Why give them an idea to make more money now? Instead of creating an inhouse Bot by Bigpoint (probably full of bugs again), they should instead deflate value of uridium, make cashing rewarding, but no overpowering. And maybe even transition to cashing for only cosmetics. This "pay to get this and that to beat everyone in pvp concept" is not up to date anymore. There's literally no demand for a game that is based off this principle. We want games that reward high skill and some degree of grinding. But not another inhouse bot + Premium + rebate, like dude that's gonna hurt everyones wallet again. Probably more than 300$ a year for a game that was still running in browser till this day. It's basically a mobile game, and mobile games already got enough hate for pay 2 win mechanics. This is just my opinion, if you disagree leave a dislike but don't just insult. Thanks

I have played for about 8 years or so , left the game several times and came back as it gave me a rush of adrenaline like nothing else. When I finally quit for good I realized how much time ,literally thousands of hours I have spent just to get uri and a hangar with maxed ships and lf4 . It was the fighting amongst clans and wars that made it so good to play. The killing of thousands of “creatures” was just a huge waste of time. I was an addict but I don’t miss it all. The bots have always been in the game and did the job for you as it was stupid to stay online 12 hours a day so you can have enough ammo to fight in the weekend, so they have been helping getting the necessary resources. The creators of bots got very creative and made them so much better and then came the autolock with the auto change of ammo and that was bad . Big Point had to ban all the bot users regardless and like this have decimated the user base to where the game is now . I remember before I quit ,flying all three factions and all the maps and couldn’t find more that a couple of ships here and there and that was on EG2 . The way i see a comeback for DO is only if they make it so much easier to obtain everything in the game by simply grinding every day or by creating their own bot that keeps your ship botting and getting all you need without you spending your life online . Autolock is out of discussion obviously. They have a dying game in their hands , i bet they can get much more money from monthly fees for bots and premium than what they get presently from their sales of uri for instance. Some passionate players hate the thought of bots for good reasons but having no one to play with is definitely worse. I took a look at the game and it’s latest additions last year and found it so difficult to comprehend how everything works , they have made it very complicated and a new player will most likely get stuck on the way and as we tend to run out of patience it is unlikely for them to become a regular player. the botting isnt the issue, its the expensive prices in the game that force players to rely on botting. Want ammo? better farm uridium. Want drone designs? better farm uridium to open gates. Want a good pilot sheet? better farm uridium. Want to compete in pvp? better farm uridium for boosters, rockets, rsb and mines, and spend money on premium. The issue was never the bots, it was always the increase in demand for uridium. Make shit cheaper, and players wont have a reason to bot. You're also making a horrible comparison, comparing cod and cs:go to darkorbit. Darkorbit is as much an arena shooter like a cow is to a piece of bread.

Exactly. 670k Uri for 8 iris, 310k for 31 lf3 150k for 15 bo2 250k Uri for any B tier ship 10,475 mil for 50PP (which is totally needed in PvP by default) ~600k palladium for 1 Kronos gate (for upgrades), you need like 500 of them to get around max upgrade lvl of lasers 1mln uri for any tier A+, tier S ship Several millions uri for Apis+Zeus drones And finally, Indoctrine Oil, which is like impossible to get in a fast way. You can get it by making gates in the middle of a week or during events (which are also farm alike)
Bot using is harming everyone, even you. For example I have been playing this game for seven years and NEVER used bot. It was so many hours on maps just farming and I have lost so much time. But people with bot get full acc quickly and they dont need to do anything. Thats not fair.
I think Bigpoint should create their own bot. Nowadays people are forced to purchase bot from other sites, bots ain´t cheap and cost decent amount of money. Adding their own bot into the game would make them additional revenue as more people would enjoy playing without needed grind.
@@redditfm4578 Darkorbit is not the same game as Lol or cs:go whatever. Here you have to either play a lot or pay a lot to get an equipment and to be competitive against the other players. Since everything in DO leads to pvp combat, this grind is just necessary thing to do, if you are not rich af of course. As i said, DO is all about pvp fights, boting just gives you an opportunity to play the game as intended, not to grind your ass off at palla or 4-2. If you got additional hundreds of hours to spare, lucky you. To answer your question; Point of the game is still the same, to be the best obviously. Well but such title requires plenty of a play time or tons of money to spend. Boting is just cheaper way to get stronger in game, if you cant afford to throw 100€ away. Also, people abuse them to finish their pvp tasks so even weaker players can get them completed. They are at 5-3 most of the time, but every time you fight a ship at 1v1, its always a real player.
@@redditfm4578 I do agree, but this game exists since 2006. It has the same gameplay mechanics for 14 years, either grind or pay. This concept can not be rebuild in few months nor years. Also 14 years is really honourable achievement for a free to play game. Unfortunately, every f2p game has to end eventually and darkorbit is not far from it´s destiny. They are aware of such fact so they act like every company would, to get as much money as possible. It would be really nice to get new darkorbit with different approach for pvp gear, but this dream may not ever come true.
This game really had a lot potential. However, Bigpoint didn't properly adress important issues of the game which led to the situation we have today. If I imagine a DarkOrbit in a healthy state, any type of cheat or bug abusing would be banned. Why do I say that? Well, if DarkOrbit actually was a fair and healthy game, there wouldn't be such a strong appeal to cheat in the first place. Apparently there is high appeal to cheating because the game is extremely grindy if you wanna participate in endgame (PvP, rank chasing) and Bigpoint hardly punishes anyone for breaking the ToS. Cheating is widely tolerated in the community which is obvious since BP didn't manage to create a fair environment. ~Zers
These people killed the game! Before, there were them again, but they were banned, and now it's just a horror ... They are everywhere, the cards are empty, these people become full elites in less than 2/3 months. I do not use programs and I can say that these people killed the pleasure of the game! A game in which you do not play with people, but with bots is a waste of time, a lack of any pleasure!
Hey killmedium, big fan. I was thinking a lot about this topic, and personally, i think DarkOrbit should create a whole new, and large global server, where everyone starts from 0, and on these server/servers, they should heavily punish all bot users, or just completely shut down bots, only on this one gieant server. I actually enjoyed to start playing DO again, from a fresh account, but imaigne how fun it would be, where the would be a giant server with full of active players, and none of them would use bots to grind and get to the top. Yes, there woud be some crazy players still who would spend an insane amout of money on uridium, yet, it would be still a lot more well balanced experience.
Itd be a lot more p2w, very disencouraging. The only way to make this game somewhat fair is to practically do what you said but delete uridium, or at least the top items should be achievable without money. Thats no good for business though also bots keep this game alive. You can improve without grinding for 200 hours to get a few more thousands more to your x1 damage. Its either no bot no uridium or bot and uridium, you know what they gon choose. Server idea brings overpopulated map issues as well as huge network issues, its impossible really. Its a nice thought though, like it was back in the day, not every level 1 has goli etc.
New servers and reset of any kind are a fake solution and many, many, many games over the years have proved it. You can't fix anything if you don't fix the core problem of your game. When you do a reset, a new server or whatever, it's super cool for a few months, maybe a year, but then people have progressed and all your old problems came back and players ask for a new server again lol. You fix nothing with a reset if you don't actually change your game. As for "completelly shut down bots", it's not like it's even technically possible, you know... Or if you know how to just shut down bots and other kind or cheats, well try to sell your solution to gaming companies 'cuse that would make you RICH bro.
3:20 Well, that's basically the whole point of an MMORPG, grinding, leveling, getting equipment and so on. You can't really compare it with an FPS. It has gotten really easy to get a good account without spending that much money. The difference between usual bots that finish quests or gates and autolocks is that autolocks affect the PvP aspect of the game while an NPC shooting bot doesn't. An NPC shooting bot does also not improve your abilities and skills but only your equipment while autolocks help you to improve your skills by having quicker reaction times for example. I can't see any way they are going to fix this problem with bots and autolocks and I think that there is only one way to save this game which is by implementing a second DarkOrbit server that requires you to pay for a subscription in order to play on that server. This server would be completely up to the players, so the people playing on it decide which version of the game they want to play. But you are mostly right, the game is dying and there isn't really anything they can do against bots because those are 90% of their player base.
Well you should leave the game even while botting. If you are not the one that plays for the account, then you shouldnt even be playing it in the first place. The point of playing the game is getting better. Not let NPC grind it all for you just so you can then ruin it for everyone else. -_-

