    Thank you very much. Matang was closed last week because of the rain and escaped crocodiles, so could not make it. Hope to get there next time.

      Thanks for your kind words. It was still morning when I arrived, and I could definitely use a caffeine fix after that steep climb!

    i used to climb gunung serapi during the early 80s , the trail looks unchanged, the viewing plateform is still closed to public. Generally locals do not visit this area, tourists are even rarer. Sarawak has much to offer, but due to whatever reasons hardly anything is done to maintain these places to make it visitors friendly. BTW a little video time on the world's smallest frog would be interesting.

      Thanks for watching! I would love to find more of those little frogs next time!

    Want to ask, have you ever reached borneo highland resort before and climbed to the top of Mount Penrissen? but unfortunately because now the resort is temporarily closed since a year ago🤭😊

    • @GlobalGibbon
      @GlobalGibbon  3 роки тому +1

      Hey there. I have been to the Borneo Highlands Resort a couple of times. The last time I was there was December 2020. I am planning to climb Mount Penrissen this year, hopefully!

    Looks like it is possible to cycle all the way to the top!

    • @GlobalGibbon
      @GlobalGibbon  3 роки тому

      It is definitely possible! Unfortunately, the National park doesn't allow it. Perhaps we need to ask them if we can organise a special event there some day..
