. I had a much cheaper case on my 16 Pro, but I didn't like the cut out around camera control. I DO like the case for that reason alone. The camera control "button" works well enough. But the rest of the buttons, especially the vol up button, are VERY stiff. Plus the Phone is actually MORE slippery with the stupid case on. All this for $50!! What a bunch of crap.

Hi! Yes the non silicone cases will be much easier to clean.
The Otterbox Lumen catches fingerprints, but no dust..,
Lovely review! Thankyou so much, was waiting for someone to do this as I ordered the beats case and wasn’t sure about it. This clears my confusion.
Do you still get the click sensation on the camera control for the silicone and beats cases?

I can't agree that the silicone case lasts a long time... i think they're quite prone to dents and bits peeling/breaking off after some time

Are the buttons on the clear case easy to press?
how are the resistance to fingerprints? I want to get the clear case but worry about fingerprints
@@ronin120 fingerprints will show on the black titanium color. All the other colors are light and you won’t notice the fingerprints much
@@garyhuang5336 they require some effort to press. Not the best buttons at all honestly, but I’m willing to deal with that because it will not yellow
That's fast! First to post. Beautiful video
great review but I wish you would address how responsive the buttons are on the cases specifically the beats case
Hi! The Beats case buttons are soft and smooth to the touch but also responsive.
@@TheFrenchGlow perfect thanks!
@@TheFrenchGlow How about the Apple Clear case? How are the buttons?

Hate the white camera control button on the clear case. Wish they would have just made it clear like the rest of the case and buttons!

Silicone cases are so bad at grabbing little bits of fibre lint, and it is annoying to try to remove.
Bravo❤️
“Silicone case not grippy”?
It’s by far the grippiest case Apple make - so grippy that it often latches itself onto inner pockets.
Hi! I have had an apple silicone case since the iPhone 8 and it's OK grip but I would not classify it as sticky or very grippy. .
@@TheFrenchGlowhave you actually used the silicone case past 1 day of reviewing though? It gets grippier quickly over time
Love your in-depth look at the beats case ❤
I think the otterbox is the best, especially if the camera control button is as responsive as the apple clear case.

Hi! I have more case reviews coming asap but supcase and esr magsafe are superstrong vs others.
@@TheFrenchGlow I've seen the supcase and I'm not a big fan of it
