George Strait Introduces Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band + “No Surrender” - Austin, Texas

- After taking the stage, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band were introduced to the crowd by Country Music Hall of Famer George Strait to open their show in Austin, Texas at The Moody Center on Thursday, February 16, 2023. The band started the show with “No Surrender.”
E Street Auxiliary member, saxophonist, Jake Clemons was not in attendance for this show due to being ill with Covid-19. Eddie Manion filled in on all saxophone solos and did a phenomenal job.
This concert in Austin was my 33rd time seeing Bruce Springsteen perform. It was my 25th time seeing The E Street Band perform.

I have seen George Strait in concert with Terri Clark as the opening act in 1998 at the America West Arena (Now it is called Footprint Center) in Phoenix, Arizona and I have seen Bruce Springsteen in concert in 1980 at the Arizona State University Activity Center (Now it is called Desert Financial Center) in Tempe, Arizona

I have seen Bruce Springsteen 4 times live. And a lot of videos from all over the world. These first few shows the people suck it's nothing like a Bruce Springsteen concert. People are always up singing every song and dancing and doing things at part's of songs. Am not seeing it down in the south and it's really small attendance lot of empty seats. They are saying Bruce wants to much money for tickets. He has nothing to do with it it's ticketmaster and the online sites. He is looking and sounds great. It will pick up when he comes up north where we truly love him and the E STREET BAND
I'm a Springsteen fan. Seen him 3 times the last time we saw him was disappointed. He went on a political rant. This some years back when Bush son was president. Most people go to a concert to escape the rat race of everyday life, to have fun. No i'm not a republican I hate both sides. Still a fan of Springsteen was just mad at the rant at concert.

But when TRUMP started running for president in 16. Everything he was saying was everything I wanted done. And the Democratic party only know one thing when the country needs money. Increase taxes on the working class people and increase taxes on the companies. Then we have people getting laid off because the companies have to get the money back from the increase taxes. And then the working people can't afford much because of the increase taxes. So I voted and will again vote for Trump he's a businessman and knows what the country needs.
