haha! Hey Crystal! 20 bins is NOTHING. haha! It's nice seeing all the Christmas laid out. Your own little store. Last year I got those skinny Christmas note pads and wrote down the items in each bin as I took them out. We'll call it INVENTORY. It has helped SO MUCH. This year I plan to do that QR code trick. And you are right about themes! CHRISTMAS is the theme!! hahaha! Incidentally, I bought a rug for my dining room a few years ago. It has rust orange in it.....yeahhhh I wasn't thinking, but I loooooove it! It's that one from Target. This new one that you got would work so well!!! I have managed to make mine work for all seasons/holidays except Christmas so I am on the hunt for a non traditional (no red) way to love it through Christmas.
I went to my World Market this week & they had some Christmas out but not a lot. I also decorate with traditional Christmas colors, red mainly too. Can’t wait to see your decor.

Ha Crystal you are a hoot! I also have around 20 bins not including florals, wreaths, garlands, etc. I have a large basement, but it have a ton of decor down there, some of which I need to go through and purge (when/if) I ever retire. Sixty hour work weeks and finding time to decorate my home and my studio plus all the other things Christmas entails is a lot. But like you said, Christmas brings back so many good memories. We just find a way to get it done. I'm also starting organizing this upcoming weekend. My husband is "why do you have trees all over the basement?" and I'm telling him I'm processing where they will go....which ones I'm using, which ones will go to the studio and of course I always throw in "and which ones I'm getting rid of...." I never get rid of any, but it calms him down. LOL Looking forward to all of it! I love the rug, by the way! I have one in similar colors though I am looking for a thicker one. Mine was a Target one, served the purpose when we first put our flooring in, but like you said, for those of us who have always had carpeting there is a little bit of trial and error looking for area rugs.

I think your new rug is very pretty and fits your space well. I put up three trees and decorate them the three days after Thanksgiving. My family who comes for Thanksgiving would have a fit if my house was decorated for Christmas. Thanksgiving is such a special family time. We don't see each other often so Christmas has to wait until the week after Thanksgiving. I only have the trees set up with no decor on them. The rest of the decor goes up the first full week after Thanksgiving and stays up until after 12th Night which falls on January 5th this year. Everything comes down after that celebration. I don't mind watching you decorate sooner and I'll love it. I always enjoy your decor no matter what the season is. Your fall decor has been stunning this year!🎄
Crystal have you thought about hanging your garlands and wreaths on S hooks in the closet it may give you more room.🙂 cannot wait for next week, you are one of my favourite decorators. You always nail it especially at Christmas.
