This channel, BlizzField, is made to store all the aspects of World of Warcraft into one channel on the internet. Since the coming of Deathwing, we have seen Azaroth change. Many of the zones that we used to quest in as younger people, have been permanently destroyed,
Remember when thousand needles was a desert? Remember when Stranglethorn vale was just one zone? And the Barrens. The older players of WoW, will know what i'm talking about.
We dont know what blizzard decides to do in the future... Maybe Deathwings brother will stop by some day, and destroy all the things that arent destroyed yet.
To safe guard the World of Warcraft, we are storing our experiences online on UA-cam for the whole world to see... And keep WoW alive for eternity.
If you want to help us and you have video's of you doing quests, collecting rare pets or working the Auction House, you are more then welcome to send in your video's. We happily put all the video's up, so we have a robust database of everything WoW online.
We will also be putting up how to's and guide to play the game the right way and introduce/help noobs on their way in Warcraft.

My first WoW experience was from this zone, back in early 2005.

exactly how i feel too.. it is so intense, i cant help but have tears in my eyes when listening to this. wow vanila and tbc will always remain the best times in my life. for me it was more than just a game. it was a new world.
My first experience is also this zone but it was I BC. Its sad that I didn't get to experience vanilla but now I can finally do so with classic.
I thought this would make me feel good, but it only made me sad.

i remember when i leveled up to lvl 3 and jumped from my chair out of happiness
I still remember the first time I played WoW. I was probably 10 or 11 at the time, but my first character was a Night Elf Druid. I was hooked from the moment I logged in, man. I remember seeing the Night Elf starting zone and thinking that forest was the coolest thing ever. And spending so much time leveling there and all the little areas like that lake with the weird swamp things that would cast entangling roots on you and stuff. And then leaving and finding out you were just on a big tree that whole time, made the world feel that much more massive. I couldn't wait to see the rest of Azeroth.
the sheer scope of the world still astounds me! as an explorer by nature, i would literally spend HOURS traveling wherever i could on the map.
First character was a NE warrior, this music brings back memories.
NE on PVP RP---i was like whaaat i can go STEALTH...haha...later on i learned that higher levels can see you, that was in Ashenvale of course :)

Listening to this gives me mixed feelings.
I'm happy because it brings back the memories of when I played years ago.
But at the same time I feel sad because I know the game will never be as good as it was...

I play Kronos and Hyperion on occasion. It's definitely a lot more fun then retail, but it just doesn't feel the same as it used to to me, hard to explain I guess.
for me its just not the fun it was back then because it's not really a new world anymore you want to explore. and like most classic stuff its outdated. They need to fix the landscape which they damaged in cataclysm and retexture alot of stuff
It's definitely not more fun than retail. Vanilla was a pain in the ass and it was fun then, but not now.
Fair enough, but I personally disagree.
Although the game was a pain in the ass, it felt rewarding. Leveling gave some sense of accomplishment for all the work you put into it. Armor sets were actually cool because many other people had mismatching gear. Dungeons felt challenging, you had to figure out a strategy as opposed to just opening your adventure guide. Quests had to be read to make progress. etc.
I'm not saying retail is all that bad, but it's just a shell of what it used to be.

Dolanaar is really where you expend most of the time in teldrassil because it is literally in the middle, it is so iconic and cosy, love it.
Ah, the music which sparked my Night Elf rogue's journey from complete noob to becoming the guild leader of a pretty hard core raiding guild :) I will never experience this again, and for this reason both this theme as well as WoW itself will always have a special place in my heart.

I remember my first time going through the cave from Stonetalon Mountain to Ashenvale. Seeing the zone and hearing the music for the first time will always stick with me.

I started playing in the middle of Burning Crusade with a Night Elf Priest.... What an Enchanted forest it was!! Casual leveling, enjoying the forest... Wow, how the world has changed... I still have that same Priest today... This is one of the reasons I fell in love with World of Warcraft!! :) The composer of this music totally captured the essence too - so beautiful :)
met a priest there ...we quested all the way down to ashenvale...did alot of dungeons with him..i was druid...so much fun..thx PVP RP :)
throwback to 2006. 9 year old me playing a night elf warrior. killing boars and nightsabers until my starting sword broke. rang up blizzard support for help in fixing my weapon. the guy on the phone didn't tell me about repairs, because he "couldn't give in game tips." cold af
The best starting place in WoW. Can't wait for Classic! I loved exploring the hell out of this place and jumping off the branches at the end of the map, dying and reviving myself down there, discovering abandoned campsites at the base of the World Tree - Teldrassil.
Ahh memories of Night Elf starting zones and how they did a great job of capturing the scale of everything. Going through Darkshore, Ashenvale and eventually ending up in a Guild good enough to down Ragnaros in Vanilla, Kil'Jaeden in BC and Arthas in Wrath. Stopped playing at that point due to change in life circumstances but I'm happy for all the great memories to look back on and this music takes me right back there.
add the sounds of running and the occasional attack and this instantly takes me back to a very very good place.

Yeh. I played a bit of classic WoW in 2019 when they released it. Was far from the same. In a week everybody was level 60. It was only some sort of speed run. Then the experience died after 2 month lol.
I guess this is what happens when you mix twitch with the new genz.
Man!!!. So many memories of running and not knowing where to go. I miss this level. Having friends help you out and the. Founding out there another island to explore. : O, this why I fell in love with dark souls 1. It reminded me of wow in many ways.

every time i listen to teldrassil music it reminds me of when i first started , everything seemed so huge ( still is ) but i never played an mmo so i was hooked ofc also when i first saw the big walking tree i was so fascinated and want to buy a gamecard again but since they started selling out and doing LFG wow was already changed. still gonna play next expansion tho but not this one pff hope they can make my dreams come back. sorry for my bad english

I must have started and run three dozen characters through Teldrassil and I think Classic is getting the job done really well. OK, I've only started six but still...
First character Night elf Warrior back in 09 ....oh the memories....
I wish more games would invest in quality zones-specific music like Wow did. Most games treat music like an afterthought.

god i miss being a noob immersed in such magical world...haha....this is my favorite track , maybe because i was a night elf who though was extremely good for being able to kill Melenas :) maybe because how fucking awesome this OST is. I get so melancholic by listening to this...
i chilled so often as high level here..just to here the sounds started in 06....stopped playing in 09..came back in 14 played a bit and then stopped

Played WoW for the first time last year, didnt like the game that much but the music was awesome.
Same with me, I played a small amount but felt like I was way too late to try to get into it; I couldn't really see it the same way a lot of veterans do, but the music in this zone was amazing.
Played a bit when blizzard released classic WoW in 2019. It was pretty disappointing. First day i logged out, the next day everybody was level 30. Next week, everybody was level 60 lol. It was nothing but a race and then the game died 3 month later. Never went back to WoW ever since as i know the experience will never be the same.
