This Prime Crime is better than most regular TV shows. If you like True Crime shows this is a must watch. I'd give it 9 out of 10 on the must watch scale
I am from Brazil. I have been following this case for some yrs now. I am so glad she lost her brazilian citizenship and her chance of avoiding to take responsability for her coward killing. She killed him once and by saying he was abusive she is trying to kill him again. I don't believe a word of what comes out of her mouth. What a manipuletive, evil woman.
Next time Brazil harbors someone like this for 10 years, someone should be held responsible. Then again, half of Brazil is trying to move here so ethics is probably not a big priority .
I’ve noticed in these shows they like to show old pictures of the accused when they looked better. She’s definitely more than 10 years older in her interrogation. She’s completely grey and looks a lot older.
From clips I have seen, there were real tears in this case at times. Mostly when she was remembering things that affected her badly, (such as when she was talking about her miscarriage), but nevertheless there were tears
stress of knowing what you did to someone maybe but yes she was beautiful and now looks old and tired.. 10 years isn't long unless you are maybe living a lie etc
What was the motive for the murder? Doesn't seem like she made any money from it, in fact she surely lost out by having to return to her old life in Brazil. Her marriage to him got her US citizenship, I'm amazed she didn't just divorce him, get a nice settlement and get to stay in the States. If she'd had a life insurance policy to cash in I could understand it but she doesn't appear to have benefited at all from killing him. Weird.
Psychologist seems to think she has borderline personality disorder which makes a person fear abandonment to the extreme, so him wanting to leave her was likely a big factor. The friend said she said she would kill him if he left her. 🤯
@@sflo4538 Ah, that makes sense. It's usually abusive men who murder women when they reject/leave them. Sounds like this is the same dynamic with the sexes switched.
All this could have been avoided, if his first wife wasn't crazy. In one of the audio recordings he mentions Rhonda having 4 marriages. If an Airline Pilot / Military Officer can't find a decent woman...This case encapsulates a lot of problems in this country.
@Eric H if every wife he has was crazy then we need to look at him more as well. Everyone you marry can’t be crazy, eventually you have to look at yourself as well. And I don’t know what him being a military officer has with him finding a good woman, I know nurses who give their lives to their patients and give of themselves to their career who can’t find a good man. It’s the same all around.
@@sflo4538 The psychologists on the show don’t know as much as they think they do. I don’t see this woman as having BPD. She’s much too calm and controls her words and actions unlike someone with BPD. BPD is greatly misunderstood and the psychiatric system is quite poor. They didn’t even acknowledge narcissism until recently and you can hardly find a therapist who knows anything about it. The DSM in America along with the mental health system is a Rockefeller run joke.
Brazil doesn't accept a 2nd citizenship by marriage. Our law says that if you ask for another citizenship you are then relinquishing your brazilian one. But not everybody knows that and i believe it was the first time brazilian authorities used it to strip somebody of his/her citizenship. You can only have dual citizenship (being a native brazilian) by blood line, f.e. if you get a 2nd citizenship because one of your parents are foreign.

I’m getting the impression that the psychologists on this show don’t always know what they’re talking about. Does that one woman who said Claudia has Borderline Personality Disorder even know what the traits are? Claudia doesn’t act like she has that particular disorder. She didn’t snap and she’s not overly emotional like someone with BPD would be. She planned that murder and she’s talking about the whole thing very casually and with a smile on her face. That’s not BPD.🙄
My thoughts exactly. Where was the proof. I’m thinking that when his family got the house handed back over to them, and didn’t find any of that, then they would 100% know she was lying and could be comforted by that fact.
On the other side though, did the prosecution raise such questions in the case? I do find it strange that many things were not questioned more by police/the lawyers. But of course, she did plead guilty to murder. It is the type of murder that was in question, and if there were any mitigating circumstances