Call me insane or whatever but I just started playing aboug 1 week ago from scratch, without any intention of using bots, ever. Because doing that just turns the game from a MMO into an idle game. And by god, I hate that type of games
I sometimes check back on this channel to see if they've banned all bots yet. They should start one big new server for non bot players. I want to play this game, but can't be bothered to farm that much to compete with these UFE players. It would be cool if there were just a few, but most people are maxed.
They won't ban bot users because every single bot, from Dope to Vertex, has a deal with BP: every time you pay for a bot licence, a part of the amount goes to BP. Bot takes the game alive and they perfectly know it. Plus, every bot user has Premium and some other discount subscription, so they won't lose money anyway.
It's my 4° day using bot for collecting palladium, already 2.6k energy, i started using because that's really the only way i can build a portal without quitting the game, i need just more 2 havoc, i NEVER made so much energy in darkorbit because i always got bored easily, i'm booting just because i'll get more uridium, more X4, more green keys to get my apis and zeus, and i won't get bored doing that because it's not me doing it, i need that to at least survive 3 shots from a full lv16 prometheus + moth suicide config. I don't understand why people use autolock in a game that already has a "autolock" when you click a ship, just why? is that so difficult to click on the screen? You can instead of farming go to work, make some money and buy uridium. It's the most time/cost-effective way to play the game. Oh yeah, use a bot to farm gates.

I mean, to get the amount of Uri you would need without botting, you would need to spend about 200€ a month maybe. That's a nice vacation trip to somewhere, don't get me wrong.
About those diminishing rewards...best way to do in my opinion is palladium...using vertex....600k uri a week + tons of log files tons of log files etc

More rewards from galaxy gates? Is this some kind of dark humor or something? Galaxy gates are way too rewarding and that's one of the thing that actually helped kill this game: The best way to spend your time to progress is doing Galaxy gates, nothing in the game come close in terms of rewards, including ranking points. So people ended-up doing two things: Farming Palladium and then run Galaxy gates, and that's it. All the other maps are dead because there is just no point doing anything in them when you can make ten times more rewards if you do a Galaxy Gate instead. Making the outside NPC more rewarding on the other hand, yes, much more interesting.
how is bot harming the company? A lot of players using bot also spending money for do,as you said for premium and discount. SO,they still get their money,and ppl still have fun
If it's not allowed it should be punished. Do you want to know why it is impossible to ban bot users? They have to detect bot users. Right now, they can do it easily. After that, the creators of bot programs will update them so they become undetectable. How? Well... It's actually pretty easy to simulate user input. The same applies to any other thing (autolock, autoswitch, autobuy, etc.). If it was possible to detect and ban cheaters and they did it. The game would just die. Bot users pay premium and stuff. And how many players would have left? 10 per server? And they would just quit too. Yeah, they could just shut the game if they did that. By banning cheaters nothing is solved. That's why BP didn't do it. The only solution that comes to my mind is to create an official bot. "Autopilot" or something. It would cost uridium. Or real money but less than other bots. But that would just legalize bots. It still wouldn't solve the fact the game is dead. And they can't really do anything about it. They would have to try hard to improve the game, solve problems why new players quit and advertise the game a lot. But they won't do it. Otherwise, they would have done it already. It's their fault. They are killing their own game. Just quit and move on.
It is possible to make this game alive again. And it's pretty simple. What I don't understand is why BP doesn't do anything. Fixing bugs and implementing new stuff takes them ages. It feels like 5 students were working on this game. Not a company with 10 years of experience. I believe I alone would do a much better job than them when it comes to this. Do I sound cocky? What about private servers? People running them are clearly able to do a better job than BP...
As someone who knows how this stuff works, I'm pretty sure BP knows all of this. I believe they know more then we do. They just don't act. They don't interact with their community. They are not doing anything. They are not trying. That's why I have no hopes for this game.

i just started the game a month ago and it's extremely frustrating to shot down by some UFE autolock users (yes i use emp or trying to zig-zag my movement but im being targeted anyways WITHIN the 3 second EMP untargetable window) or encountering bots 24/7 on BL maps also i wouldn't mind if BP made a bot for the game (i still would be a manual player), it would maybe draw in more players and they could make more money to finally move the client to an engine that wouldn't shit itself if there is more than 2 ships on your screen (im rocking the game on a system that runs the latest AAA games on at least high graphics but darkorbit can't handle 60 fps)
I guess the problem is the part of grinding thats all. If they demolish grinding in this game and expand the ship pool with new abilities and add different playing styles, then the game will be as perfect as any other famous games. We need a skill-needed game not grind-must game.
I disagree with you. Because of bots so many people are leaving yea ofc there are also many other problems. You don't know what gonna happend if they go start banning bots! I agree with that. In certain terms the game is a dinosaur and it really needs some adjustments to fit today's standards. A good F2P game should be appealing to both non-paying players and spenders in order to have a satisfied playerbase.
Autolock is just unskilled. U are botting just to have ammo to fight or this is what my clan doing at least. I could easily win against many autolockers but when I sm doing emp instantly locked again.(motu from ge5 are all autolockers^_^)
Venomous-Brawl Stars ignore him. This Miguel Guy is from 667/Motu that’s why he is d!ckriding them so much and defending them. It is a well known fact that Motu use autolock on ge5 server. Without it, they’d of been erased & would be irrelevant. Literally the only thing that is carrying them is 667 (who use autolock aswell).
I came back after like 5-6 years and noticed the bot presence. I didnt care that much until i saw literal newbie with leonov and 2 flax (or iris, or one for each) botting. Then i just said ´´f**k it´´ and left the game (just right now). Like, if you are planning to use a bot to grind for you, then you shouldnt even have an account in the first place. It is about the grinding. But if you let bot do it, then whats the point of playing, right? Also, the skylab is not working. -_-
You are wrong about bots killing aliens because normal players can't shoot anything for their quest. For example trying to collect rinusk in BL maps bots come and shot also. It's well known that only first five will get rinusks from Invokes. So weak players don't have a chance to collect rinusks neither from Invokes nor from Impulses. I don't discuss the matter for the programs which do the battles instead of the player. It's hilarious even discussing it. EVERY bot player should be BANNED. This is my opinion.
I left the game 1 year ago, I just came to see how your channel is doing and to like the video, you still have a good content man, it is just there is so little players playing DO so your channel is not going to rank up, I suggest you change the game, and not to lose your viewers play a game similar to DO, like EVE online
In my opinion the best time of the game was 2008 to 2010, after they started putting a lot of new things in the game was lost and the bot's appeared. At that time America Global 1 had 100k and today it is only 20k players and a large part no longer play like me, in short they ended the game and do not know what else to do! The price and a game package that costs 50 USD for us in Brazil costs 300USD for the same package. Ridiculous!
Botting is a good way for dark orbit. You shouldnt spend ur time for getting ur acc better. I am studing 5 days a week and i just using bot to check my acc every morning and see amount of uri and so. It is doing me happier. Iam going for playing by hands for pvp or bp days. Its ok for every mmorpg game even ultima online had it. I think they should made their own bot for premium players its best decision for them.
imo the bot problem is a very sensible one. I think the majority of ppl using bot are making it for the quests, uridium is not a problem at the actual state of the game. take for exemple that 17500 saboteurs quest, how long will you have to take play to finnish that? Months! these quest were added as end game quests in the time, when there was nothing else to do, but now they added more stuff and these quests are still there, you have to get past these long ass quests to grind better equipment effectively. I really am hoping that once they get a real client (not using flash) and they will be able to detect botting more easily, they start fixing their quests, because right now it is just so discouraging to do them.
1. i think that they should have their own legal bot, but only for npc. otherwise if you could also bot gg, rank would be as worthless as it is now with vertex. I don´t see why botting npc should be a big problem. games like duel links also have a built in feature to battle npc automatically, and there´s zero problems with other bots there either. 2. of course autolockers should be banned holy shit on my server the first plutus event was pmpossible to play because one clan´s CCs all had atutolock on everyone around the event npc. 3. I think that trading accounts should be legal and bp could make themselves the neutral MM and transfer full ownership of the accounts. This is an even more obvious case for me than the botting issue, since it would make them tons of money and there´s literally no way aside from maybe NSA-style IP-tracking to effectively combat account trading / selling
honestly no bot from bigpoint it's dumb. just make it so a bot isn't needed. This 10,000 hour playtime needed bullshit get rid of it. quadruple rewards etc or multiple by however much it takes. simple point is to make it in the game there is no end it takes ridiculous amounts of time to get maxed and even then when you are to maintain all the things needed for pvp techs sep cloaks rsb boosters x4 to craft is stupid amounts of more time in bl maps or insanely large amounts of uri it's fucked you can't maintain pvp in a pvp game. I can load up other games and just get to it 100% time playing and improving now in a game like this it's fine to spend some time farming for shit to use fighting but it should be at worst 30% farm 70% everything else instead it's 95% farm 5% everything else if you don't bot the account your using get's whittled down until it's bare bones. I literally get asked by people in 1v1s can we use x3 rsb and no emps or smartbombs cause they have none of those no techs etc THEY WANT TO FUCKING PLAY but can't this is what's wrong make the game fucking playable properly then say from this coming day forward no bots.

