I have both LNDL and LNDL bleu électrique, and the latter is much better in my opinion. Better longevity and projection. If you are deciding to buy one of them, go for Bleu électrique.
Honestly I have not found the longevity improved at all over the OG.
@@raulsaavedra709 I guess it depends on the batch of the OG. My OG bottle is a 2020 batch and it is surprisingly weak.

@@johnmorales806 I won´t lie you, they are quite similar. Bleu electrique is a touch sweeter and in my opinion more versatile. projection is superior and longevity as well. I would tried it before pull the trigger. In my personal case, I don´t find redundant having both because you can wear bleu electrique almost all year around in almost in every situation. It is a improved version of the OG.
@@davilescano Thanks for the reply, I might wait because for some reason fragrances are super strong on me (I spray 2 or 3 times max) so I'm not really looking for increased performance. I might just try it in store first before buying because I blind bought ADG profumo because people said the smell was way better but I think it's redundant to my og version (it's definitely way stronger though)
This fragrance is not available in Japan, where I am - so, I have just ordered it along with Dior Sauvage Elixir directly from France. Can’t wait to receive them!

I can see now what the hype is all about. I've got a bottle of the original La Nuit from 2014 but Bleu Electrique is much better in terms of longevity, projection and even smell. Well done, YSL!
It is not lasting at all. And there is a barely any spillage.
For the people that are really wanting to purchase this fragrance wait till October 15th and Macys may have it on flash sale again cause it's been on their flash sale these last couple months. August it was on sale for $35 and September it was 40% off for $46 so hopefully it on this months flash sale. No matter what it's worth full retail but catching it on sale makes it more sweeter in my opinion.

You tried so hard to contain your excitement and not over-hype this lol😂 but you're right its so worth the hype!! Bleu Electrique instantly reminded me of 2009 first smelling LNDL. Its an understatement saying its amazing. Can't wait to buy my 3rd, 4th, and 5th backup bottle of it 😂

I love the way Bleu Electrique smells, I bought it one week and the next I bought a back up bottle for that original formulation! Bought both on sale from Macy’s!
This juice is stunning - it's uncanny its likeness to the original few formulations. In fact- it may even be better, as strong and identical as the first formulations with slight more sweetness. This brings the OG at $400+ a bottle back down to retail value. Rare in the vintage community.

Whelp this might be my 2nd YSL fragrance this year.
For me the best this year is light blue forever for the smell and for the performance. The dry down is even better
I just couldn’t get into that Forever. That grapefruit was authentic. My wife hated it soooo! I’m looking to sell.
@@EmotionsRTemporary she might like sweater fragrances cos forever is not sweet. Try smth like millestone that costs nothing and is powdery frutty sweet. That also is a great sumer scent.
Or y might try the cartier concentrée edt. Is like tdh but but sweater and less sharp. All ladies compliments me on it.

Grapefruit bomb in the opening! The dry down is superb though!
I was really excited about this fragrance and it is definitely refined and beautiful. Please consider how it works or doesn't on your skin as everyone is different. Unfortunately for me, it only projects for an hour and dies to a very close skin scent for another two hours after which is difficult to detect. Using moisturizer and spraying more and on clothes I was able to get a little more longevity, but only the very intimate would be able to tell. For those whose skin it works better with, you wont be dissapointed!
I also find it disappears on me
I thought my Ultime was bad. This goes skin scent in half an hour for me. I wish I had only bought one bottle.
What kind of moisturizer do you use
@@nickannucci9646 I used some Vaseline laying around the house...unscented. Don't expect miracles, but it helps a little and maybe trying other moisturizers might work better.
Blue electrique last so long it not even funny i put it on last night and now 20 hours later I can still smell it on my skin

I was so annoyed cause I just started collecting fragrances and I find out that this was discontinued so soon… thankfully I managed to find some hiding at a nearby store. Super happy with it 😊 👍🏾

@@amierulrusmadi5544 The opening is sort of fresh but the cardamom sweetness carries it afterwards. Projection is probably at 1 meter distance for the first 2 hours then it becomes a closer scent for me. Longevity on skin is about 6-7 hours and on my t shirt it lasts almost 9-10 hours
@@amierulrusmadi5544 idk if its just me but after 5 or so hours it the cardamom is almost gone and it smells more like axe body spray bruh

Awesome review, Ash! I love this fragrance. It's 90% OG LNdL & 10% LNdL Frozen. I bought 1 bottle of this, then immediately bought 5 backup bottles. On a side note, my skin exploded half way through the video.

I love your videos Ash, I really do. But one small piece of advice if I may(and I'm not a native french speaker, but still): The E is before the U in BLEU. It drives my inner Sheldon crazy hearing you pronounce it BLUE all the time. 🤯😅
I finally picked this one up. I put it off forever because i have the original but man this stuff is incredible. Yes its very similar to the original but its tweaked just enough to perfect the dna..I highly recommend this one yes sir!!

