- Hey guys I hope you enjoy our new short film, The Mannequin, a horror short film about a mannequin who just wants his arm back.
I know things in the world are a bit uncertain at the moment so I thought I'd make another short film to hopefully take your mind off of all that is going on... even if it is to scare you even more... But hey I hope you guys enjoy the film.

I've been spending too much time inside. I saw it more as a female that keeps picking guys that just use and dump her like trash. And no. I'm not some male feminist. Can't fucking stand feminist bullshit but I see what I see. Also....I enjoyed the show.
Or maybe until the Mannequin is complitely destroyed? It doesn't seem to regenerate or reattach its bodyparts.

That's what the horror genre is capable of. You know the entire movie is fake. You know that ghosts don't exist. You know that a scene showing a mutilated body is still fake and no one was truly harmed...yet... it all seems to real.

😂The poor mannequin was just trying to get her arm back, LOL! It fell off when she moved the drape and he took it up stairs and kept it with him. The mannequin just wanted it's arm😭

Honestly glad I'm not the only one who thought this. It wanted it's arm back and maybe to get covered in nice clothing.
If that mannequin just gonna throw away nice blanket and broke its own arm but didn't bother to pick it back up, it deserves getting beaten.

I haven't been in a lot of second floors (or first floor if you're british I guess) but the ones I have been on literally are ten times worse than this guy's. I go to my friend's house and we go up the stairs and every time I think "man this is what'd it sound like if I dumped a bucket of metal forks in the dryer
He carried the arm of the mannequin along with him.... If I would be there, I would have thrown all the stuff outside my 🏠 house..
I'd rather set the house on fire
it shows how with no CGI, no special fxs, no make up it's still possible to startle the viewer. Nice job
i really like your use of the house’s natural sound to create discomfort. the viewer knows what’s coming so this builds tension between the inevitable antagonist and the main character. well done

Just commented above. Even the violin chord to signify a "jump" sounds straight out of _Doctor Who._ It's actually quite blatant...

Totally love the mannequin mythos of having to always look at them once they're "attached" to you. I enjoyed this. Good job
First person that gets rid of creepy things in horror movies
"Things in the world" haven't been uncertain for me (or any sane person) at all over the past year and change. Most people just chose to lose their perspective. Nothing anyone is going through is unique. When mannequins start moving around, _then_ it's time to be afraid.
Finally Somebody who instead of investigating, got a weapon and hit that thing and threw it, they also ran out the house too, PROPS TO THIS GUY
If the creaking stairs and mattress were sound effects, they were overdone. If not, that house sounds like it needs help. Solid effort though.

This was a good short film. The part where the phone goes off and he looks over and then looks back with the mannequin right in front of him was great! 😮
Even though I don't consider modern mannequins to be creepy, because they don't have faces, this still scared the crap out of me. Great work my friend!

I love the way he drags it along the hallway floor as if it’s the weight of a person 🤣
I think the Mannequin represents a victim, a victim that this man might've killed, maybe out of self defense, and now it's haunting him via the Mannequin. It'd explain the perspective when the Mannequin gets konked over the head.
I felt the same, and then the way he drags the mannequin out of his doorway, it felt as if he was dragging a body
I love how much this feels like a couple of friends found a mannequin and decided to make a film with it. Almost feels kinda meta, like now you the filmmakers have the mannequin curse for making this movie.
Well he has 'Bo peep' in his house.

It’s like “Darumasan Ga Korindo”,a traditional game in Japan.
Whats the game about?
Pick one up as an“Oni”,and the others run away from he or she. You can move only when Oni is covering its eyes saying “Darumasan ga Korinda”. After that,Oni will look back and see you. During Oni is looking back you can’t move at all. If you couldn’t keep still,Oni would catch you soon.

You know, as a kid mannequins use to freak me out a bit, especially when they were clothed and hidden behind shelved locations in the shop.