It should take time to get full elite that is why they did the game the way they did. I cant see were the fun is in botting? Everyone appearantly dont see it this way but i think using a bot takes the fun out of the game. The most fun aspect of darkorbit is the buildup you need to do to get good at it. Being full elite is fun in its own way but alot of the reasons i play is behind me at that point.
I dont know for what exact reason people using autolock, we should make survey but I'm 100% sure that there is group of people that isn't autolock because ping is so high and when somebody flying really fast and flying zig zag there is no way to click on it if you clicking on place where you see it because ping is so high and doesnt register click on time. I've been saying it for years, the moment they put CBS for some reason I don't know why game is much less fluid, like ping is way to high. In the past they had TV commercials, that is how I get in the game, it was on MTV or something. This days I believe more people from eastern Europe play the game than from Germany. Imagine you are 2000km away from server how fun ping would be. Also FPS is unstable doesn't matter how much you payed for pc. I have a friend that went in a store and ask to build them pc and than test darkorbit how playable it is, than change components to find best setup for darkorbit and guess what, it wasn't with most expensive components. Every time when you have even 2 fps drops you feel it so much, i don't know why but its is how it is, you feel it. Lets say game can run up to 250 fps and you lock it on 60, it will be stable on 60 and you won't have lags, why they dont do it, my guess is, they servers can't handle or they have wrong employees. I agree with fact that most people stick because of friendship, they have something in common they share. About bots, they should be legal, if you like grind you wouldn't use it anyway and mostly if you like grind you don't like pvp, if you like pvp and hate to grind than just use it and have fun in pvp. I'm yet to met player who like to do both. I never met general who never left gates that like pvp, i just didn't. There was idea many years ago that there should be separate ranking for PVP and PVE so you as PVP player don't feel like shit with chief colonel or colonel if you are best PVP player. That rank you used to get naturally with doing gate for x4 so you can fight if you bought honor booster.
in 2020 we play darkorbit for pve because we are forced to, if youre not ufe then its not worth it to pvp, but it takes ages to reach ufe even with a bot. I just want to pvp, but not gonna kill 5 million mobs to get there

The economy of the game is very grindy, is just bs (to get a 10k shield you need to kill about 80 bk, in the lowers is just insanely much more), so to be able to enjoy the game (so you can protect yourself) you have to sit for like 4 hrs/day for 2 weeks and that only leaves you full lasers and shields, irises and some parts of skill tree, and then there's added the prometheus, the havocs, hercs (only through gg, and chance based), the rest of skill tree, and yeah the ammo helps with that, but that also got high price, such bs is unplayable
@KillmediuM bots dont harm anyone? what about the real players trying to farm ? i mean, for example cub maps, there are 4 cubs, and usualy ATLEAST 3-4 bots farming cubs, how are you as real player supposed to farm ur uri? of course for them it doesn't matter if more ppl shoot, because they bot the whole day anyway. but for you as not bot user it matters. 2nd : bots always have the advantage in PVP as long as new stuff comes out. for example : prometheus. bots had it within days, for a real player, it took a month maybe? ( and even then he had to be reaally active). i hope im gonna get an answer from you to that, im curious what u think about this points

@@pepitoeldrogas7632 ye btw, thats what the game is mader for: grinding. it was WAY more fun back then when not everyone way botting, there were people in all kinds of equip gears. so you could (doesn't matter how strong u were) find someone to fight with. and now, if ur not full ur fucked cuz most ppl are botting and will just smash you, not because they are better player, most ppl who bot are actualy horrible fighters. but u need atleast the drones, spartans /herc the some lasers ( u dont even need prometheus to beat most bot users, new lf4's work fine too, even the old ones work against some of them) and ammo of course. to get all of that. you will need maybe 2-4 months. Man is impossible to keep going farming every day, there's no way to evolve in 2020 because 1 gg cost maybe 70~100 k in events, a normal players farming 2 hours per day gains 10k every day (I talk abbout non premium and noobs) ? So how is possible to play 4 fun if u dont pay or dedicate your life for this game? I think that to this game keep interesting for new players have to lower requirements for pve and pvp, no have any necessarily to evolve this confs every day, i need more ways to play, more strategies. No keep incress damage, shield or hp, that's enough. ( I sorry for my English if u dont understand anything, because im brazilian n i don't have fluency, ok ?)

I play on USA west and the #3 on the server is a bit constantly in 1-7 just killing npcs. Shoot him once he runs to port jumps then Jumps back and continues botting lol
Ich finde auch das Autolock viel schlimmer als botusen ist. Aber das bedeutet nicht das Botusen normal ist oder sein sollte. Bloß weil du (wir) eine gewisse Gruppe von spielen PvP lieben kannst du nicht das Tool bestrafen das pvp zerstört und das Tool nicht bestrafen das Pve zerstört. Es gibt auch Leute die ausschließlich auf Rang oder Level spielen, pve Spieler. Und ich bin mir sicher genug Pvp Spieler lieben auch ihren Rang. Ich finde es fahrlässig einen eigene bot auf den Markt zu bringen... das wäre einfach sinnlos. Ich verstehe aber deinen Punkt, die bots sollten weg. Am besten wäre es man konzipiert Darkorbit wie WoW. Man verlangt monatlich Geld, hat gute Server, und Gear und Equipment muss viel leichter zu Farmen sein damit man nach kurz bis mittel langer Zeit je nach dem wie man spielt voll ist. Man entwendet auch das Payment System und passt halt alle so an das man nichts mehr cashen brauch sondern nur Farmen. Dann wäre es nice, keine bots = faires pve, kein tools. Faires euqipment monatlicher Preis von vlt 30€, dafür viel mehr uri und muni und equiment mit einem legitimen zeitaufwand zu erfarmen. Das wäre die einzig Ware Lösung... übrigens das Model von WoW. Würde mich freuen wenn du mir hier eine Meinung hier drauf schreibst.
I hate both botters and autolockers. On an average Pve player's perspective, I have a hard time bonus box farming when botters and their PETs get to the boxes first. autolocks are even worse. Giving pvpers an unfair advantage and being able to effortlessly lock on you even after the classic emp + cloak CPU trick.
This game is a complete joke with all the cheaters. Just go on BL maps and see the swarm of bots grouping at the boss, on GE1 you have like 2 seconds to shoot the boss before the bots kill it. Also people with top ranks cheating blatantly, autolocking on you in stealth with a bunch of other targets to throw him off. I don't even understand the people who play this game at all, even with cheats.

