Mercedes W207 C300 EIS Swap, Key, EIS, and ESL or ELV Programming With CGDI MB

ORIGINAL EIS WAS DAMAGED
SWAPPED IT WITH ANOTHER USED ONE AND PROGRAM IT. PROGRAMMED ELV SIMULATOR OR STEERING LOCK. PROGRAMMED ANOTHER KEY.

I was able to diagnose a 2010 c class that the switch was bad. I had the same issue where i could not read the password. i used a combination of autel, benz monster, and vvdimbtool. I was able to get the car started by using your password technique and of course with a new key, new -usedswitch, and esl emulator. thanks again for your video! keep up the good work!

Hello thank you for this useful information I'm asking what tool is best for BMW i already have autel but it's seems like autel is enough for BMW but asking between Autohex 2 and CGDI BMW with one is better ???

Confusing!! I had a similar case with my Mercedes Sprinter. At the end I had to buy a set unit to get it going. Tomorrow I will try this (using the old unit) and let you all know if it works. I will do exactly what was done here and see if it works. I will make a video for it. From my understanding here is that you can create your own password, write it to the EIS (ignition lock) and ELV (steering lock) and you should be good to go. If this is the case, I will kill myself because I've spend around €1000 to solve the problem. Woo.

I know it can be really frustrating and confusing. Just read data of the original one and save it with another password you choose ( use from another random Mercedes password) and save it. Than just write it into new eis and steering lock. Than program another key with new info and should be done.

@@huyug1 That's exactly what I understood. If I watched your video earlier, I would have saved a €1000. I have learned something from you today that is worth a million. As I have said. @@huyug1 Hi. I tried this on my Sprinter. Unfortunately you cannot write to the EIS on the Sprinter using CGDI MB, unless you read and write the Eeprom & Flash using other programmers i.e. VVDI Prog. I will definitely use your method on a different Mercedes.
