He does make more puns, but I suspect he doesn't truly mean too. "SANS! STOP PLAGUING MY LIFE WITH INCIDENTAL MUSIC!" Is a good example of him being funny to us when he is being completely serious. However, he does make some puns/joke that might seem like he did it on purpose, like "You cant spell prepared without several letters from my name" but I still feel like that's just Pap being Pap.