Isn't the game that had problems with bot called Metin2? Alot of people were botting and they made an auto farmer but you need to pay for it, but at least it's leggit and you don't get ban.
I would just punish the boters, for example: -100% honor, -50% exp, all the equipment reduced to it's one half of amount. Yes, a lot of players would quit the game afterwards, but that's their problem. I just want boters to understand real farming. If there would be a small amount of players then, just make one big server. I'm tired of killing players without any respond from them whatsoever. Just ban them or punish them hardly, regardless what will happen with the game, because it's already more than dead. I would kill (in real life) players who aren't affected by my ish, emp, ship skill,...., or who makes emp or ish 10 times in a minute and still get destroyed because he's fucking boter without any skill.
The time and efford required to get UFE is wayy to much for the casual player. For me a "speed server", starting parallel to the usual servers in the new client would be awesome. In this one Uri and Credit rewards are for example x10 and you can also buy some items and stuff that you usually can't, for example seprom, so you dont have to wait for skylab to produce it. On this specific Server, not a single bot/tool should be allowed and any account that used one should be wiped completely. Events should come far more often in a repeating schedule, maybe even one event every evening (spaceball, crazy cubikons etc.) As you said pve is a lot more interesting for a lot of players (including myself) than pvp, which is why randomly getting killed by some pvp wannabe rambos all the time gets really frustrating and just makes you wanna quit sometimes, so pvp or more the opportunity to choose whether you want it or not on pve maps of your own faction should be reworked (passive mode with cooldown?) Just a server where you feel like you CAN get everything by hand without wasting hundreds and hundreds of hours while being killed by overfarmed botusers. This server could make much use out of premium/rabatte and double bonus boxes, as well as probably some new buff mechanics which don't kill grinding nor pvp but are quite usefull for a little bit faster progress for your hard work. If Bonus boxes would be a little bit better than now, people would buy the double bonus. Btw Boxing makes you like 10.000-15.000 uri/hour with double boxes, that's what shooting krisos with x2 gives you later. How about some sort of buff that makes shooting Aliens more profitable too? 10€/month for 25-30% bonus rewards from Alien kills seems still ok to me. You still have to work for your uri tho
People don't have what to play darkorbit for and maybe 50 % of the botters bot 24/7 for this useless rank. If we have JPA, much more players will care about stills in the game and not rank. Pleople will stop using autolock alone, because they will see it can't help them in JPA :P Just look at the events they put: where is the fun of doing x-7 gates or shooting purple kristallons? Of course they won't have anyone doing it by hand...

Well, I guess we just live a different era of gaming. 4/5 months to complete the progression in an MMO used to be the norm and is nothing chocking for me. But young gamers are used to fast food games where you just log-in and get your quick action in half an hour and forget about it. I guess that's just how games work in 2020+.

die frage ob man botter bannen sollte stellt sich überhaupt nicht. das spiel ist einfach zu scheiße geworden um es regulär zu spielen, wenn man einem neuen spieler erzählt das er sich um im spiel erfolgreich zu sein ertsmal einen bot installieren muss der den großteil der arbeit erledigt, wird der sich wohl an den kopf fassen und sich fragen wofür er das spiel dann überhaupt anfangen sollte. weder bigpoint noch die botter haben verstanden das der weg das ziel sein sollte, ich sollte spaß dabei haben mich hochzugrinden und nicht das hochgrinden einem bot überlassen damit man später mal spass am dominieren schwächerer spieler haben kann. man muss es realistisch sehen wer bottet der möchte einen punkt erreichen wo er stärker als andere spieler ist, sprich gebottet wird um sich einen vorteil im pvp zu verschaffen sehe nicht wo das so ein riesen unterschied zu autolock sein soll. egal was von beidem man nutzt es ist unfair gegenüber dem rest, der sich den spielregeln entsprechend verhält. du sagst in deinem video im grunde das regeln gebogen und gebrochen werden sollten wenn es dem zweck dienlich ist, man sollte nicht alle botter bannen denn das würde den tod des spiels bedeuten, das ist wie zu sagen den mörder sollten wir einsperren aber bei dieben können wir zum wohle des systems eine ausnahme machen. darkorbit ist bereits sogut wie tot das ist wie ein patient der nur noch von maschinen am leben gehalten wird und vor sich hinwegitiert, man hat es nur noch nicht übers herz gebracht die stecker zu ziehen. lässt darkorbit den bottern freien lauf werden sich kaum leute dazu entscheiden mit dem spiel zu beginnen und die spielerbase wird durch die ungleichen verhältnisse auch stück für stück wegbrechen, bannt man alle bots bricht auch die playerbase weg weil mehr leute rausfliegen als nachkommen. doch letzteres ist immer noch sinnvoller da so zumindest die chance auf eine zukunft besteht auch wenn man das spiel grunderneuern und neu bewerben müsste und das wohl ein aufwand wäre der jedem zu riskant wäre. ich spiele inzwischen pink galaxy und trauere um meinen do account welcher leider jeglichen spaß,sinn und damit auch wert für mich verloren hat. sobald darkorbit nicht mehr profitabel ist werden sie die server abschalten, es wird alles getan um es profitabel zu halten, anstatt preise zu verändern fügt man einfach immer neuen teuren kram hinzu, und natürlich muss dieser kram immer deutlich besser sein als der bestehende kram um ein möglichst großen anreiz zu schaffen sich den neuen kram so schnell wie möglich zu besorgen, und am schnellsten gehts natürlich über echtgeld, das system ist einfach, virtuelles zeug für echtes geld verkaufen und den käufern damit ein kleines gefühl von macht in ihrer virtuellen welt vorgaukeln, es entfernt sich immer mehr davon ein spiel zu sein, ich finde nichtmal einen vergleich der verdeutlicht wie weit sich darkorbit schon vom sinn eines spiels entfernt hat, vlt. ungefähr soweit wie sich alkohol vom sinn eines lebensmittel entfernt hat. es gaukelt vor etwas zu sein das es nicht ist um die chance auf ein stück von deinem bankkonto zu bekommen, dir wird vermittelt es sei ein spiel in dem du dich ein bisschen hochfarmst und dich dann im pvp gegen ähnlich starke beweisen kannst und stück für stück immer stärkere gegner besiegen kannst aber die wirklichkeit sieht so aus das du für pvp bestimmte grundvorraussetzungen erfüllen musst und um diese zu erreichen musst du ein großteil deiner freizeit mit pve verbringen, erschwerend steigen diese vorrausetzung mit der zeit auch noch langsam was den weg noch länger werden lässt, und auf diesem weg begleitet dich bigpoint und weißt dich immer wieder mit einem preisschild auf eine mögliche abkürzung hin die aus einem 3 jahre laufweg einen 20 minuten businessclass flug machen würde, und wenn du dann mit vielen anderen die abkürzung genommen hast bist du kurz am ziel bis bigpoint entscheidet den weg weiter zu bauen um ein neues ziel aufzustellen und neue abkürzungen verkaufen zu können wenn ihr darkorbit reizvoll findet sucht euch ein guten privatserver aber speilt keinesfalls das original da wird nur das reizvolle interessante system ausgenutzt um euch abzuzocken, pink galaxy kann ich empfehlen aber ich schätze jeder privat server ist heute besser als das original
Ich hab auch schon gebottet, und ich stimme vollkommen zu das sowas nicht ins spiel gehört... aber ist es verwerflich das man sich als normalo der auch mal was erreichen möchte, ohne unmengen an Geld in das Spiel zu stecken sich wege sucht wie er trz irgendwie mithalten kann? Das Game ist- ohne spaß- so scheiße geworden eben weil man einfach keine chance hat wenn man nicht oben mitspielt, umd da bringen hexasales oder sowas auch nix. Es gibt mittlerweile soviele games die 1. Einfach besser sind in jeglicher hinsicht 2. Nicht auf Pay to win abziehlen 3. Keine monatlichen abos verlangen ( ausnahme wow , aber wow liefert auch ständig neuen kontent), natürlich gibt es das battlepass system, aber selbst in Darkorbit brauch man ihn eigentlich um vorran zu kommen, in anderen spielen brauch man ihn nicht.

