You'll be mind blown when you understand that preflop is a street too, and increased passivity allows you to play many more hands preflop. You'd be surprised how many hands you can open when the table is under 3 betting, many hands are only losing because they cannot get to the flop often enough to realize their equity in solver land.
Point 1 and point 3 on your summary kind of go against each other for someone who skipped through the video and just wanted the conclusion, bc how are you going to overcall with marginal hands if the point is to over fold vs this player type lol. I think you should’ve been a bit more specific and said overfold against them OTR. And overcall marginal hands in order to turn them into bluffs when checked into them. Hi Saulo, do you usually study the adjustaments on single turn run out? Or we can ask pio to make adjustaments based on a different average frequency of betting turn? If yes, how we can do it?
Can someone who understands this concept explain it to me? If our opponent is underbluffing, why are we calling the turn with just about everything ? Shouldn't we be folding all our bluff catchers? I am not disputing that the solver is correct, I just don't understand WHY it's correct Is it because the information advantage on the river is so strong, against an underbluffing opponent, it compensates for over calling the turn ? thanks in advance
He’s checking range is weak, meaning he has a tendency of betting when he has a strong hand and folding too often on the river. If he checks the river, it often means that he doesn’t believe that he has a strong hand anymore. At this moment, you may bluff him out of the pot just about anything. Of course don’t call down his bet on the river with mediocre hand. For example, the villain opens ajo utg. You on the btn calls with 82o. The flop comes jh7d2d. He fires 2/3 of the pot and you call. The turn comes to 5s and fires half pot bet and you calls. The river comes a 10d to complete a flush and he check. In this spot, you can literally just shove about anything, and he will probably fold 99%of the time to make everything you call in previous street profitable.
Thanks buddy. As I said in the video, I used a custom node locking software that I coded myself. PioSolver has an API that allows you to programatically interact with the solutions. So it's actually quite easy to do what I did, if you have programming skills
The math is simply that what is bad (facing a turn bet) happens less often, which decreases our losses when calling flop, and what is good (facing a turn check) happens more often, which increases our winnings when calling flop. When we face a check on the turn, yeah most of the time we get an opportunity to bluff the river, but also we hit our pair more often, allowing us to win against their bluffs without needing to bet ourselves

I think there is a 4 point very important that I've experienced with very good results, and this is keep the initiative as long as you can against this players and even steal it whenever you can! Don't leave them choose what they wanna do, don't leave them polarize their range and face very big bets in situations you don't feel confident o don't have a clear way to respond. This way they gonna be more uncomfortable and they gonna make more mistakes
I don't know man, if people are going to play too passively with their bluffs, I kind of want to let them do it, instead of taking that opportunity away from them. Don't you think so too?

To sum things up… Play more hands against bad players that you can exploit on turn and river where pots are bigger and more profitable. Play closer to GTO and how a computer would play when playing against pros
Won a satellite to the bahamas and played flight A. this last weekend. I got hard exploited. Was over calling/over folding. Need a ton more work to do next time i hope fully win a main event seat again. Thanks for the vids!
He is referring to my automatic node locking tool. Allows to node lock multiple runouts automatically, whereas the available tools only allow your manual locking of one node at a time. But no, its unlikely I put it for sale

Will this player still end up overfolding when he checks because he doesn’t have enough bluffs or will he meet proper MDF to not be exploited when he checks because he shifts his value into that part of the game tree?
