Hi, Tasty. I guess that, since the VRC6 was used in Akumajou Densetsu, it was perhaps already well suited for creepy stuff. In this case, I tried a combination of the triangle and the more versatile pwm from the VRC6 pulses to simulate ghostly vocals.

This is precisely why Sayori is my best girl. Intentionally or not, Salvato made her the essence of the game (even more than Monika, -Monika fans don't kill me, please-). That precise moment is what made DDLC the phenomenon it is now. And almost every youtuber I watch gets impressed by this particular track. That's why I chose this music to render in 8-bit format (and because of the eerie effects from the beginning).