Why give them an idea to make more money now? Instead of creating an inhouse Bot by Bigpoint (probably full of bugs again), they should instead deflate value of uridium, make cashing rewarding, but no overpowering. And maybe even transition to cashing for only cosmetics. This "pay to get this and that to beat everyone in pvp concept" is not up to date anymore. There's literally no demand for a game that is based off this principle. We want games that reward high skill and some degree of grinding. But not another inhouse bot + Premium + rebate, like dude that's gonna hurt everyones wallet again. Probably more than 300$ a year for a game that was still running in browser till this day. It's basically a mobile game, and mobile games already got enough hate for pay 2 win mechanics.

I have played for about 8 years or so , left the game several times and came back as it gave me a rush of adrenaline like nothing else. When I finally quit for good I realized how much time ,literally thousands of hours I have spent just to get uri and a hangar with maxed ships and lf4 . It was the fighting amongst clans and wars that made it so good to play. The killing of thousands of “creatures” was just a huge waste of time. I was an addict but I don’t miss it all. The bots have always been in the game and did the job for you as it was stupid to stay online 12 hours a day so you can have enough ammo to fight in the weekend, so they have been helping getting the necessary resources. The creators of bots got very creative and made them so much better and then came the autolock with the auto change of ammo and that was bad . Big Point had to ban all the bot users regardless and like this have decimated the user base to where the game is now . I remember before I quit ,flying all three factions and all the maps and couldn’t find more that a couple of ships here and there and that was on EG2 . The way i see a comeback for DO is only if they make it so much easier to obtain everything in the game by simply grinding every day or by creating their own bot that keeps your ship botting and getting all you need without you spending your life online . Autolock is out of discussion obviously. They have a dying game in their hands , i bet they can get much more money from monthly fees for bots and premium than what they get presently from their sales of uri for instance. Some passionate players hate the thought of bots for good reasons but having no one to play with is definitely worse. I took a look at the game and it’s latest additions last year and found it so difficult to comprehend how everything works , they have made it very complicated and a new player will most likely get stuck on the way and as we tend to run out of patience it is unlikely for them to become a regular player. Without new players it is “once again “ just a dying game. Best of luck to you all.

the botting isnt the issue, its the expensive prices in the game that force players to rely on botting. Want ammo? better farm uridium. Want drone designs? better farm uridium to open gates. Want a good pilot sheet? better farm uridium. Want to compete in pvp? better farm uridium for boosters, rockets, rsb and mines, and spend money on premium.
The issue was never the bots, it was always the increase in demand for uridium. Make shit cheaper, and players wont have a reason to bot.
You're also making a horrible comparison, comparing cod and cs:go to darkorbit. Darkorbit is as much an arena shooter like a cow is to a piece of bread.

Bot using is harming everyone, even you. For example I have been playing this game for seven years and NEVER used bot. It was so many hours on maps just farming and I have lost so much time. But people with bot get full acc quickly and they dont need to do anything. Thats not fair.
I think Bigpoint should create their own bot. Nowadays people are forced to purchase bot from other sites, bots ain´t cheap and cost decent amount of money. Adding their own bot into the game would make them additional revenue as more people would enjoy playing without needed grind.

Since everything in DO leads to pvp combat, this grind is just necessary thing to do, if you are not rich af of course.
As i said, DO is all about pvp fights, boting just gives you an opportunity to play the game as intended, not to grind your ass off at palla or 4-2. If you got additional hundreds of hours to spare, lucky you.
To answer your question; Point of the game is still the same, to be the best obviously. Well but such title requires plenty of a play time or tons of money to spend. Boting is just cheaper way to get stronger in game, if you cant afford to throw 100€ away. Also, people abuse them to finish their pvp tasks so even weaker players can get them completed. They are at 5-3 most of the time, but every time you fight a ship at 1v1, its always a real player.

@@redditfm4578 I do agree, but this game exists since 2006. It has the same gameplay mechanics for 14 years, either grind or pay. This concept can not be rebuild in few months nor years. Also 14 years is really honourable achievement for a free to play game. Unfortunately, every f2p game has to end eventually and darkorbit is not far from it´s destiny. They are aware of such fact so they act like every company would, to get as much money as possible. It would be really nice to get new darkorbit with different approach for pvp gear, but this dream may not ever come true.
This game really had a lot potential. However, Bigpoint didn't properly adress important issues of the game which led to the situation we have today. If I imagine a DarkOrbit in a healthy state, any type of cheat or bug abusing would be banned. Why do I say that? Well, if DarkOrbit actually was a fair and healthy game, there wouldn't be such a strong appeal to cheat in the first place. Apparently there is high appeal to cheating because the game is extremely grindy if you wanna participate in endgame (PvP, rank chasing) and Bigpoint hardly punishes anyone for breaking the ToS. Cheating is widely tolerated in the community which is obvious since BP didn't manage to create a fair environment.

These people killed the game! Before, there were them again, but they were banned, and now it's just a horror ... They are everywhere, the cards are empty, these people become full elites in less than 2/3 months. I do not use programs and I can say that these people killed the pleasure of the game! A game in which you do not play with people, but with bots is a waste of time, a lack of any pleasure!

I was thinking a lot about this topic, and personally, i think DarkOrbit should create a whole new, and large global server, where everyone starts from 0, and on these server/servers, they should heavily punish all bot users, or just completely shut down bots, only on this one gieant server. I actually enjoyed to start playing DO again, from a fresh account, but imaigne how fun it would be, where the would be a giant server with full of active players, and none of them would use bots to grind and get to the top. Yes, there woud be some crazy players still who would spend an insane amout of money on uridium, yet, it would be still a lot more well balanced experience.
Itd be a lot more p2w, very disencouraging. The only way to make this game somewhat fair is to practically do what you said but delete uridium, or at least the top items should be achievable without money. Thats no good for business though also bots keep this game alive. You can improve without grinding for 200 hours to get a few more thousands more to your x1 damage. Its either no bot no uridium or bot and uridium, you know what they gon choose. Server idea brings overpopulated map issues as well as huge network issues, its impossible really.
Its a nice thought though, like it was back in the day, not every level 1 has goli etc.
New servers and reset of any kind are a fake solution and many, many, many games over the years have proved it.
You can't fix anything if you don't fix the core problem of your game. When you do a reset, a new server or whatever, it's super cool for a few months, maybe a year, but then people have progressed and all your old problems came back and players ask for a new server again lol.

3:20 Well, that's basically the whole point of an MMORPG, grinding, leveling, getting equipment and so on. You can't really compare it with an FPS. It has gotten really easy to get a good account without spending that much money. The difference between usual bots that finish quests or gates and autolocks is that autolocks affect the PvP aspect of the game while an NPC shooting bot doesn't. An NPC shooting bot does also not improve your abilities and skills but only your equipment while autolocks help you to improve your skills by having quicker reaction times for example. I can't see any way they are going to fix this problem with bots and autolocks and I think that there is only one way to save this game which is by implementing a second DarkOrbit server that requires you to pay for a subscription in order to play on that server. This server would be completely up to the players, so the people playing on it decide which version of the game they want to play. But you are mostly right, the game is dying and there isn't really anything they can do against bots because those are 90% of their player base.
If they would just full send and change the game over to unity and make it a non browser game, this would possibly save DO.