Have smelled it quite a few times already, both on paper strips and on my skin. No objection, doesn't smell bad at all, but I'm not particularly drawn to it. I have the normal LNDLH, mine is from early last year, so not any of the old batches, and I prefer it to BE actually. I'm talking the dry down of course, which is what really matters, but even in the opening I prefer the OG. Also, if BE is an all-year-round fragrance, I'd say the OG LNDLH is just as well.

Right now checking once again after spraying the OG on my right arm and BE on the left simultaneously at a store, couple of hours ago. BE is fresher and projecting slightly more so far, which is not the same as longevity. Will report later on. This is just on my skin of course.
As of liking it, today I do feel they are more even really. So if running out of the OG today, I could happily consider buying the BE instead of the OG, which I did not feel like in previous smells. Maybe my nose growing into the BE, or because of the slightly cooler weather now. In any case, to my nose smells better/richer on my skin than on paper. (Had smelled it before on my skin, but quite warmer days though.)
And now more than 6 hours after I applied, both are just skin scents. The BE might be slightly more noticeable, true, but it is also a skin scent. On the paperstrips the BE is clearly more noticeable now than the OG, I must admit, but on my skin there is really much less of a difference

It’s not. I was disappointed. Overhyped x100 unless you like a powdery almost feminine leaning scent. Nothing masculine or fresh about this one

100 ml bottle has been purchased and I love it. It is for me almost on the same level as Y EDP. Which is one of my favorits. Got it on 20% discount here in Denmark.
I ordered Y EDP and sending it back cause I don‘t like it at all. Blue Électrique is levels above Y EDP, it‘s amazing

This is my most worn fragrance 2021 so far. Also rocked it in summer (not on the really hot days tho) and loved it.

My best of the year so far are LMDL Blue Electrique, Hermes H24, Paco Rabbane Phantom, Spicebomb Infrared, Dior Sauvage Elixir and RL Ralph’s Club
H24 is underrated. But, like most frags, they are not for everyone's nose.
I definitely see the subdued Eros in Blew Electrique. It's undeniably there. Sweeter, not piercing, more rounded and soapy. But it's there. Bleu Electrique smells like an old fboy who effed around so much that he's now old and alone but still trying to get it.
It's great, but I think stronger with you absolutely was an even better flanker
Just ordered a 100ml blind , I have the la nuit de lhomme and its probably my favourite for the price it can’t be beaten so I can’t wait to smell this

The opening exploding off your skin is the fragrance oil sticking to your pores, causing a huge pimple that projects six feet the instant you squeeze its trigger.
yeah I picked it up and Love it too. I just wish we could get that larger 100ml bottle around here instead of the smaller version. Hoping that YSL will remedy that by the Holiday's

Bought it recently with a Macy’s discount. Solid like, not a love. Worth it for the price I paid. Disagree on full retail worthy and its not my first in the LNDL line. Get your nose on it first before you pay full retail.
I didn’t really like this at first, but then it grew on me over time
Excellent scent, of course depending on your likings: its very few who ignores this - here under my comment is one (ok with the OG you wont prob. need another flanker). Never heard no-one disliking this myself. Other way around; handful of persons have bought this after been influenced by me.
And of course, since I still have some extra 100ml bottles (because I rate it so high + discontinued) its been possible for them to get it still quite easily💪

Got my bottle a week ago. I owned the original lndh as well and I will say this is just incredible. Very similar to the original but with better performance and longevity. I do not get an blue vibes with this, however. The original DNA is intact but, I would say, it is just a little brighter and smoother than the original.
Would u say it’s redundant to have both ? I have la nuit but wondering if it’s worth grabbing this
@@dabaddestdj2010 Personally, I do not think it is redundant. The extra performance and longevity on their own merits would be enough for me to spring for this. Add the little touch of brightness and smoothness and it is an easy buy in my opinion.

Clinque Happy is still the best..i havent smelled this but i find it hard to believe it beats Happy..the amount of girls that have come up to me is insane of the years
Frozen Cologne is still available at regular price in some Pharmacys in South america, thinking about securing around 20 copies and selling them when I'am back in Germany for massive $$$ Gonna need a huge backpack tho 😂

I bought 2 bottles of the 100 ml. That's how much I love this juice. I had to have a backup bottle before it gets reformulated.

I wish i got the big burst of freshness.. I get it a little bit, but I would say a little clean opening, not really super citrus.. I get powdery vibe right away.. It's a very powdery fragrance on my skin. But I would recommend it to anyone who likes the original la nuit.
