Little detail I just noticed about Azula and zuko's fire: Azula, as we all know, has blue flames rather than red/orange, which in the real world translates to what we call "complete combustion", meaning that all the gases used to make the fire are burned up by it, making it safer but also more energy efficient. Zuko on the other hand has orange flames, showing "incomplete combustion", where not all the gas is burned up. What I'm trying to get at here is that Azula's fire is more refined, and uses less energy than Zuko's, yet in their final agni kai, Zuko matches Azula's fire-power, showing how much harder he worked for his strength.

Well, Azula was pretty skilled from the start, but Zuko wasn't. It seems like he learned to compensate for his weaker fire, by learning to wield it better or something. For what is a strong weapon in the hands of someone not skilled in its use?

Zuko was my favorite character all the way through. In the beginning, he was just a scared and angry teenager that wanted his father to love him. By the end, he realized that if he had to *make* his father love him, then he never really would. Then he found people that really would care for him for real. He’s the best, change my mind.

Zuko absolutely was the most dynamic character of this series. He was constantly confused on where he belonged until he finally joined Aang and the gang. Best character ever. I loved his internal conflicts and they made him so relatable.

I feel like zuko is the only one who worked the hardest
He means like with his life, while Aang had a hard time, he knew what was wrong and right. While Zuko had to overcome so many struggles just to be good. He even had a hard time being good after he decided to help Team Avatar. So while he didn’t do too much to end the war, he worked the hardest to get to where he was at the end of the series

I loved how they made it clear Zuko wasn't *all* bad from the first episode, he had kind, or at least unselfish moments throughout the series.
Easily one of the best ATLA fandom songs. I grew up with these characters. I didn't think it was possible for a song to be so well written and fit exactly. They describe zuko exactly while highlighting his struggle and fitting to the tunes perfectly. A lot of mainstream singers that make albums don't make songs this good. Hats off to you guys for this song

The only character that had real growth and development.
Though everyone had character arcs like katarra she didn't know how to deal with her grief in the southern raiders ep. she almost killed the guy that killed her mother and learned to forgive zuko. Toph she learned how to trust others like when she catapulted sokka suki and her on the fire nation airship. And sokka he was sexist at the beginning of the show and learned that woman can do cool things

I love that both verses and the bridge are representations of each season of zukos redemption. The chorus reminds me of how he overall is trying to be a good person but the "flames" or the bad parts of him still show through. Once again, yall did an amazing job. As someone who have seen Avatar: The Last Airbender so many times, this song matches Zuko so well it literally gives me shivers.
Zuko is the walking definition of the Five Stages of Grief. When he was a boy, he always denied that Ozai never honored him anymore. When he finally realized the truth, he got angry and was banned from the Fire Nation for his rebellion against Ozai He lived in a life full of anger for a very long time. Then he bargains with himself to find the Avatar on his own in order to regain his honor back. Along the way, he felt depressed many times thinking that he will never regain that honor back. Despite all this, Aang helped Zuko realize who he truly is deep inside and Zuko finally accepts that his honor is gained through his own acts and that no one can take his honor away. Zuko’s scar should have healed over time. It doesn’t matter what part of the body, or when he was burned, but the immune system will ALWAYS do its job in time.
It was so deep within him that I think he wouldn't have wanted to lose it. It was his reminder of why he joined Team Avatar: to get payback at Ozai through Aang beating Ozai during the Comet.

My father had gotten a third degree water burn on his shoulder at nine and know he’s forty one and the scar is still there if Zuko,s scar is anywhere near as bad as that it makes sense it was still there
Jack Kemble Yes, but most of zuko’s scar should have turned to skin with deep burn marks still there, not all of it like how he has it right now