Call me insane or whatever but I just started playing aboug 1 week ago from scratch, without any intention of using bots, ever. Because doing that just turns the game from a MMO into an idle game. And by god, I hate that type of games
I sometimes check back on this channel to see if they've banned all bots yet. They should start one big new server for non bot players. I want to play this game, but can't be bothered to farm that much to compete with these UFE players. It would be cool if there were just a few, but most people are maxed.

They won't ban bot users because every single bot, from Dope to Vertex, has a deal with BP: every time you pay for a bot licence, a part of the amount goes to BP. Bot takes the game alive and they perfectly know it. Plus, every bot user has Premium and some other discount subscription, so they won't lose money anyway.
It's my 4° day using bot for collecting palladium, already 2.6k energy, i started using because that's really the only way i can build a portal without quitting the game, i need just more 2 havoc, i NEVER made so much energy in darkorbit because i always got bored easily, i'm booting just because i'll get more uridium, more X4, more green keys to get my apis and zeus, and i won't get bored doing that because it's not me doing it, i need that to at least survive 3 shots from a full lv16 prometheus + moth suicide config.

Galaxy gates are way too rewarding and that's one of the thing that actually helped kill this game: The best way to spend your time to progress is doing Galaxy gates, nothing in the game come close in terms of rewards, including ranking points.
So people ended-up doing two things: Farming Palladium and then run Galaxy gates, and that's it. All the other maps are dead because there is just no point doing anything in them when you can make ten times more rewards if you do a Galaxy Gate instead.
Making the outside NPC more rewarding on the other hand, yes, much more interesting.

Do you want to know why it is impossible to ban bot users? They have to detect bot users. Right now, they can do it easily. After that, the creators of bot programs will update them so they become undetectable. How? Well... It's actually pretty easy to simulate user input. The same applies to any other thing (autolock, autoswitch, autobuy, etc.).
If it was possible to detect and ban cheaters and they did it. The game would just die. Bot users pay premium and stuff. And how many players would have left? 10 per server? And they would just quit too. Yeah, they could just shut the game if they did that.
By banning cheaters nothing is solved. That's why BP didn't do it. The only solution that comes to my mind is to create an official bot. "Autopilot" or something. It would cost uridium. Or real money but less than other bots.
But that would just legalize bots. It still wouldn't solve the fact the game is dead. And they can't really do anything about it. They would have to try hard to improve the game, solve problems why new players quit and advertise the game a lot. But they won't do it. Otherwise, they would have done it already. It's their fault. They are killing their own game. Just quit and move on.
It is possible to make this game alive again. And it's pretty simple. What I don't understand is why BP doesn't do anything. Fixing bugs and implementing new stuff takes them ages. It feels like 5 students were working on this game. Not a company with 10 years of experience. I believe I alone would do a much better job than them when it comes to this. Do I sound cocky? What about private servers? People running them are clearly able to do a better job than BP...

i just started the game a month ago and it's extremely frustrating to shot down by some UFE autolock users (yes i use emp or trying to zig-zag my movement but im being targeted anyways WITHIN the 3 second EMP untargetable window) or encountering bots 24/7 on BL maps
also i wouldn't mind if BP made a bot for the game (i still would be a manual player), it would maybe draw in more players and they could make more money to finally move the client to an engine that wouldn't shit itself if there is more than 2 ships on your screen (im rocking the game on a system that runs the latest AAA games on at least high graphics but darkorbit can't handle 60 fps)
I guess the problem is the part of grinding thats all. If they demolish grinding in this game and expand the ship pool with new abilities and add different playing styles, then the game will be as perfect as any other famous games. We need a skill-needed game not grind-must game.

I agree with that. In certain terms the game is a dinosaur and it really needs some adjustments to fit today's standards. A good F2P game should be appealing to both non-paying players and spenders in order to have a satisfied playerbase.
Autolock is just unskilled. U are botting just to have ammo to fight or this is what my clan doing at least. I could easily win against many autolockers but when I sm doing emp instantly locked again.(motu from ge5 are all autolockers^_^)

Venomous-Brawl Stars ignore him. This Miguel Guy is from 667/Motu that’s why he is d!ckriding them so much and defending them. It is a well known fact that Motu use autolock on ge5 server. Without it, they’d of been erased & would be irrelevant. Literally the only thing that is carrying them is 667 (who use autolock aswell).
I came back after like 5-6 years and noticed the bot presence. I didnt care that much until i saw literal newbie with leonov and 2 flax (or iris, or one for each) botting. Then i just said ´´f**k it´´ and left the game (just right now). Like, if you are planning to use a bot to grind for you, then you shouldnt even have an account in the first place. It is about the grinding. But if you let bot do it, then whats the point of playing, right?

You are wrong about bots killing aliens because normal players can't shoot anything for their quest.
For example trying to collect rinusk in BL maps bots come and shot also. It's well known that only first five will get rinusks from Invokes. So weak players don't have a chance to collect rinusks neither from Invokes nor from Impulses.
I don't discuss the matter for the programs which do the battles instead of the player. It's hilarious even discussing it.

In my opinion the best time of the game was 2008 to 2010, after they started putting a lot of new things in the game was lost and the bot's appeared. At that time America Global 1 had 100k and today it is only 20k players and a large part no longer play like me, in short they ended the game and do not know what else to do! Botting is a good way for dark orbit. You shouldnt spend ur time for getting ur acc better. I am studing 5 days a week and i just using bot to check my acc every morning and see amount of uri and so. It is doing me happier. Iam going for playing by hands for pvp or bp days. Its ok for every mmorpg game even ultima online had it. I think they should made their own bot for premium players its best decision for them.

imo the bot problem is a very sensible one. I think the majority of ppl using bot are making it for the quests, uridium is not a problem at the actual state of the game. take for exemple that 17500 saboteurs quest, how long will you have to take play to finnish that? Months! these quest were added as end game quests in the time, when there was nothing else to do, but now they added more stuff and these quests are still there, you have to get past these long ass quests to grind better equipment effectively. I really am hoping that once they get a real client (not using flash) and they will be able to detect botting more easily, they start fixing their quests, because right now it is just so discouraging to do them.

I don´t see why botting npc should be a big problem. games like duel links also have a built in feature to battle npc automatically, and there´s zero problems with other bots there either.
2. of course autolockers should be banned holy shit on my server the first plutus event was pmpossible to play because one clan´s CCs all had atutolock on everyone around the event npc.
3. I think that trading accounts should be legal and bp could make themselves the neutral MM and transfer full ownership of the accounts. This is an even more obvious case for me than the botting issue, since it would make them tons of money and there´s literally no way aside from maybe NSA-style IP-tracking to effectively combat account trading / selling

honestly no bot from bigpoint it's dumb. just make it so a bot isn't needed. This 10,000 hour playtime needed bullshit get rid of it. quadruple rewards etc or multiple by however much it takes. simple point is to make it in the game there is no end it takes ridiculous amounts of time to get maxed and even then when you are to maintain all the things needed for pvp techs sep cloaks rsb boosters x4 to craft is stupid amounts of more time in bl maps or insanely large amounts of uri it's fucked you can't maintain pvp in a pvp game. I can load up other games and just get to it 100% time playing and improving now in a game like this it's fine to spend some time farming for shit to use fighting but it should be at worst 30% farm 70% everything else instead it's 95% farm 5% everything else if you don't bot the account your using get's whittled down until it's bare bones. I literally get asked by people in 1v1s can we use x3 rsb and no emps or smartbombs cause they have none of those no techs etc THEY WANT TO FUCKING PLAY but can't this is what's wrong make the game fucking playable properly then say from this coming day forward no bots.

