Back around 2003 early 2004 I made a poll on the Iron Maiden forum and the question was,what was the studio album that either got you into the band or the first one you heard and I was surprised when 75% picked Brave New World.

I adore Bruce Dickinson for many reasons beyond his vocal ability. The man is a "machine" in all of his endeavors. Sad to hear he and Geoff Tate didn't see eye-to-eye. Tate is my favorite metal vocalist hands-down, followed closely by Bruce. However, Geoff proved himself an asshole over time, which may be why Bruce wasn't a fan. I'd have to agree, sadly. Geoff has fallen off my radar where Bruce remains on it.