It should take time to get full elite that is why they did the game the way they did. I cant see were the fun is in botting? Everyone appearantly dont see it this way but i think using a bot takes the fun out of the game. The most fun aspect of darkorbit is the buildup you need to do to get good at it. Being full elite is fun in its own way but alot of the reasons i play is behind me at that point.

I dont know for what exact reason people using autolock, we should make survey but I'm 100% sure that there is group of people that isn't autolock because ping is so high and when somebody flying really fast and flying zig zag there is no way to click on it if you clicking on place where you see it because ping is so high and doesnt register click on time. I've been saying it for years, the moment they put CBS for some reason I don't know why game is much less fluid, like ping is way to high. In the past they had TV commercials, that is how I get in the game, it was on MTV or something. This days I believe more people from eastern Europe play the game than from Germany. Imagine you are 2000km away from server how fun ping would be. Also FPS is unstable doesn't matter how much you payed for pc. I have a friend that went in a store and ask to build them pc and than test darkorbit how playable it is, than change components to find best setup for darkorbit and guess what, it wasn't with most expensive components. Every time when you have even 2 fps drops you feel it so much, i don't know why but its is how it is, you feel it. Lets say game can run up to 250 fps and you lock it on 60, it will be stable on 60 and you won't have lags, why they dont do it, my guess is, they servers can't handle or they have wrong employees.

About bots, they should be legal, if you like grind you wouldn't use it anyway and mostly if you like grind you don't like pvp, if you like pvp and hate to grind than just use it and have fun in pvp. I'm yet to met player who like to do both. I never met general who never left gates that like pvp, i just didn't.
There was idea many years ago that there should be separate ranking for PVP and PVE so you as PVP player don't feel like shit with chief colonel or colonel if you are best PVP player. That rank you used to get naturally with doing gate for x4 so you can fight if you bought honor booster.
in 2020 we play darkorbit for pve because we are forced to, if youre not ufe then its not worth it to pvp, but it takes ages to reach ufe even with a bot. I just want to pvp, but not gonna kill 5 million mobs to get there

The economy of the game is very grindy, is just bs (to get a 10k shield you need to kill about 80 bk, in the lowers is just insanely much more), so to be able to enjoy the game (so you can protect yourself) you have to sit for like 4 hrs/day for 2 weeks and that only leaves you full lasers and shields, irises and some parts of skill tree, and then there's added the prometheus, the havocs, hercs (only through gg, and chance based), the rest of skill tree, and yeah the ammo helps with that, but that also got high price, such bs is unplayable
@KillmediuM bots dont harm anyone? what about the real players trying to farm ? i mean, for example cub maps, there are 4 cubs, and usualy ATLEAST 3-4 bots farming cubs, how are you as real player supposed to farm ur uri? of course for them it doesn't matter if more ppl shoot, because they bot the whole day anyway. but for you as not bot user it matters. 2nd : bots always have the advantage in PVP as long as new stuff comes out. for example : prometheus. bots had it within days, for a real player, it took a month maybe? ( and even then he had to be reaally active). i hope im gonna get an answer from you to that, im curious what u think about this points

@@pepitoeldrogas7632 ye btw, thats what the game is mader for: grinding. it was WAY more fun back then when not everyone way botting, there were people in all kinds of equip gears. so you could (doesn't matter how strong u were) find someone to fight with. and now, if ur not full ur fucked cuz most ppl are botting and will just smash you, not because they are better player, most ppl who bot are actualy horrible fighters. but u need atleast the drones, spartans /herc the some lasers ( u dont even need prometheus to beat most bot users, new lf4's work fine too, even the old ones work against some of them) and ammo of course. to get all of that. you will need maybe 2-4 months. ( without playing everyday) alone the lf4's you get just by loging in everyday

Man is impossible to keep going farming every day, there's no way to evolve in 2020 because 1 gg cost maybe 70~100 k in events, a normal players farming 2 hours per day gains 10k every day (I talk abbout non premium and noobs) ? So how is possible to play 4 fun if u dont pay or dedicate your life for this game? I think that to this game keep interesting for new players have to lower requirements for pve and pvp, no have any necessarily to evolve this confs every day, i need more ways to play, more strategies. No keep incress damage, shield or hp, that's enough. ( I sorry for my English if u dont understand anything, because im brazilian n i don't have fluency, ok ?)

Ich finde auch das Autolock viel schlimmer als botusen ist. Aber das bedeutet nicht das Botusen normal ist oder sein sollte. Bloß weil du (wir) eine gewisse Gruppe von spielen PvP lieben kannst du nicht das Tool bestrafen das pvp zerstört und das Tool nicht bestrafen das Pve zerstört. Es gibt auch Leute die ausschließlich auf Rang oder Level spielen, pve Spieler. Und ich bin mir sicher genug Pvp Spieler lieben auch ihren Rang. Ich finde es fahrlässig einen eigene bot auf den Markt zu bringen... das wäre einfach sinnlos. Ich verstehe aber deinen Punkt, die bots sollten weg. Am besten wäre es man konzipiert Darkorbit wie WoW. Man verlangt monatlich Geld, hat gute Server, und Gear und Equipment muss viel leichter zu Farmen sein damit man nach kurz bis mittel langer Zeit je nach dem wie man spielt voll ist. Man entwendet auch das Payment System und passt halt alle so an das man nichts mehr cashen brauch sondern nur Farmen. Dann wäre es nice, keine bots = faires pve, kein tools. Faires euqipment monatlicher Preis von vlt 30€, dafür viel mehr uri und muni und equiment mit einem legitimen zeitaufwand zu erfarmen. Das wäre die einzig Ware Lösung... übrigens das Model von WoW. Würde mich freuen wenn du mir hier eine Meinung hier drauf schreibst.

On an average Pve player's perspective, I have a hard time bonus box farming when botters and their PETs get to the boxes first.
autolocks are even worse. Giving pvpers an unfair advantage and being able to effortlessly lock on you even after the classic emp + cloak CPU trick.
This game is a complete joke with all the cheaters. Just go on BL maps and see the swarm of bots grouping at the boss, on GE1 you have like 2 seconds to shoot the boss before the bots kill it. Also people with top ranks cheating blatantly, autolocking on you in stealth with a bunch of other targets to throw him off. I don't even understand the people who play this game at all, even with cheats.

I would just punish the boters, for example: -100% honor, -50% exp, all the equipment reduced to it's one half of amount. Yes, a lot of players would quit the game afterwards, but that's their problem. I just want boters to understand real farming. If there would be a small amount of players then, just make one big server. I'm tired of killing players without any respond from them whatsoever. Just ban them or punish them hardly, regardless what will happen with the game, because it's already more than dead. I would kill (in real life) players who aren't affected by my ish, emp, ship skill,...., or who makes emp or ish 10 times in a minute and still get destroyed because he's fucking boter without any skill.

The time and efford required to get UFE is wayy to much for the casual player. For me a "speed server", starting parallel to the usual servers in the new client would be awesome. In this one Uri and Credit rewards are for example x10 and you can also buy some items and stuff that you usually can't, for example seprom, so you dont have to wait for skylab to produce it. On this specific Server, not a single bot/tool should be allowed and any account that used one should be wiped completely. Events should come far more often in a repeating schedule, maybe even one event every evening (spaceball, crazy cubikons etc.)
As you said pve is a lot more interesting for a lot of players (including myself) than pvp, which is why randomly getting killed by some pvp wannabe rambos all the time gets really frustrating and just makes you wanna quit sometimes, so pvp or more the opportunity to choose whether you want it or not on pve maps of your own faction should be reworked (passive mode with cooldown?)
Just a server where you feel like you CAN get everything by hand without wasting hundreds and hundreds of hours while being killed by overfarmed botusers. This server could make much use out of premium/rabatte and double bonus boxes, as well as probably some new buff mechanics which don't kill grinding nor pvp but are quite usefull for a little bit faster progress for your hard work. If Bonus boxes would be a little bit better than now, people would buy the double bonus. Btw Boxing makes you like 10.000-15.000 uri/hour with double boxes, that's what shooting krisos with x2 gives you later. How about some sort of buff that makes shooting Aliens more profitable too? 10€/month for 25-30% bonus rewards from Alien kills seems still ok to me. You still have to work for your uri tho

People don't have what to play darkorbit for and maybe 50 % of the botters bot 24/7 for this useless rank. If we have JPA, much more players will care about stills in the game and not rank. Pleople will stop using autolock alone, because they will see it can't help them in JPA :P
Just look at the events they put: where is the fun of doing x-7 gates or shooting purple kristallons? Of course they won't have anyone doing it by hand...

Well, I guess we just live a different era of gaming.
4/5 months to complete the progression in an MMO used to be the norm and is nothing chocking for me. But young gamers are used to fast food games where you just log-in and get your quick action in half an hour and forget about it. I guess that's just how games work in 2020+.

They are idiots.. their game politics is totaly stupid.. If they are living thanks to Bot users (they are buying licence, premium etc) why they let to go this far ? Because of their greed. Now normal players like me leave games and only (90 % ) bot users stay.. just look at maps then look at the x-3, x-7 5-2 and palladium maps.. and count how much normal players there will be.. comunity is toxic because there are only bot users.. No wonder that their profit is only due to bots.. who wants to buy uridium despite 400 % helix if there are bot players who have it "for free" ? Nobody. They are expecting like someone is going to buy something from official shop when there is allowed (yes we know that BP are pretending that they are against them ) bot using and basicaly cheeting? If would they thinking normally about game they would do this - do not ban them.. but do some official announcement, and then strat baning them after they use it again. Be really against them. It is probably only way to how to survive and create a place also for normal players and fair play game.. let that morons who use bots in game and dont ban them.. but forbid that and punish with perma ban after they use it again. They do not lose any players and fair play start appear in game.. how aboud autolock? Just ban that scum.. If there was not bots there would be also players who would use helix, and game shop more frequently than now.. and not only for premium.. But it is not my game and I dont care about it.. I already stoped with playing it so we will see how it will be .. from perspective of normal player it is unfair and unplayable.

die frage ob man botter bannen sollte stellt sich überhaupt nicht. das spiel ist einfach zu scheiße geworden um es regulär zu spielen, wenn man einem neuen spieler erzählt das er sich um im spiel erfolgreich zu sein ertsmal einen bot installieren muss der den großteil der arbeit erledigt, wird der sich wohl an den kopf fassen und sich fragen wofür er das spiel dann überhaupt anfangen sollte. weder bigpoint noch die botter haben verstanden das der weg das ziel sein sollte, ich sollte spaß dabei haben mich hochzugrinden und nicht das hochgrinden einem bot überlassen damit man später mal spass am dominieren schwächerer spieler haben kann. man muss es realistisch sehen wer bottet der möchte einen punkt erreichen wo er stärker als andere spieler ist, sprich gebottet wird um sich einen vorteil im pvp zu verschaffen sehe nicht wo das so ein riesen unterschied zu autolock sein soll. egal was von beidem man nutzt es ist unfair gegenüber dem rest, der sich den spielregeln entsprechend verhält. du sagst in deinem video im grunde das regeln gebogen und gebrochen werden sollten wenn es dem zweck dienlich ist, man sollte nicht alle botter bannen denn das würde den tod des spiels bedeuten, das ist wie zu sagen den mörder sollten wir einsperren aber bei dieben können wir zum wohle des systems eine ausnahme machen.
darkorbit ist bereits sogut wie tot das ist wie ein patient der nur noch von maschinen am leben gehalten wird und vor sich hinwegitiert, man hat es nur noch nicht übers herz gebracht die stecker zu ziehen. lässt darkorbit den bottern freien lauf werden sich kaum leute dazu entscheiden mit dem spiel zu beginnen und die spielerbase wird durch die ungleichen verhältnisse auch stück für stück wegbrechen, bannt man alle bots bricht auch die playerbase weg weil mehr leute rausfliegen als nachkommen. doch letzteres ist immer noch sinnvoller da so zumindest die chance auf eine zukunft besteht auch wenn man das spiel grunderneuern und neu bewerben müsste und das wohl ein aufwand wäre der jedem zu riskant wäre. ich spiele inzwischen pink galaxy und trauere um meinen do account welcher leider jeglichen spaß,sinn und damit auch wert für mich verloren hat.
sobald darkorbit nicht mehr profitabel ist werden sie die server abschalten, es wird alles getan um es profitabel zu halten, anstatt preise zu verändern fügt man einfach immer neuen teuren kram hinzu, und natürlich muss dieser kram immer deutlich besser sein als der bestehende kram um ein möglichst großen anreiz zu schaffen sich den neuen kram so schnell wie möglich zu besorgen, und am schnellsten gehts natürlich über echtgeld, das system ist einfach, virtuelles zeug für echtes geld verkaufen und den käufern damit ein kleines gefühl von macht in ihrer virtuellen welt vorgaukeln, es entfernt sich immer mehr davon ein spiel zu sein, ich finde nichtmal einen vergleich der verdeutlicht wie weit sich darkorbit schon vom sinn eines spiels entfernt hat, vlt. ungefähr soweit wie sich alkohol vom sinn eines lebensmittel entfernt hat. es gaukelt vor etwas zu sein das es nicht ist um die chance auf ein stück von deinem bankkonto zu bekommen, dir wird vermittelt es sei ein spiel in dem du dich ein bisschen hochfarmst und dich dann im pvp gegen ähnlich starke beweisen kannst und stück für stück immer stärkere gegner besiegen kannst aber die wirklichkeit sieht so aus das du für pvp bestimmte grundvorraussetzungen erfüllen musst und um diese zu erreichen musst du ein großteil deiner freizeit mit pve verbringen, erschwerend steigen diese vorrausetzung mit der zeit auch noch langsam was den weg noch länger werden lässt, und auf diesem weg begleitet dich bigpoint und weißt dich immer wieder mit einem preisschild auf eine mögliche abkürzung hin die aus einem 3 jahre laufweg einen 20 minuten businessclass flug machen würde, und wenn du dann mit vielen anderen die abkürzung genommen hast bist du kurz am ziel bis bigpoint entscheidet den weg weiter zu bauen um ein neues ziel aufzustellen und neue abkürzungen verkaufen zu können
wenn ihr darkorbit reizvoll findet sucht euch ein guten privatserver aber speilt keinesfalls das original da wird nur das reizvolle interessante system ausgenutzt um euch abzuzocken, pink galaxy kann ich empfehlen aber ich schätze jeder privat server ist heute besser als das original

Ich hab auch schon gebottet, und ich stimme vollkommen zu das sowas nicht ins spiel gehört... aber ist es verwerflich das man sich als normalo der auch mal was erreichen möchte, ohne unmengen an Geld in das Spiel zu stecken sich wege sucht wie er trz irgendwie mithalten kann? Das Game ist- ohne spaß- so scheiße geworden eben weil man einfach keine chance hat wenn man nicht oben mitspielt, umd da bringen hexasales oder sowas auch nix.
Es gibt mittlerweile soviele games die 1. Einfach besser sind in jeglicher hinsicht 2. Nicht auf Pay to win abziehlen 3. Keine monatlichen abos verlangen ( ausnahme wow , aber wow liefert auch ständig neuen kontent), natürlich gibt es das battlepass system, aber selbst in Darkorbit brauch man ihn eigentlich um vorran zu kommen, in anderen spielen brauch man ihn nicht.

Forme bot isnt bad for the game , but if you bot you dndt be have any point of rank. coronels whit reach whit bot sucks. but its god for make a ship to figth. and autolook nothing to say , TATALLY CHEAT AND NO SKILL MAN.
